Good menu, charcuterie was not all that great but the chicken thighs were delicious and so was the ribeye dinner. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable and the wine variety was pretty decent.

Slightly eclectic but interesting menu. Good waiter. He messed a couple things up, but fixed them. Please don't put cilantro in so many things. Yuck!!
I loved my salad and our flat bread. I didn't love my duck entree. It had too much going on with a Mexican flair and not real good duck and not much of it either.

Vinology is where we chose to have our fifth anniversary celebration, and it was the perfect choice, just as it was the perfect choice when we got married in their event room. The food is always spectacular. The service is also spectacular. The staff is highly trained, attentive without feeling like they are hovering over you, and often even remember you. Before we even did more than start to consider what we might like from the cocktail menu and wine list, our server, who had also been there when my husband and I married, offered us a glass of the wine that was served at our wedding. It's that kind of attention to detail that makes Vinology one of the two best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure to dine at.

The service was superior. The only downside to the entire experience was that the temperature in the restaurant was too cold. A little less air conditioning would be nice. Otherwise it was perfect. The food was really good and the portions weren’t overwhelming. Always a good take.

We wanted a nice dinner for my sweetie’s birthday. Inside the restaurant was freezing (hate this!) so we asked for a table outside. The food runners could never seem to manage to bring us utensils when they delivered food. It is very disappointing to wait with hot food in front of you on a cool evening and have no way to eat it while it is fresh. Both our wines were mediocre. The $100 bill - just not worth it.

I used to love this restaurant, but it seems to be sliding downhill. The tables are very scratched up and not covered by table cloths - this is something more befitting a pub or a bar, not a restaurant of this aspirational character or plate price, for that matter. Our server was very nice, but hardly knew the menu at all. A few of our party had a hard time finding something they really wanted to eat (ok, I realize this may just be particular tastes, but I have heard this from others as well). I personally found plenty to interest me, but have to say that the food was just OK - not great, like I remembered it from prior visits. The best parts? The mixology seems top notch, and a couple of us really enjoyed the wine flights.

Vinology really seems to be slipping. The wines and cocktails remain the strong point. The food was good, but not great. The entrees are now priced much higher than previously and, at least on the night we went, are no longer are offered in small/large portions that had made this restaurant one of my favorites. Moreover, even though the price has gone up the quality and variety do not strike me as having increased commensurately. I think it's still worth coming if you want a nice conversation, drinks and some small plates.

The food at Vinology was amazing! I came for the graduation special on May 5th and the options available were outstanding. I got to try the Oatmeal Creme Brulee, the Chicken & Waffles, the Pastries, and the Sticky Bun French Toast. Everything was amazing! The food came out quickly and our server was very nice! The bottomless mimosas were also delicious and a plus. I enjoyed all six of them!! The atmosphere was calm and relaxed with a sophisticated vibe without being too stuffy. We dressed up a bit because we thought it would be appropriate, but it wasn't at all necessary! You can either dress up or be casual and the experience would be just as amazing! I can't wait to come back.

Went for brunch, food was not fresh but tasted soggy and like it had been sitting for a while. Service was okay. Wouldn’t go back, very underwhelmed. Makes sense why there was no one there on a Sunday morning.

We really liked Andrea our waitress. She was on top of her game for the menu today. We got our questions answered well enough to make our decisions for the delicious Easter Sunday Brunch.
Applause applause to the whole staff. Thank you our guests enjoyed it too.

We love Vinology because the menu is interesting, changes frequently, and the food is delicious! I highly recommend their beet and goat cheese dish, and the fig flatbread. Simply divine. The wine list is extensive and the waitstaff is very knowledgeable about the offerings. Vinology is an Ann Arbor gem!

We went for brunch on a Sunday. It was sunny but cold out. I mention this because we asked to be moved 2x. It was too drafty by the door. Our waiter , Patrick , did so with no problem. He was happy to help get comfortable. His excellent service and recommendations really made our dining experience a great one. We’ll be back. Thank you!!!

This is still one of my favorite places to eat in Ann Arbor. The food is fantastic and the service matches.

I would like to see some new dishes and maybe some more creatively. However it’s only because I have been coming here for so long that I have had everything multiple times.

I would like to leave a special thanks to our server Matt G who did a fabulous job. He definitely made a great impression and made the night very memorable. Thank you! We will be back and will be requesting you.

Part way through our dinner our waiter asked a big favor if we would move tables to another location. They promised a free drinks and other items. When the bill comes they renegade on some of the original promises. Leaves you with a bad impression. We’ve gone here for years but we decided that was our last visit. Disappointing management.

This first time visit was to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We were both impressed with every aspect of the dining experience, including the complimentary dessert for the birthday girl. We plan to return and bring friends and not wait for a special occasion, although it is perfect for that. It was definitely worth the hour drive from Ohio.

Our waiter Tim was friendly and very informative. We advised him we were in a time crunch because of traffic and ability to find a parking space the reason we were late for our reservation, which they nicely held for us. The first 2 wines we selected off the list were unavailable but the suggested 3rd was excellent. The food was very good and imaginative without being weird. Would probably go back when we aren't on a restricted time schedule.

Server Patrick, as always was professional, efficient, and attentive. The food is consistently superb; we only opted for the divine Flammkuchen flatbread and salads, while attending the monthly wine club tasting (Bonnie Dune wines this time). While full entrees can be pricey (for us), we've never been disappointed by their quality, presentation, and execution. The seasonal menu is gourmet creative and varied, offering excellent choices of local fresh ingredients to suit meat, seafood, and vegetarians alike. Desserts are equally excellent, although we had none this time. Perhaps the real shining star though is the fantastic wine and beverage selection, and the expertise in recommending and serving the myriad choices. BTW, I highly recommend considering the Wine Club if you love the fruit of the grape; 2 excellent monthly selections, free monthly tasting, discounts on larger tastings and purchases for a reasonable fee. Happy hour is also delightful, with half off glasses of wine, discounts on other beverages, and great prices on the excellent flatbreads and sliders.

Creative menu with options for 1/2 portions or small plates, Vinology offers a cool vibe and excellent wine selection. Our waiter was amazing--charming and discreetly attentive--just the right balance of service. The wine was great, the bison filet with rye spatzle and brussel leaves was delicious and the lemon tart a perfect way to finish the meal. Highly recommend!

I go to Vinology for both business meals and personal. It is good for both. The wine list is very good. And there are plenty of good wines by the glass. Their "flight of the day" is often interesting. The food is top notch. There are good selections of meat, fish, and a few vegetarian dishes. Essentially all their main courses are available in both full and half portions. The half portion is a good amount, and is a great way to save room for an appetizer, salad, or dessert. In each category, they have some standards, as well as some creative dishes. Many things are local. The service is generally attentive. However, I notice that some of the wait staff can have a tendency to barge in and start talking to the table when the table is mid-conversation. This happened a couple of times this last time we were there. It's a minor point, but it can be annoying if it is just the wrong time.
