Our small group (table for 5) had a most delightful lunch -- we will return!
Enjoyed our experience. Our only concerns were the gnats that were plentiful and harassing. Also, preferred less sauce on the lamb.
Top notch service and outstanding food!
We had a great meal (as always)! The food is always wonderful and the service is always good. We are so glad that Vincenzo's is back!!
The ambience is very elegant and service very friendly. The food was pretty good. Not amazing but pretty good. The portions were kind of small but that’s to be expected with fine dining experiences. When I mentioned to the server that we were there for my boyfriend’s birthday she actually brought us out a free piece of dessert of his choice that was decorated! It went well above and beyond what they need to do to make sure that we had a good time. if you’re looking for an elegant fine dining experience I highly recommend
Excellent food,service, and ambiance!
Food is delicious, service is great, prices are too high
Great service and quality Bar Drinks!
We were celebrating my Wife's birthday and the cake was fantastic.
Very attentive servers. Absolutely delicious food and generous portions. Overall an excellent date night.
Excellent food and attention, nice place. Thanks for the nice time for my family
This place was not LGBT friendly to say the least.
My wife went out of her way to make a reservation (noting that it was our anniversary) at the very popular Vincenzos in Louisville, Kentucky for our anniversary. We thought we were getting an excellent dinner with some awesome service and maybe a “hey, Happy Anniversary!” At the very least, but we got none of that. The couples to our left and our right got the best of service, kind conversation, free dessert, and the friendliest staff you could imagine for their Anniversaries. We weren’t once asked if we were celebrating anything, if we needed anything and we could barely get a refill on waters. It was very apparent that we were treated differently than the couples to our left and our right. They got all the bells and whistles, the congratulations, friendly staff and free dessert to top it all off. I don’t expect extras or even a congratulations. I and WE expect to be treated like every other HUMAN BEING in that establishment. Like a paying customer.
Thank you to the hostess and valet for acknowledging us.
Food was amazing and so was the service.
David provided excellent service
He was patient with our questions and was very kind. My granddaughter enjoyed her 5th grade graduation luncheon and my friend Enjoyed her birthday cake!
Traveling our way from St. Louis-Louisville-Lexington-Nashville and back to STL.
The tomato/mozzarella appetizer was great. We were disappointed in the veal parm. We normally have dinner there and it is always great. We just happened to be in town and tried lunch for the first time.
As always, the food was perfect, and the service impeccable. Vincenzo is so welcoming. Tough to find the experience anywhere else. The restaurant is a Louisville treasure.
I will start by saying the food was really good. I highly recommend the spaghetti with lobster tail and shrimp. However, the service is what really hurt our experience that evening. It was a good 10-15 min before we were greeted after we were seated. It was another 10 min after that before we were asked if we wanted to start with a drink. At which time, we were also asked if we wanted to put in our food order (feeling very rushed). We declined and waited to get our drinks. At some point another server came by and said they would be helping us because the other server was too busy. And we never saw that second guy again. We were in a tight corner and I felt like I was going to get hit by a server walking in and out of the kitchen area. All in all - we were there an hour and a half, had one drink each and only ordered our main dish. Again, great food. But the service was well below par.
Classic in every sense of the word. Excellent service with attentively prepared cuisine. Recommended!
Great food!!! My husband and I love this place! Great for dates!
Our service was amazing. The food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. 10 out of 10 would go back again.
Very authentic and outstanding cuisine. Wine list is also very reasonably priced. Had some friends with me from Italy and they gave it 2 thumbs up! Highly recommended.
Perfect family birthday dinner. Amazing food, service, and ambiance. This would be a great date night dinner location! I will be back!
We have been to this restaurant before on special occasions and have enjoyed it a lot' This time it remained the same except for the food, it was not worth the money!!
We went to Vincenzo’s for a special occasion. We made reservations and were seated in a very comfortable booth in the center of the restaurant under the sculpture. (I will always request this seat now that I know of it for special occasions.) We were surrounded by beautiful ambiance, art and music. The wait staff were outstanding and worked together well to care for the customers. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the rack of lamb and crepes. Vincenzo came out and greeted the tables. It was a wonderful experience.
The food was amazing I love this place and would recommend it
We went there for a special occasion
Great restaurant and friendly people. Thank you Vincenzo and Willie.
Birthday diner always hits the spot! Wonderful service and good as always!
One of the few remaining fine dining restaurants with a table captain and multiple servers performing superbly choreographed delivery of exquisite food.
We had 7 people and considering the circumstances they did a great job. The service was a bit slow but that’s to be expected with Covid and people bit fully back to work yet. All the food was excellent and their wine selection is great. Highly recommend.
Excellent food,extremely well prepared.
Service spot on
What a fabulous experience! My son was unable to be with on Mother's Day, so last night we had Mother's Night at Vincenzo's. The waiter was gracious and attentive. The food was delicious. It was nice to meet Mr. Vincenzo himself as he came to our table to make sure all was well. The white tablecloths and fresh flowers on the tables contributed to the elegant and festive ambiance. Because the waiter knew we were celebrating Mother's Day, at the end of the meal he surprised us with a large slice of a delicious cake.
Vincenzo's never disappoints. We schedule family celebrations there. Vincenzo walks through the dining room and greets all . We truly feel like family there.
Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely come back and would highly recommend.
A special graduation dinner was celebrated at Louisville’s best restaurant . The table enjoyed the exceptional food -crepes, tortellini, Caesar salad, veal, lobster tail, derby pie and tiramisu .
We were pleased to be greeted by Vincenzo and his staff and enjoyed our outstanding meal.
We were celebrating our son's college graduation and had a lovely evening at Vincenzo's. The meal was outstanding and the service was impeccable. There was special menu for graduation which we were not aware of before our visit so we were initially disappointed to not have chicken piccata or fettucine alfredo but the dishes from this special menu were out of this world!!! This was our first visit to Vincenzo's and will certainly not be our last.
Amazing. The owner was so engaged throughout the evening with every table making sure people were enjoying themselves. There will be a return visit
Vincenzo's is the type of restaurant where presentation and service are every bit as important as the food. They use the old system wherein a captain addresses every table and directs the assistants under him. Frequent attention to detail made for a very nice dinner. I ordered the special Prix Fixe dinner consisting of house salad, baked salmon and mousse for dessert. Everything was delicious. Yes, this place is very pricey, but it's very much worth it.
Our lunch was absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed the chicken piccata and the Chicken tetrazzini as well as the deserts! The service was incredible. The owner also came to our table several times to check on things. This is a very nice Italian restaurant and will definitely make it a "Must" stop when we are in Louisville
Great service plus table side cooking made for a great experience!
