Food was good. Not excellent. Service staff was very attentive. Very noisy which has not been our typical experience.
Delicious. Relaxed. Enjoyable. Will be back.
Wonderful food… Wonderful atmosphere… Wonderful history.
I recognized our waiter… I’ve been going to Vincenzo’s’s for 25 years, and I think he’s been there the entire time.
He was unexpectedly cold and distant.
The coldness of the waiter was the only negative part of the evening.
It’s a Louisville treasure. Vincenzo is a wonderful host who will make you always feel special.
Great lunch !! Ruben was the best taking care of us at table !!
Service was excellent!! Thank you to ALL involved.
My wife and I were celebrating getting vaccinated and looking forward to a great night out. Upon being seated we waited over 10 minutes for anyone to come to our table and then it was only the water server. Five minutes after that, a heavily perspiring waiter came to the table, did not greet us, and asked for our drink order. He brought the drinks promptly and asked for our dinner order. I asked about specials and he listed two things that we wouldn't have know about if we hadn't asked. The waiter made zero small talk throughout our dinner and showed little interest in making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Our Caesar salads were dropped off without a comment or an offer of fresh pepper. I wanted anchovies but the waiter never came back to check on us. Dinner was good but nothing extraordinary given the prices. We ended up spending over $200 and both my wife and I felt it was the most overpriced diner we had ever experienced. My wife and I could not have been more disappointed in what we thought would be a "five star dinner."
Food was amazing and service was fantastic. I only gave 3 stars due to the cleanliness of the restrooms. Thankfully, we had eaten before going to the bathroom. Had I seen the bathroom I would have left. It made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. In the women’s restroom there was mildew and mold. the wallpaper was falling off the walls due to a leak in the ceiling. In both bathrooms the light covers had dead bugs and were dirty. Then cover in the men’s bathroom appeared to have moldy residue from a possible leaking ceiling.
Vincenzo’s is the best Italian restaurant in Louisville. Their food and service is second to none. Vincenzo walks the restaurant and greets each guest. You are truly part of the family here.
Fabulous meal, excellent service by Lukas and team, and Vincenzo attentive as always. It has never disappointed!
Food was superb. Service was excellent. Ambience was really nice.
My favorite Louisville restaurant.
Every experience here is 5 stars. The food is always excellent and even during the busiest of times the service is always great. We had the salmon, the filet, and the spaghetti as well as the crepes, all delicious......followed by the best cheesecake I have ever had.
What a lovely dining experience. I am already looking forward to next time.
Heat was stifling. Even with a reservation they seated us by the kitchen entrance. Fixed that after addressing it. Shuffled us back when that change happened. 2 hours total for a 2-course meal.
The menu and prices read that food would be not American Italian but true Italian. Very disappointed.
For the money, I would probably go somewhere else. The food was good but not mind-blowing. The service was pretty poor. Our waiter forgot our order, brought out our food and set it on the table next to us. They told him that was not what they ordered and they pretended like they took it back but they really just walked away for a second and put it on our table.
Not a huge deal, but seemed weird to know that someone else was breathing all over our food before it was served to us. Also, when they brought our check in the book, there was no ticket inside. I put my card in it anyway but had no idea what the actual amount was until he had already run the card. Would not likely go back.
All is good ... disappointed on the dessert options...needs some improvements please
It's the best restaurant in Louisville! Service is unmatched, food is fantastic.
Our second visit to Vincenzos, and it was absolutely as excellent and wonderful as we anticipated! For an experience in fine dining, Vincenzio’s is on point. I cannot recommend one dish over another because I wouldn’t want to do someone out of any other excellent dish on their menu. Everyone in our party each had a different entrée, and everybody raved. The wait staff is fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit to Vincenzo’s
Always an elegant experience! Highly recommended.
We love this restaurant -service and food out of this world!
As always outstanding food and superior service by our wait staff Ruben
Steven was the best ever. Thanks! The food was great too!
Amazing food and outstanding service!
Incredibly fancy, very direct and quick waiters and waitresses. They were very helpful with the wine menu as well! The food was delicious and the ambience was pretty cool!
My wife and I enjoyed a really nice Valentine's Day dinner. We love Vincenzo’s and always look forward to our next visit!
The food was just okay. Seevice was not up to par. Was never offered pepper for our salads, Parmesan cheese for our pasta. Desert was ordered never offered a after dinner drink of coffee.
Watch them clear the table next to us. While restring it they placed the stack of clean napkins on top the tray of dirty glasses in the days of Covid we just lost it could not even believe what what were seeing.
The food was great. We ordered from the Valentines Day menu. I had my dessert at the restaurant, but my boyfriend asked for his to go. We were given an extra dessert “in case I needed a midnight snack.” Service was exceptional. We will be back.
The food was excellent, but a bit too pricey. $75 per person included an entree, salad, and dessert. A good amount of food, though, so thee was enough for me to take home leftovers. There was a $35 service fee automatically tacked on to our bill (for a party of two), then we still tipped on top of that. One of my favorite parts was that Vincenzo himself was there greeting and serving customers the whole time. In typical Italian fare, he kept checking in and encouraging me to eat more. It warmed my heart and made it truly feel like he was a close family member. I would go back if nothing more than to just hang out with him .
We were celebrating a friends 40th bday!!! The staff was amazing and accommodated us very well!
Outstanding diner...great service...thank you Vincenzo❤
I really appreciated Vincenzo coming around and greeting us. We had a wonderful time and the food and dessert were fabulous! Our waiter was fabulous as well!
Thank you Vincenzo!
Food, service and ambiance outstanding,
a downtown Louisville treasure.
I went for lunch on my birthday with my mother.
Excellent service and food!
We were celebrating a big birthday and had a wonderful dining experience, complete with table side service, wonderful wine and a luscious dessert!
Vincenzo’s was everything you would hope for in a fine dining experience. The ambience was fabulous and there’s not one thing that I could say it was less than another and everything was spectacular. RAVIOLI CON POLLO, SPINACI FUNGHETTI MASCARPONE is not to be missed.
Great Birthday dinner at this amazing restaurant service was great food was delicious ♥️♥️
Very nice experience. Very quiet evening! The chef was playing around with new bread recipes and it was amazing! Will definitely be coming back.
Vincenzo's was outstanding! The food and service was top notch as always!!
