Vino Wine Bar & Italian Kitchen
We arrived early and asked the hostess if we could have a drink at the bar first. She agreed and then denied us our table. She was extremely nasty and the only reason we stayed was; the bartender was a lovely woman.
Vino is a cozy little place with great food, wine and music. Highly recommend it for all occasions
Our dining experience at Vinos never disappoints! They always change the specials (unlike other places) and we can’t wait to try the latest.
The gnocchi pesto was amazing but smaller than anticipated given three price
Wine was very good. Taste of food was okay, not exceptional by any means. i had Eggplant Parmesan. Service was as expected. Ambience is good with live music.
Nice little gem! Great service, really good food.
Food very goof
I’ve eaten here on a number of occasions and the food as well as the service were great. However, last night must have been an off night. We ordered our appetizer (grilled Calamari) it never showed up. The waitress forgot. Ok things happen.
She never came to the table to see if we wanted another drink or if we needed something else. My wife ordered the special, (scallops over Cali Fowler and risotto) It was tasty however she only got two scallops and thought maybe it was an appetizer instead of an main course. She was able to finally flag down the waitress to ask her and it was indeed the main course. $26.00 for two Scallops? Not right! Rip off!
On a positive nMy pasta dish was good as usual.
Now lets go to order tea. We received two half cups of tea. We tried to get the waitress to ask for more water but she was nowhere to found. After awhile she came out which at this point I just asked for the check.
Bottom line. No appetizer, extremely small entree, lack of attention by waitress.
I will give it another shot because I do enjoy some of the dishes.
Heard good things so decided to give it a try. Good ambiance and cozy. Our meals were good, prices were reasonable. Extensive wine selection but a bit pricey. Don't think they have a "liquor" license and, if I recall, a limited bottled beer selection.
The food was outstanding. I had grilled sausage with sautéed broccoli rabe. It was delicious. Wife had the Sunday Gravy: ziti with meat sauce which included tender pork, sausage, and a giant tender and delicious meatball. Portions were large and quality was very high. We had enough leftovers for a complete meal for two the next night. The meatball was a little spicy for my wife but I loved it. Our server was friendly and attentive. The owner or manager came over to introduce himself and he told me where I could buy the great sausage I had. Very nice gentleman. There was a beautiful young woman singing jazzy songs. She had a great voice but the place is so small she is forced to stand and sing almost sandwiched between people sitting at the bar. Extensive wine list. Prices are just a little steep for this retired frugal couple but they are in line with other good restaurants in the Boca area. We will definitely go back.
Great little find! I don't want to tell anyone!! BUT THE MUSIC IS TOO Loud for those who have sit upfront at the window area.
Staff is excellent and very attentive. Kudos to Sabrina for helping with the wine selection and additional service. Intimate dining space. There is music most nights. Singer was good but a bit overwhelming at times. Food was good. Overall a pleasant dining experience.
With Groupon fine. Good food. Singer loud for small room. No bread. No salad. Just dinner.
This was a bad experience. To began, the hostess could not find our reservation . Fortunately I had a copy and we were seated. The food was very good but that is the only good thing that I can say about this restaurant. The tables are so close together that it is almost impossible to move one's
chair. The noise level was off the charts ( no ability to have a conversation without shouting ). I love music but this place is just too small to have a singer. Lastly the service. When taking our order, the server was abrupt to the point of almost being surly. When we needed something, we had to flag her down . No one came to the table to ask if we needed anything or ask how we liked our food...and this is supposed to be a high end establishment !! Our server either had a bad day or she has neither the temperament nor personality to be serving diners . And she should learn how to smile. With all the fine restaurants in Boca, I don't need or appreciate this lack of service. We will NOT be returning.
Always a fun evening
Good wine, great food and a friendly laid back but elegant atmosphere.
The music never overpowering, just mood setting and fun
This place is special
Thank you Vino!
Love it good food great singer but it’s loud
Food and desert great
Great food, nice ambiance, great selection of wines, singer was good and she made the dining experience that much better.
