   Good was good and staff very friendly but took too long to serve. They did give us a round of drinks for free which made up for the slow service

   This was a good visit. Christmas week and the place was heaving. Great atmosphere and despite how busy it was the service was very Good. Main course arrived in good time. We had to wait slightly longer for Dessert. That was fine however because the wait allowed the first course to settle a bit.

   The service was fairly quick and has a good selection of larger and beer on tap, but the food was not as good as hoped , the sirloin was tough and we had ask for the side of prawns we ordered, and the extra gravy was cold and not much of it, the wagu Burger wasn't cooked all the way through but I think it was meant to be like that it just wasn't to my liking, it didn't have any Mayo on it either it just seemed like both meals where just slung together.

   Very welcoming, staff could not do enough to make my visit enjoyable. Had a two course meal for £20, cannot beat it for value.

   Hadn't been here for years but reviews were good so made last minute booking for 6. Menu had good variety & service was excellent. Food arrived in good time with generous sized portions. Take note when the menu suggests to leave room for pudding...definitely worth it. Altogether a lovely relaxes lunch & hope to return again soon 😀

   Really nice food and a lovely pub. The advertised Sunday carvery/platter is so much more than a carvery and understated given the quality!! Whilst it doesn't compete for a cheap carvery it excels on quality. Worth visiting..

   Although the restaurant was busy my reserved table was ready and the service was prompt. Food was served without any undue delay and was hot and most enjoyable.
