Stephen and Tyler were outstanding! They both did a tremendous job. True professionals and pleasant!
Great Italian meal
This is our Holiday / Special Occasion Italian restaurant. The servers are very polite and personable, the restaurant space itself is very elegant - request a table under the high windows - and Tony Bennett Sonoma Cutrer. Very pleased with our Anniversary dinner; kudos all around!
Steve our waiter provided excellent service.
always an excellent evening. great food and service.
Thank you Stephen and Vincenzos for a special dinner. So nice to see Thomas and Haley there as well.
Delicious food, great service, crazy low prices.
My son and I went for lunch. Our server was so helpful and friendly. We shared a salmon special and a pasta dish.
The prices were very reasonable.
I highly recommend.
Another good meal at Vincenzo's. Covid kept me away for a year but chef was able to whip up my favorite chicken pasta, even though the menu has updated. That's service! Gabrielle was there to great us with his usual flair and gratefulness. Worth a trip downtown.
This food was absolutely amazing as well as the service.
We had a fantastic meal. Great food and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend Vincenzo’s!
The service was excellent, the food not so much. There are better Italian restaurants in Louisville.
Vincenzos was an awesome experience where the only thing more impressive than the service was the food.
Excellent service and great food
Great food, great service (Kyle and Julie) and great atmosphere as always. And it's always nice to chat with Gabriel!
Our waiter this time was rude and stayed gone. The side door was open so it was cold.
We've only been here twice, but each time has been amazing. Thank you!
Service was excellent, the meal amazing and the experience was 5 star all the way
Server was excellent, been there 18 years. He made the night great!
Special dinner with my daughter. Food and service were wonderful.
Not up to pre-Covid standards for sure. It appeared to be understaffed. Our waiter was kind and knowledgeable but busy with serving 5 tables all by himself. Host/bartender seemed uninterested.
The food was amazing! The chef comes out to greet the guests and the ambiance is incredible. It is tru fine dining at an affordable price. Our server was fine to start but lacked a little at the end. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone!
Outstanding personalized service. Highest quality of food. Accommodating to special request especially with a child. Very warm and inviting and friendly
Classy/romantic dining experience, exceptional service and delicious food all the way across the board
Good, above average food and above average service.
However, I do have three comments: First, the tables are too close together (not for COVID concerns) but to have any privacy and conversation. Maybe too many tables or extra two tops setup, for excess demand ?
Second, the decoration seemed a little bland (apart from the center piece). I have been to Italy a number of times (mostly for work) and ate in a number of restaurant and you see and feel you are in Italy (not in a tacky way but authentic).
Third, our table must have been below a heat vent as we sweated like we were in July, without air-conditioning.
Other than that, fine, we will return.
Food was good. Not excellent. Service staff was very attentive. Very noisy which has not been our typical experience.
Delicious. Relaxed. Enjoyable. Will be back.
Great service. Our waiter(I do not remember his name) but he was awesome. The food was so good. It was a great experience!!
Wonderful food… Wonderful atmosphere… Wonderful history.
I recognized our waiter… I’ve been going to Vincenzo’s’s for 25 years, and I think he’s been there the entire time.
He was unexpectedly cold and distant.
The coldness of the waiter was the only negative part of the evening.
It’s a Louisville treasure. Vincenzo is a wonderful host who will make you always feel special.
Great lunch !! Ruben was the best taking care of us at table !!
Service was excellent!! Thank you to ALL involved.
My wife and I were celebrating getting vaccinated and looking forward to a great night out. Upon being seated we waited over 10 minutes for anyone to come to our table and then it was only the water server. Five minutes after that, a heavily perspiring waiter came to the table, did not greet us, and asked for our drink order. He brought the drinks promptly and asked for our dinner order. I asked about specials and he listed two things that we wouldn't have know about if we hadn't asked. The waiter made zero small talk throughout our dinner and showed little interest in making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Our Caesar salads were dropped off without a comment or an offer of fresh pepper. I wanted anchovies but the waiter never came back to check on us. Dinner was good but nothing extraordinary given the prices. We ended up spending over $200 and both my wife and I felt it was the most overpriced diner we had ever experienced. My wife and I could not have been more disappointed in what we thought would be a "five star dinner."
Food was amazing and service was fantastic. I only gave 3 stars due to the cleanliness of the restrooms. Thankfully, we had eaten before going to the bathroom. Had I seen the bathroom I would have left. It made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. In the women’s restroom there was mildew and mold. the wallpaper was falling off the walls due to a leak in the ceiling. In both bathrooms the light covers had dead bugs and were dirty. Then cover in the men’s bathroom appeared to have moldy residue from a possible leaking ceiling.
Vincenzo’s is the best Italian restaurant in Louisville. Their food and service is second to none. Vincenzo walks the restaurant and greets each guest. You are truly part of the family here.
Fabulous meal, excellent service by Lukas and team, and Vincenzo attentive as always. It has never disappointed!
Food was superb. Service was excellent. Ambience was really nice.
My favorite Louisville restaurant.
Every experience here is 5 stars. The food is always excellent and even during the busiest of times the service is always great. We had the salmon, the filet, and the spaghetti as well as the crepes, all delicious......followed by the best cheesecake I have ever had.
What a lovely dining experience. I am already looking forward to next time.
Heat was stifling. Even with a reservation they seated us by the kitchen entrance. Fixed that after addressing it. Shuffled us back when that change happened. 2 hours total for a 2-course meal.
The menu and prices read that food would be not American Italian but true Italian. Very disappointed.
For the money, I would probably go somewhere else. The food was good but not mind-blowing. The service was pretty poor. Our waiter forgot our order, brought out our food and set it on the table next to us. They told him that was not what they ordered and they pretended like they took it back but they really just walked away for a second and put it on our table.
Not a huge deal, but seemed weird to know that someone else was breathing all over our food before it was served to us. Also, when they brought our check in the book, there was no ticket inside. I put my card in it anyway but had no idea what the actual amount was until he had already run the card. Would not likely go back.
