Vino Wine Bar & Italian Kitchen
Excellent food
Entertainment was nice
Overall very good
Small and quaint with lovely people to help you. Enjoyable evening out with music.
Everything was wonderful
We enjoyed our visit to Vino but the service was a little spotty, some of the wine prices were a bit high. There seemed to be some inconsistency between the retail price of some of wines on the list and the per glass charge. I did, however, enjoy seeing some things that were a bit more obscure like the Nebbiolo from Valtellina. Also, it seemed that the person who appeared to be the owner had some regular customers but ignored the new ones.
Food was very good. Gnocci delicious. Noise level very high for such a small place. I think it’s great for a Sat night if you are there for meeting people and drinking. , not so great for dining. We will visit another night, not weekend.
The food and wine is outstanding. Wonderful singer.
My only complaint is that they could use more staff.
Service was a little slow.
Great place except for the volume. Go on an off night to not leave with a headache.
Always a good experience. For some reason, our reservation was "canceled" by the restaurant and not credited to Open Table.
Nice place and good wines at reasonable prices
Love this hidden gem. The owner/manager is quite attentive.
Superb wine list. Perfect menu of well executed Italian favorites. Don’t miss grilled calamari. Live music was treat
The Grilled Calamari...perfection!
Great food and wine, its small and romantic restaurant were you can speak and hear your wife.
Atmosphere and food are good but it was a bit too noisy to have a conversation with people sitting across the table.
My first time there - will go back but thought the wine by the glass was pricey - $16
To be honest I really didn’t like my appetizer.,I think it was the flavor. I had the scallops.
Their wine list on the other hand is excellent!
Great food and service. Been there several times because we love the ambiance and food. However, we feel the place is way too small for live music. It is very difficult to have a conversation when the singer goes on. It needs to be a much lower volume or not at all. We brought some friends and they felt the same way. It was hard to enjoy our night because it is just to loud in our opinion. Background music would be a better choice.
We arrived early and asked the hostess if we could have a drink at the bar first. She agreed and then denied us our table. She was extremely nasty and the only reason we stayed was; the bartender was a lovely woman.
Vino is a cozy little place with great food, wine and music. Highly recommend it for all occasions
Our dining experience at Vinos never disappoints! They always change the specials (unlike other places) and we can’t wait to try the latest.
The gnocchi pesto was amazing but smaller than anticipated given three price
Wine was very good. Taste of food was okay, not exceptional by any means. i had Eggplant Parmesan. Service was as expected. Ambience is good with live music.
Nice little gem! Great service, really good food.
Food very goof
I’ve eaten here on a number of occasions and the food as well as the service were great. However, last night must have been an off night. We ordered our appetizer (grilled Calamari) it never showed up. The waitress forgot. Ok things happen.
She never came to the table to see if we wanted another drink or if we needed something else. My wife ordered the special, (scallops over Cali Fowler and risotto) It was tasty however she only got two scallops and thought maybe it was an appetizer instead of an main course. She was able to finally flag down the waitress to ask her and it was indeed the main course. $26.00 for two Scallops? Not right! Rip off!
On a positive nMy pasta dish was good as usual.
Now lets go to order tea. We received two half cups of tea. We tried to get the waitress to ask for more water but she was nowhere to found. After awhile she came out which at this point I just asked for the check.
Bottom line. No appetizer, extremely small entree, lack of attention by waitress.
I will give it another shot because I do enjoy some of the dishes.
Heard good things so decided to give it a try. Good ambiance and cozy. Our meals were good, prices were reasonable. Extensive wine selection but a bit pricey. Don't think they have a "liquor" license and, if I recall, a limited bottled beer selection.
The food was outstanding. I had grilled sausage with sautéed broccoli rabe. It was delicious. Wife had the Sunday Gravy: ziti with meat sauce which included tender pork, sausage, and a giant tender and delicious meatball. Portions were large and quality was very high. We had enough leftovers for a complete meal for two the next night. The meatball was a little spicy for my wife but I loved it. Our server was friendly and attentive. The owner or manager came over to introduce himself and he told me where I could buy the great sausage I had. Very nice gentleman. There was a beautiful young woman singing jazzy songs. She had a great voice but the place is so small she is forced to stand and sing almost sandwiched between people sitting at the bar. Extensive wine list. Prices are just a little steep for this retired frugal couple but they are in line with other good restaurants in the Boca area. We will definitely go back.
Great little find! I don't want to tell anyone!! BUT THE MUSIC IS TOO Loud for those who have sit upfront at the window area.
Staff is excellent and very attentive. Kudos to Sabrina for helping with the wine selection and additional service. Intimate dining space. There is music most nights. Singer was good but a bit overwhelming at times. Food was good. Overall a pleasant dining experience.
With Groupon fine. Good food. Singer loud for small room. No bread. No salad. Just dinner.
This was a bad experience. To began, the hostess could not find our reservation . Fortunately I had a copy and we were seated. The food was very good but that is the only good thing that I can say about this restaurant. The tables are so close together that it is almost impossible to move one's
chair. The noise level was off the charts ( no ability to have a conversation without shouting ). I love music but this place is just too small to have a singer. Lastly the service. When taking our order, the server was abrupt to the point of almost being surly. When we needed something, we had to flag her down . No one came to the table to ask if we needed anything or ask how we liked our food...and this is supposed to be a high end establishment !! Our server either had a bad day or she has neither the temperament nor personality to be serving diners . And she should learn how to smile. With all the fine restaurants in Boca, I don't need or appreciate this lack of service. We will NOT be returning.
Wonderful entrees!
Always a fun evening
Good wine, great food and a friendly laid back but elegant atmosphere.
The music never overpowering, just mood setting and fun
This place is special
Thank you Vino!
Love it good food great singer but it’s loud
Food and desert great
Great food, nice ambiance, great selection of wines, singer was good and she made the dining experience that much better.
We had a very enjoyable dinner at Vino. Although it is a fairly small restaurant, we sat down within 5 minutes of our reservation. Very nice wine selection and although it is a fairly small menu, we had no problem finding entrees that we all enjoyed. Portions were large. I’m not sure who our waiter was bc we had several people serving us throughout the meal. The manager came over and we had a very pleasant chat. I will definitely be back.
Good food and great wine. Nice ambiance, dimly lit and quite music. Very nice restaurant. Small, definetly need to make reservations.
Fantastic wine list. Great friendly service. Nice cozy location
We loved everything about our night. Food and music were wonderful! It was our first visit there but we will definitely be going back!
Very cool atmosphere. The food is delicious. Great vibes
