We felt very rushed. Our reservation was for 7pm and we were being served dessert at 8pm. I asked the server to please slow down the food but they did not. The service over all was not up to standards.
We had the Beet Salad and Tuna Tartare for apps, the Filet and Pasta as our main, and the key lime pie and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was very tasty! Our server also suggested a great Pinot Noir. Many thanks!
Enjoyed a nice date night at the Vines Restaurant. Food was delicious. We went on a Friday night it was super crowded. It seems that the tables were really close together so you are super close to the table next to you. We enjoyed the food and the band playing in the lounge.
Great service and absolutely great customer service
My guest steak request of med-we’ll was very over done! Many times to this restaurant and alway had great food.
They forgit to bring the appetizers. Steaks were just ok. Too expensive for the quality offered. The servive was below par. Never again
First and foremost, went for my husband's Birthday, there was no mention of his Birthday by anyone. Capital Grille always makes a fuss from hostess to the manager who stops by and say hi. My steak was overcooked. The server was scarce. The meal was paced way too slow. We dine early, so the restaurant wasn't busy yet. We actually had to put the credit card on the table for the server to bring us our check. All around disappointment.
Food was not served hot. Had to wait longer than usual and think our food set out for a while. Took order for desert with food order, came back after dinner to advise they were out of the desert we ordered. Booth seating was uncomfortable.
We enjoyed our dining experience at Vines. Service was excellent. The meal was excellent ( exception: French Onion soup- An excellent salad was subbed). Key Lime pie....yum. Worth the drive from Longwood. Thank you.
Table not ready at time of reservation.
Not the best service, sat with dirty dishes in front of us for TOOO long!
Very disappointing dinner experience. had been to Vines on several occasions for their Happy hour and enjoyed their bar area. With Magical dining month we decided to try the dining area. We invited our niece and nephew with spouses to join us. The hostess must have been in training so her confusion was acceptable. So we start with the wine that they were out of OK recommended an OK substitute. with dinner my niece with a shellfish allergy was clear on letting our waiter know. Starter -The French onion soup was watery and tasteless. The dinners found dry chicken, My Salmon was Ok however as my niece was eating her dinner she finds that the risotto served with the Sea bass has chunks of lobster creating a need to take a couple of Benadryl ending her night. it took awhile however the Manger did eventually stop by to see if she was OK. This goes down as one of our worst Orlando dining experiences that I can't see us going back to Vines
Our first visit to The Vines! And this is why we chose it when we selected it for one of our Magical Dinning picks. We will be back for sure! The food, the presentation were awesome and the staff treated us with respect and quickness! Three of us had wine and is was sooooo good!
Thank you for participating in the Magical Dinning—-we will return.
Great food wonderful service good value - acoustics could be improved as noise makes it hard to hear your group if more than 4 people
Friday night September 7, was our first visit to Vines and we both were pleased!! The hostess, the manager, our various servers were ALL outstanding...The food was delicious from the appetizers, to our main courses, the tasty drinks everything we ate and drank delighted our tastebuds☺️When we visit Orlando again we will dine @ the Vines Grille and Wine Bar!!
Excellent food and service
I strongly reccomend
Excellent food, service and ambiance. Vines is one of the jewels of Restaurant Row in Orlando.
Very well coordinated staff kept everyone happy throughout the meal. Generous portions and prepared to perfection. Plan to return for another excellent experience.
Could not recommend Vines highly enough! Service was incredible, food was delicious—can’t wait to return!
Great atmosphere. Great servers. Enjoyed every minute at this restaurant. Took my husband on a date to show my appreciation for being a great man of God. He enjoyed it!
This was our first visit here, tried it for the Magical Dining. Everything was good for the price we paid during this event, however, would have been disappointed paying the regular menu price for the quality received. Friendly service staff, but didn’t offer anything additional. For example, coffee with desert. We like to try new places during this event to add to our favorites, but wonder if the food and service would change if we were to order off the regular menu. We never make a decision based on one visit. We liked the ambiance and the service enough to give it a another try.
Did magical dining. The service was horrible. Other people who were seated after us and ordering off of the regular menu were served first. The staff was rude to us, but not to other people ordering off of the regular menu. The food was decent, but the servers were snobby. When saying “thank you” the servers would nod their head, and looked irritated the whole time serving us.
Great place! Service, live music, ambiance, food....all awesome
Couldn’t have a conversation. Noise level ridiculously high.
Very simply enjoyed the food and the service was good
We loved our time at Vines and will be returning over and over. Went to try our with the Orlando magic Dining specials which was an amazing deal for all that we got. The rib eye steak oscar and Tuna Tartare , key lime pie, onion soup all amazing. The servers made us feel like we were regulars. Beautiful space. We will be back.
Fantastic experience. The food and service were both exemplary. Beautiful dining room. Highly recommended.
The staff was AMAZING at Vines Grille and Wine Bar. However, the food was not. We were incredibly disappointed in the main meals...except my husband did like the Salmon. The dessert was pretty good, but the filet I ordered was sub-par. I could get a better steak at a place where I pay $8-$10 for a steak meal. We will not be going back, nor will we be recommending it to our friends.
Ordered medium rare + and got well done the first time and medium the second time. Not good for a steak house. The waiter did take it off the tab without me asking which was considerate. Overall for the category it is in not a prime location based on this visit.
I really enjoyed our visit. The restaurant was very nice and elegant. The service was spectacular and I wouldn’t mind visiting this restaurant in the near future. It’s that worth it. Oh and thank you for our anniversary dessert. It was delicious. :-)
Had a great time for my husband’s birthday. Even though I had an issue with the entree preparation, the staff was so friendly and professional. They worked hard to make sure everything was perfect. Outstanding scallops appetizer. Beautiful wine list. Also had a great band.
We were anticipating a 5-Star experience with food and service, but ended up having to send both our dinners back (Chilean Bass and Salmon.) The main courses were over-priced as well as the ala-carte dishes.
The house salad was the only redeeming factor as it was served with goat cheese and pistachio nuts. They gave us 2 deserts at NC which made this meal palatable.
Always a pleasure
Awesome ambiance and food
Servers are very polite and professional
Birthday celebration was great
Service was very good, the atmosphere was amazing. The food sadly to say was not good at all,we arderse the rib eye and salmon. The steak did not have a good taste, it was like an old piece of meat. Hoping for the food to get back as good as used to be
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants for food and for their jazz music. Now the food was overpriced, the steaks were over cooked and dry. The waiter told us it was his last night working there and it showed. He spilled a shaker of martinis on my wife. We were comped two drinks but my wife had to sit wet thru dinner. The roasted Brussels sprouts were hard as a rock, the asparagus and garlic were cold. The asparagus was also over seasoned. I couldn’t taste the Bernadine sauce. After dinner we sat at the bar to listen to the jazz, which was good, but unusual to get a seat at the bar so readily at 9:30 on a Saturday night. Others must be staying away too. By 10 pm, the dining room was empty. We won’t be back.
Waiters were very professional
Made every diner feel they were getting special attention
Table next to me s wa# VERY VERY VERY VERY.....LOUD @ns LOUD and we couldn’t carry on a conversation....especially when you spent over $500,00 for a dinner. Told the restaurant staff an
Nd they laughed and nothing was done.
Service and food were excellent. Music was advertised as Jazz that you could hear throughout the restaurant, however, it was not jazz and it was barely audible with the loudness of the patrons at the bar who all seemed to be having a good time. The singer was situated at the back end of the bar, far from the restaurant area. Advertised as upscale and everyone was wearing shorts and T-shirts. Made for a little bit boring, disappointing evening as it was not what we expected.
