Took some out of town guests for dinner. Eataly is a very cool space, but the food was mediocre at best, pasta was good, but salmon dish and salad were bland. Tasteless. We still spent $100/couple. For mall restaurant quality food. Go to Eataly to look around or shop; don’t bother with Vino e.

I don't normally do review posts, however, this was my work anniversary, and in addition, I receive a new manager and this was our first outing. My company use Eataly for catering on many occasions, but I haven't been there on a personal visit in a long time. Unfortunately, I have food allergies where I can't digest certain items. I reviewed the menu from Vino minus one item. When I inquired about the pasta and seafood dish to remove ONLY the tomato sauce and either add a pesto, garlic butter or just remove the tomato, I was told that this could not be done. I ended up having a pizza that was plain, soggy and no offense to the preparer, could be compared to an appetizer at some hole in the wall dine-in at best. I will try one of the other areas of Eataly and pass on Vino and its service. If you do not have any health issues, and don't mind having the order as/is, then Vino is the place for you.

Very mediocre overly cooked spaghetti with what seemed like jar tomato sauce in a not so elegant setting. Service was sparse . There are much better Italian restaurant choices nearby, like Gigino’s , Peppola, I Gigi, Scalini Fideli, Locande Fideli , San Ambrose to name a few.

The food’s really really good and the vibe is great. Ronnie and Eduardo are great servers. The only issue I noticed is the food takes a little longer than usual. Great concept though the ambiance is great as well….

The food is always exceptionally tasty at Eataly; however, this might be the only NY institution that makes you pay for a bread basket. Ordered the bruschetta, which was lovely BUT messy as there was SO much cheese piped on top, I needed more napkins! Service was great as always and ambience was the usual since the restaurant is open to the bar and shopping area so tends to be a bit noisy. Have a lovely meal…recommend the spaetzle with Speck e Funghi!!

The food is average at best. Based on the price, I was expecting much more. Despite asking for a medium-rare steak, it was served as sashimi. The decor is very dark, and there are no windows.
