   Such a gem of a restaurant in Coeur d Alene. We are lucky to have this establishment.

   Terrible service. Food was cold. No soap in either bathroom, husband was told to “go use women’s” and there was no soap or napkins in there to use. He asked the hostess for supplies and she told him “ oh the owner is out of town and has never told us how to fill those and has been out for a week”. He then quickly asked how the staff washed their hands and she shrugged and then said well in the back”. She also then was seen walking in the prepping area and eating food and not washing her hands and serving food to the tables. Will not be back.

   Your portions were VERY small. My husband ordered the shortribs and was really diappointed by how small his portion was considering he paid $25.00. I had the pumpkin ravioli and it was delicious, as were the acorn squash frites. I will be back. He won't.

   Delicious small and large plates. The steak frites is wonderful! They also have a nice selection of wines by the glass. Service is very attentive. This is a great date night place!

   This was our first time to the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and service. We shared 3 starters and an entree of scallops and would do this again. I do wish there were more by the glass red wine choices of better quality.

   Food was spectacular, wine was even better. A little slow initially on service but we had a great time for date night here and recommend it and will be back soon.

   Hunted around online and chose Vine & Olive based on the online menu and several positive reviews. Service and food was excellent, our only negative point would be the cost. Very expensive for us as travellers from the UK at a time when the exchange rate is so poor. But definitely worth the visit.
