Vincenzo's Italian Restaurant
I love Vincenzo’s. They never disappoint. It is wonderful to go out to eat where the owner greets you at the table, the servers assist you like you are the only person in the restaurant and the food is excellent. I think Vincenzo’s is the only restaurant left that makes the Caesar salad at your table. We will definitely be back!
Our meal was fabulous. We got the ravioli with chicken, spinach and mushrooms. It was so rich. Very satisfied.
Vincenzos never disappoints. Food and service was absolutely amazing.
The food was delicious as always
Great food, great service! Spaghetti with lobster was amazing!
This was a wonderful dining experience for us! It was very fancy compared to what we usually choose, but perfect to celebrate our Anniversary. The service was an experience in itself beginning with valet parking, the napkin being laid in my lap & constant wine & water refills. The food was spectacular & table side cooking & serving was a fun surprise. We loved our evening here!
Lovely restaurant, great food! Such attention to detail!
We have eaten here multiple times and have always had great service and food.
I had the risotto with clams and shrimp as a starter, I like el dente but it was undercooked.
they suggest chees on all their seafood dishes which I had to say was not the best.
Caser salad was very good but the signature dish for $46 was with a miniscule lobster tail and very light on all other seafood, decent but not good value.
Wine selection is good and servers nice.
Just a fantastic experience. Everyone was very attentive the moment we walked into the restaurant. The owner stopped by our table a couple times to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. Casey our Waiter was very personable and gave us great service. When we are back in Louisville we will dine again..
Great food, environment and people. What more could you ask for?
It was our anniversary and Kyle was phenomenal. Thank you for making our night special.
The worst service that I have ever had. I did receive something extra though, something I didn’t expect, water poured in my lap by another server. Food was decent, but the overall experience took away from its quality. Also when you actually see your server at the end of the meal, you may encounter him slowly telling you how to sign your check like there is something wrong with your cognitive abilities.... I know this has been a popular LOUISVILLE location for years, but my first experience will be my last at Vincenzo’s; Olive Garden would have been a better choice that night.... Grassa Grama is a much better choice at this level of dining.
Absolutely, great service and food. I will definitely come back.
As always everyone there made the experience for my wife and daughter amazing. They were running late on a very busy night before the theater and Mark made sure that they were able to still have an amazing meal and make it out in time to make the show.
The valet even made sure to leave their vehicle in a perfect location for them after leaving the theater so that they didn't have to walk as far on a cold night.
My whole family truly loves this establishment and they are our go to for anything we want to celebrate as well as just a great meal.
Thank you again!
Amazing as always. Vincenzo's is always a 10, service, food, ambiance. Wish I could go every week.
Great food with great service! Would definitely go back again!
Truthfully, one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! They care down to the littlest details. They even make the Cesar salad dressing, from scratch, table side! Just overall so amazing and I cannot wait to come back.
It’s a great place, very calming after a busy day.
Food and staff excellent.
Vincenzo’s was fantastic! The food was amazing. The staff were so attentive. I was a wonderful experience!
Upon entering the restaurant you are greeted warmly and service upon seating is immediate. Rueben was our waiter and could not have been accommodating. Loved the experience. Only suggestion is to have valet parking during lunch.
Our first time, but definitely not our last, to experience this gem. From start to finish it was excellent. The appetizers, the salad, our entrees, and drinks. And the service was exceptional! We’ll most certainly be back!
Love the experience! The food and service were excellent- over the top.
Wine list was fantastic too.
Will return again and again

We look forward to visiting again. Kyle was an excellent waiter.
We were visiting Louisville for our Anniversary. We asked around for a great local place to have a nice anniversary dinner. Vincenzo's was recommended to us. We got there early & ordered cocktails at the bar. They were mediocre. After we were seated, I asked a server where the restroom was. She snapped at me & pointed to the corner. I was taken aback & thankful that she wouldn't be our server for the evening.
Our server was great & attentive in the beginning. We ordered appetizers, salad, & our entrees. Our first few courses were great. For my entree, I ordered the stuffed filet. I always order my steak medium-rare. My steak was so rare that I couldn't eat it. Our server never came back to check, so I didn't get a chance to get it fixed. By the time he did return, my husband has finished his meal & my food was cold. They offered to warm it up, but I declined. They did offer us free dessert, but we weren't really in the mood for it.
First class staff. Great cocktails, reasonable wine list and excellent food.
Really nice people, authentic italian, great decor.
I and my wife went to Cincenzo’s at my wife’s birthday. It was very precious time for us!
Service and food was good. I want go again and strongly recommend to friends!
Fantastic food . . . helpful and friendly service. Pricey, but worth it!
Best restaurant in Louisville which has a lot of good restaurants.
Food was excellent as usual. Service by John got us finished by time to make it to Celine Dion concert. I’ve never had a bad meal here. They care about their clientele.
Fantastic melt in your mouth food and exceptional service! It was an older crowd though so the younger you are the more you stand out here.
Waiters were jackets and white beau ties
Some meals are prepared table side
Great location for a celebration
Vincenzo’s is always a treat. The ambiance and food are enjoyable. Service is gracious.
This is a fancy and beautiful restaurant with excellent food! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!
Everything was great, the pork was delicious
The service was superb and the food was excellent. The atmosphere made for a very memorable evening.
Dinner special Veal chop was quite delicious and large yet sides were ok, not great. Service was fine, not great. Cesar salads not prepared table side due to a crowded dining room. I get that I guess, yet a substantial loss in dining theatre for a $14 so-so sized salad. It’s a high end, old school fine dining atmosphere; however not all food items live up to that level or price point. Overall it’s good just not great.
Food and service were great until the bill came. Then we waited, and waited. And waited....for server to come back and take the credit cards. And they KNEW we had concert tickets.....
We were so disappointed with our meal at Vincenzo’s on 10/17. We walked in for our 5 PM reservation and our table wasn’t ready. People were scurrying about in the dining room, trying to prepare for dinner. We decided to sit at the bar while we waited. We made the 3rd and 4th customers there. The bartender ignored us, but finally noticed us several moments later and served us. Our drinks were fine. When we were finally seated, well after our reservation time, we were impressed with the decor of the dining room. That was the only good thing about our entire experience. Our waiter arrived at our table, and he was just so weird. In fact, everyone that came by our table didn’t seem like the type to work at a nice restaurant. This particular waiter was really inappropriate...talked like he was impersonating Adam Sandler, and kept saying strange things, like ‘my friend got me this job’. We couldn’t decide if he was trying to be funny or if he was serious. He pretty much made our whole meal awkward. Our food was pretty blah. We got the tortellini appetizer. It was fine. Not super impressive. I got the ravioli and my husband got the stuffed filet. The ravioli was decent...not great but not bad. The filet was pretty overcooked and gross. Veggies on the side were flavorless. We ordered a slice of cheesecake for dessert and it was just gross. It didn’t have a creamy texture at all. It was almost gelatinous. Then our $130 bill came. We felt ripped off. This restaurant just isn’t worth that kind of money and we won’t be back. There are much nicer places to eat at that price point. Disclaimer: We aren’t picky eaters, and I’ve never written a negative restaurant review. That’s how bad this place was. Consider yourself warned.
