Vino Vino - Sunnyvale
It was a busy night and they were understaffed. We ordered wine and appetizers. The wait staff did their best but the waits for drinks and food was way too long. Luckily we were seated outside on a nice evening. I'll give it another try but if their staffing doesn't improve I won't be back.

I took my wife to Vino Vino for her birthday and it was really nice. Although it's a wine bar, the food was really good. I had the smoked salmon panini and it was one of my favorite sandwiches I've ever had. The combination of the smoky salmon flavor was perfectly matched with the sauces, sliced mozzarella, and veggies. Not a huge meal, but the price was not huge either so it's worth it. My wife also enjoyed her caprese prociutto panini. We went with the 4-sample wine sample and with the two of us, we were able to taste 8 different wines. The wines for tasting are actually poured out of a tap fueled by kegs. We tend to like sauvignon blanc, buttery chardonnays on the white side, and pinot noir, merlot, zinfandel styles on the red (not big on cab's). the sauvignon blanc was light, fruity, and refreshing. The chardonnay was fruity so not our favorite but it was a typical Napa style chardonnay. The reds were interesting as they had a GSM (grenache, syrah, mourvedre blend) that was silky smooth but a long oak finish. The zin was fairly tame with light berry and very little pepper. But it was smooth and easy to drink as well. In all, we had a nice dinner, tasted 8 different wines, and somehow left having spent less than $50. So, that's a great deal as well. I'm certain we will return and you should too.
My daughters and I came for Mother's Day brunch and were the sole customers. I guess people do not think to come to wine bar for brunch. They don't serve normal brunch fare like eggs and pancakes. The menu is limited to typical wine bar food like charcuterie, cheese, crostinis, etc. I enjoyed mimosa with our order of salmon crostini, prosciutto, brie and fig crostini and chicken panini. We sat at an outside table, which was very pleasant on nice, sunny day. There was only one gentlemen serving as both waiter and cook. He was courteous, attentive, and our food arrived promptly. This was my first time at this establishment but I would definitely return.
It was affordable price for good wine especially California wine.
We had great time, the food selection was goo for a wine bar and the alcohol was good as well. They were very responsive and accommodating, the only comment I have is that a person that’s working in a wine bar should be familiar with the wine selection and food pairing.
All in all, had great time and will be back for sure
The wine is tasty. I enjoyed my Chicken Pesto Panini.
Wine flights were generous. Food was just okay. Smoked salmon appetizer was too small, not worth cost. Salami is always fantastic with cheese & unfortunately the only meat option is varieties of ham and no salami. The Grilled Truffle Cheese was basically a grilled mozzarella cheese sandwhich with mushrooms & absolutely no truffle flavor at all. The best item we had was the ahi tuna salad. Would return but have dinner elsewhere first!
Nice casual place for socializing over wine. Attentive service and good atmosphere .
Had lunch with a friend and the menu is extensive and creative without being awkward. We shared a bunch of apps and everything was delicious! The burrata and fig...amazing! There wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant, but service was still slow so not sure how it would be when packed. Will be back!
Server took forever
Went on a Friday night to meet a friend for dinner. Waiter came by twice total in an hour. Meat on the fig and prosciutto was gray and not delicious. Rose wine was warm.
Tasty appetizers - loved the seared ahi salad. Wine servings are a tad short but nice selection. The place was busy and our server Carlos kept up - and was charming and attentive. Nice spot!
Enjoyed the selection of local wines in a flight with a sampler platter.
Friday lunch was great.
