   Good food with generous portions, extensive menu and friendly service. However felt it was a little overpriced. Apart from that lovely decor and location so will happily be returning!

   Nice family meal out, a shame they only had 1 glass left of preferred choice of wine.

   From when I booked on line to finishing the eve the service and care was excellent, atmosphere was brilliant, waiter and waitress were ver tentative, quick good service , food was served quick and was gorgeous.

   Disappointed this time at food was overcooked dry chicken and veg side was brown cabbage didn't eat it.

   Was here for a meal after my fathers funeral, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, the food was absolutely beautiful and drinks were competitively priced, will definitely be coming back!

   Have used this restaurant a few times now and always has been ok. Sadly on our last visit, after the main course, we asked for the dessert menu. The menu came, but no staff approached to ask for our order. There was a large birthday party group, who arrived after us and the staff concentrated on them, rather than concentrate a bit more on the customers who are already dining. After waiting quite a while, we decided to forget the dessert and leave. Upon paying, I mentioned the lack of service to the bar manager. His reply was that they were busy. If you know you are having a large group, get more staff !!!! Our small family dining, was also my birthday. Sorry but on this occasion, you let down customers and yourselves. Give yourselves 5/10

   When we arrived at the nags head it seemed a little strange that the restaurant was virtually empty as a few years ago it was difficult to get a table it was so busy however we decided to give it a go. The waitress on duty (and there was only one) was having to do everything but she was very polite etc. She took our orders no problem, starters arrived no problem they were delicious, main course arrived , had to send one main course back because all the vegetables were stone cold, no matter back it came , warm vegetables, but it was the poorest quality roast meal I have ever eaten, in fact I didn't eat it neither did my partner, when leaving the dining room my partner was asked if everything had been ok ,when he told the waitress no it hadn't she apologised (but what could the poor girl do it's not her fault). Needless to say the Nags Head has been crossed off our list

   The Nags Head has a lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff are attentive. However, Sunday roasts are not a patch on what they were and the portions are really small. Shame!!

   Booked table for 7 on 20th Feb, booking confirmed, and on 13th Mar received a booking reminder. On arriving at the Nags Head we had to wait 15 min to be served a drink - there were only 2 staff on duty, one behind the bar and the other in the restaurant. When we went to be shown to our table we were told there was no booking. I produced the confirmation booking to be told Top Table were nothing to do with the Nags Head. They did manage to find us a table because they were very quiet but if they had been busy they wouldn't have been able to accommodate us. I suggest you get your act together and start communicating with your restaurants. We certainly won't be booking through you again or returning to the Nags Head.
