We had a great time at Vines. The food quality has definitely improved. The restaurant is now under new management, The H Hospitality Group. We heard they’re planning to renovate the restaurant in a couple of months. Hopefully, Vines will regain its roots. The service was good, and the server was very attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back after the renovation.

We went to dinner with friends on SAT May 24 at 5:45 seating. We have dined at Vines several times in past, but always sat at the bar and were pleased with food; service and live band. However, the noise level on this visit was absurd. We were seated in main dining area. The drummer must have thought people eating in Miami wanted to hear his mediocre banging on the drum. I come from a long line of performing musicians. Amplifiers were too loud & drummer too overpowering for the size of the area. VERY disappointed that I had to yell at my dining guests I ordered my first entree selection - no longer available (not out of the item - not available) 2nd choice item - No longer an offering at the restaurant - although both on menu. I ended up ordering appetizers: tuna tartare which was great; lamb chops which were perfectly cooked and an “ok” caesar salad as goat cheese salad I selected was no longer an offering. Prices are high. They should be able to afford updated menus. Our waiter was very attentive and apologetic re: menu. Past meals/drinks at Vines had always been great. I doubt I will return any time soon - I certainly will wait and call first to be sure they have menus that accurately reflect their offerings

Band was incredibly out of balance and all we could hear was an exceptionally loud drums and bass.. they drowned out keyboard/ vocals. The acoustics of the restaurant made the chatter noise incredibly loud and coupled with a very noisy band made the dining experience very uncomfortable. The wine menu was out of date and why a temporary list could not be inserted was a mystery. I don't know if a mandatory gratuity of 20% is the norm but we considered this unjustified especially since the payment machine asked for a tip as well. We cannot recommend.

Amazing experience. Went for an anniversary dinner. If you feel like dressing up definitely do it, I went it a full suit and tie and my girlfriend in dress and heels and the restaurant ambiance totally fit that attire! Ask for Noah the server he was AMAZING! Took a bottle of champagne it’s $25 for any bottle to be opened.

Great visit again. Our server Patty was great. Friendly and interactive. Our Churrasco and Filet orders were on point, flavored, and prepared. Loved the atmosphere! Def will make another visit during another trip.

I’m rating this 2 stars on a curve compared to other steak restaurants. I sat at the bar. Bartender was as slammed making drinks for tables and could not attend to me at all. Not a biggie but worth a note. I had the escargot which was good. The problem was with the wine and the steak. I had the Sommelier’s choice wine which was a grocery store bottle of Hahn Cabernet. It was horrible and I had to send it back. I tried to then order either of their 2 most expensive wines by glass and they were out of both. I was offered a cheap Beringer as their best alternative. This is unacceptable for a steakhouse, especially one that touts itself as a Wine Bar! I had the Prime New York strip medium rare. It was equally disappointing. No sear, otherwise cooked correctly but very grisly and chewy. A few bites I considered spitting out but kept telling myself it must be me. I’ve come here for years when in Orlando for work and sadly it has degraded from a hidden gem to a dud.

The high cost of the meal did not equate to the quality of the food. We have ben going there for over 10 years for special occasions. That will be the last time we go. My wife's steak was over cooked and they had to make her a new one. My Seabass was just average. They padded the bill by $15.00 with stuff we didn't order. We called them out on it and they did make it right. It wasn't like they were busy. There was only 3 other tables sat. If you do go, just be sure to check your bill before you pay.

The food was great, as always, I’ve been here many times before. However, my server Brianna did not bring Vines to its expected standards. I had ordered a tiki martini and was told 45 minutes later that they did not have the ingredients to make it - from the bartender herself. And I quote “ I don’t know why she didn’t let you guys know we couldn’t make it”. Mind you the bartender was very busy and still managed to come speak to us herself. A different server later came and asked if we needed anything else and I went for a basic old fashioned that I didn’t get until yet again, another 30 minutes later. We asked to close out right away because we were ready to go. She shows up with the tab with the martini on there that I never got, and clearly wasn’t communicated with or was acting clueless. I’m not against tipping a server what they deserve but when 18% is automatically applied it’s upsetting because it was not deserved this time around. Overall very disappointed in the service I received this evening.

Vines Grille + Wine Bar exceeded all expectations! We had a phenomenal dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding — perfectly cooked steaks, fresh seafood, and delicious sides, all beautifully presented. The wine selection is one of the best in Orlando, with fantastic pairing recommendations from our server. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, with live music that added the perfect touch to the evening. Service was top-notch — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Vines is the ideal spot for a special celebration or a memorable night out. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true fine dining experience on Restaurant Row!
