"Uniting the world through Wine" is the philosophy at Vino Bistro, with more than 60 different varieties of wines from exotic places like Uruguay and South Africa, from steely dry to sweet and effervescent, there is a wine out there for everyone. We offer wine flights, a choice of 4- 1.5 oz. glasses allowing guests to try several wines at one sitting along with interesting foods to pair with your wine selections. Friday and Saturday evening feature live music from local musicians including jazz, rock, flamingo and classical.

A VERY nice little venue. Live Music was excellent and not overwhelming. Good selection of wines and tapas--we had desert, and they were very good. This will be a nice place to catch a snack and a drink before a show or just to meet some friends.

If you are looking for a fun place to enjoy some good wine and food with very friendly staff Vino Bistro is the place to be. It is currently under new ownership and will be making additions to the menu. Vino Bistro provides great local musicians a place to share their music. Double Feature is my favorite duo.

Friendly, locally owned place. Fantastic service! Great food variety on the menu and the extensive wine list has choices from all around the world! Prices are reasonable, too! Talent worth listening to on music nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday).

First visit with two friends to this relatively new restaurant in downtown Sarasota. I had a small plate salmon meal and my wife had a 10 inch pizza, which she couldn't finish because of the size. Place was easy to find even though it's not in the middle of the busy downtown area. Waitress was very attentive and the owner came by and said hello also. As a bonus, there was live music that started around 6:30 with a very good female singer and a male guitar player who was excellent.

Love this fun family-owned gem! Amazing wine selection with great flight option. The food is fantastic - including some really tasty original dishes. And price is right - excellent value for what you get. Staff is not only knowledgeable, but enthusiastic about sharing tips on the huge variety of wines.

Visited Vino Bistro on a date night and really enjoyed ourselves. The pizza was really good, they have a strong wine list and options, and the service was terrific. Will definitely return.

Very nice and friendly place. The night we visited was open-mic night. That is always interesting. A friend 's artwork was exhibited there, which is the main reason we wanted to visit. The art work really enhances the restaurant. We certainly will be back and recommend the place.