We had a very enjoyable dinner at Vino. Although it is a fairly small restaurant, we sat down within 5 minutes of our reservation. Very nice wine selection and although it is a fairly small menu, we had no problem finding entrees that we all enjoyed. Portions were large. I’m not sure who our waiter was bc we had several people serving us throughout the meal. The manager came over and we had a very pleasant chat. I will definitely be back.
Good food and great wine. Nice ambiance, dimly lit and quite music. Very nice restaurant. Small, definetly need to make reservations.
Fantastic wine list. Great friendly service. Nice cozy location
We loved everything about our night. Food and music were wonderful! It was our first visit there but we will definitely be going back!
Very cool atmosphere. The food is delicious. Great vibes
Always good here at Vino. Sometimes the singer's volume is too loud, but the food and wine are amazing.
Great food, awesome atmosphere and good service
Vino Bar never disappoints, it's the best kept secret in Boca Raton. Kait is an awesome server who always does an outstanding job making you feel welcome. Rigatoni Bolognese is ridiculously good! Great wine list and always served at the perfect temp. Small place I am afraid to recommend too highly because I fear I won't be able to get a table :)
A little on the noisey side , but worth going for very tasteful Italian food.. The owner visit the table and was very pleasant..
Great food,lovely wine, terrific entertainment.
The place to go for locals in the know when they want a more urban, low key, cool place to sit and eat in a small, classy atmosphere with friendly people. It's great.
It was a fabulous experience. The food was excellent as always. The thing that really made it a memorable evening was the singer...she was fantastic. It was just one of the best nights we’ve had in s while.
Great date spot. Excellent atmosphere and service.
We love the wine and the small plate but please don’t accept reservations which you can’t keep. Just say, we don’t accept reservations. Waited over 20 mins to be seated because prior table paid their check but did not leave.
From the moment you enter the warm, Soho-style wine Bar/Restaurant til the last morsel of food and drop of wine, Vino (with the help of Sabrina, Kate and Armon) always make certain all have a totally enjoyable evening. Best food and wine in Boca; the menu is limited, however everything on the menu is fantastic. Plus there are daily specials as well...
Romantic with amazing food and wine selection. Live music and dimmed lights made a romantic evening
We tried this after we noticed it while visiting other establishments around the Mizner Park area and found it to be delightful. We had the Escarole and beans with sausage, grilled calamari for apps and the Chicken Piccata and Meatballs with a baby brunello! The cannolis for dessert were great! We will definitely go back.
The main reason that I gave a low rating was mostly due to the noise level. It was extremely loud on a Thursday night at 7pm. It was very difficult to talk with the loud "singer" which made the evening unenjoyable. I was with my parents and it was frustrating. The caesar salad was tasteless - either dressing was watered down or need more of it. Dad order shrimp with his salad and got chicken - the waitress probably couldn't hear us! My rigatoni was very good and that is the only thing I would recommend for an entree. It was large enough for 3 meals though so definitely something to share. Cute spot for wine, very small place but be warned not the place for a private conversation.
Vino has delicious food and a great atmosphere! Will definitely be back!
Great neighborhood spot! Loved the pasta bolognese. Terrific wine list. Service is superb! One of my favorite local spots. Sometimes the music can be a bit loud but that adds to the fun!!!
We have been dining for years as have most Open Table diners. We had a reservation for 6:15 pm on Saturday and arrived at 6 pm. We were greeted with "the table is booked at 7:30, can you be out by then?" Never encountered this before. The service or lack thereof continued with the server thinking we wanted salad served with our meal. It was after 30 minutes I inquired as to where the salad was. Response was "oh I thought you wanted it all at once." Meanwhile the clock was ticking since they wanted to eject us for the next diners. When the food was ready the server asked us if we wanted to use our salad plates. Really? We were told that she was young and worked only one day a week. Evidently she had no training. A seasoned server picked up the slack. On the tacky side we asked for bread and were informed it would be a $3. Enough whining, the food was excellent. Will consider ordering a takeout.
GreAt food, service and entertainment.
