The Bubble Room, our largest private dining room, seats up to 60 guests and can accommodate 80 guests for a reception style party. The casually elegant Bubble Room features hundreds of hand blown glass bubbles suspended from the ceiling, original exposed brick, and a private bar. The Cellar seats up to 14 guests for private dining and tasting events. Wine bottles line the walls of this glass enclosed private dining room offering guests an immersive, intimate food and wine experience. We had a great meal, though, had an obnoxious waiter who didn't want us to use salt and pepper. I understand that a chef seasons things to his taste, but when you're in the service industry and a patron wants fresh ground pepper, bring them pepper without the pretentiousness.

This is a tough review to write because two out of 4 meals were terrific and two had to be sent back. The response to the meal faux pas from the restaurant staff and manager was top notch and the replacement dish well received. In the end everyone was very satisfied with the evening. The cap of ribeye was fantastic.

The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. I like the full/half size entrees option. It allowed us to try the small plate selection and appetizers before the half-size entree. It was more than enough to eat without having anything wasted. Presentation was well done. Fun and delicious salad!

Our meal consisted of an interesting mix of flavors and colors and was very good. The service was excellent as was our choice of wine. We would likely return when we are in the vicinity.

I took my boyfriend here after his graduation, they had a special menu which was exquisite! We had wine pairing and the food was absolutely more than willing to die for. Our server was very knowledgeable on wine and what to pair with the food. The dining experience was phenomenal and the food was beautiful and very satisfying to enjoy. We will definitely be returning.

Unusual dishes, nicely displayed. Trout was very good, steaks were thick, perfectly cooked. Caesar salad pretty, but disappointing, 3 leaves drizzled in dressing perched up around a bed of the yellow part, very small. Not worth the $. Cornish hen fillet? Too small for the price. Charcuterie board very small with 4 paper thin slices, thin shredded ham, less than 1/8 cup, dandelion greens and 4 blackberries, a few blueberries. Sauces were flavorful, bread fresh, great cheddar cheese but only a tablespoon full. One small chunk and a few crumbs. $24 SHOULD GET YOU JUST A TAD MORE.
Service was ok. At first felt rushed, very few customers, had 3 young ladies with us , mid twenties for post college graduation and he kept pushing the $99 wine, even after they started they would like a less expensive suggestion. One dinner never came, all of a sudden waiter wasn't coming around. Finally he realized what happened, she or her dish when the dessert menu came. Over all good tasting, atmosphere simple, not much to look at. After speaking with manager they took the late meal off, and then some. Total bill was about $400 for 6 people, they took $80 off. Would give them a chance but the Abbotts table red wine best wine ever.

When we booked it there was nothing on the site that stated it was a price fix menu. Disappointed in the small selection and the staff. We’ve been there for dinner and it was AMAZING but for the brunch 1 star

The prices on the “special menu” of this graduation weekend were so high! I live in the Bay Area and our prices aren’t even this high. The food was good, not great, and it did not warrant the high prices. Service was good, but so pushy to buy more wine and appetizers. I don’t we’ll ever come back.

Delicious fig flatbread and beat salad for starters. Wonderful wine and craft cocktails, followed by our mains. Entrees a bit pricey for their size, but very flavorful. We were disappointed with our chocolate babka, not enough chocolate for my taste. Would go back again, maybe for happy hour and appetizers.

I asked for no anchovies on my Cesar salad and he gave me one with. I thought the gnocchi could’ve been more invigorating... it was underwhelming.

Our meal was disappointing compared to our last outing. The octopus appetizer was ok but nothing remarkable. The scallops were accompanied by heavy sides which didn't go well with them. The most disappointing was the duck breast. Advertised as "medium rare"it arrived well done and very tough. The wine was excellent, a Malbec Bodega named Flohr. The wine list is impressive indeed. We noticed that this is another restaurant which is starting to emphasize "Small Plates" and may be neglecting the "Main Plates."

Good wine list by the glass. Dinner was ok, nothing to rave about. My husband had the octopus which he said was nothing special. I had the trout which seemed a bit oily and wasn't cooked all the way through. I should have stated that I prefer it cooked through when ordered. We had a pizza appetizer that was a good size, but you hardly tasted the gorgonzola cheese. The atmosphere was casual and conversation friendly. I would come back for a glass of wine and appetizer.

Brie appetizer was excellent. Dinner entrees were interesting, ample proportions, and solid. Not brilliant, but solid. Waitstaff were attentive and prompt . Desserts were disappointing and grossly overpriced at $11 - made me feel like there were trying to squeeze and extra $30-40 out of us before we were through.

Unique in every way....traditional bar...unique mixed drinks....good wine list by the glass...unique appetizer/small plate/tapas choices as well as full meals..."unique" desserts....Active and lively atmosphere...the table choices for our 715 reservations were both close to the front door and "chilly"...a hostess took it upon herself to find us a table further away from the front door....exceptional service when unexpected is a true delight! THANK YOU!...servers were attentive , while still be quite busy!

The staff were very attentive as well as knowledgeable. This was a great restaurant for a first date due to its easy atmosphere and great food and wine options. The only con was that it was a bit noisy and difficult to hear at some times. Overall we had a great dining experience and plan to return!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and really enjoyed the food and wine. Our wait staff was attentive, but not hovering and timed the dishes perfectly. The sommelier even recommended a bottle of wine that cost less than my initial selection. Very enjoyable!

A really outstanding meal and fantastic service. The meal was excellent. Additionally, I bought a relatively pricey bottle of wine that tasted a bit off - the Manager replaced it with a comparable bottle that was excellent at no additional charge. Would definitely recommend

I eat here once or twice a year and always leave saying "That was good. We should eat here more often!" Maybe it is the parking in downtown.

Vinology always offers an interesting set of menu options, with smaller portions for those who don't need an American restaurant behemoth. And of course the wines by the glass are an excellent selection. This time the house cocktails were also both outstanding.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and treated great. Our server Patrick was knowledgeable and friendly. He was attentive without being around too much. Our food was delicious. We started with the charcuterie board and a bottle of Syrah. My husband ordered the ribeye and I had the duck. Both were cooked perfectly. After we had the pannacotta tres leches and a chocolate brioche. Both were also delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to go back.
