Vincenzo Cucina Italiana Ratings and Reviews
Was in town for the KBIS show. We were seated within ten minutes of reservation time, even with the amount of crowd that night with KBIS going on. The waiter was extremely professional and friendly. He explained everything in great detail, especially the specials. He made them sound delicious just by his words. The service and food were outstanding. They offer many dinner choices and a variety of wines. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends.
Good restaurant but I don't recommend going there when there is a major convention in town. We had a waiter who had just joined the restaurant two days before. He was pleasant, tried hard but was new. The place was slammed with dinners. The calamari was rubbery and thefish was overcooked. Excellent bartender.
I would try it again when it wasn't so jammed.
Dined here during the busy KBIS show last Wednesday. Even though the place was packed, service was excellent, kitchen did a great job. Nice wine list. Cocktails well prepared and ample. House made Lemoncello was a hit and fun. Will definitely return next year.
One of the best, if not the best, Italian food I've had in a while... I ordered the Salmon with Penne pasta in Vodka sauce, a bottle (to share) of Sauvignon Blanc and a Nutella Cheesecake (also to share) and everything was just perfect. The salmon and the pasta were cooked perfectly, the sauce had the right consistency and flavor, the wine brought all the flavors together and the cheesecake was awesome! Felt like biting into a Nutella based cloud.
I will highly recommend it for any type of special occasions. The food, ambiance and service will be worth every penny.
Last minute reservation for my family of 9. Very wonderful experience! Our waiter was amazing in recommending dishes. The lobster risotto was very good. For anyone thinking about this restaurant or wanting a good italian restaurant around the Orlando Eye.. you will not regret it
Very disappointing. We chose this restaurant based on previous reviews. The restaurant seemed chaotic when we arrived. It took 10 minutes before anybody came to the hostess stand after I had to go looking for someone. We made reservations a week before. We were finally seated and took another 15 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. When asked questions about the menu he knew very little. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, bread and main courses. Again waited 20 minutes and was brought one drink. We continued to wait for the other drink, appetizer and bread for another 20 minutes. At this point we were frustrated and asked to speak to the manager. She basically told us the kitchen staff was in chaos and fighting and the restaurant was not prepared for type of people that were there that night. She complained there were too many children and too many special orders. The kitchen staff was overwhelmed and could not deal with it. She said we could leave if we wanted or continue to wait for what she called “an amazing meal”. We chose to wait for another 30 minutes and When the meals finally arrived from two other waiters since ours had deserted us, my dish came out ice cold. Clearly not an amazing meal! I sent my chicken Parmesan back and the second time came back burned. Do not waste your time eating at this restaurant . We left hungry, frustrated and very disappointed. Many more wonderful Italian restaurants in Orlando to choose from.
Horrible experience. Food arrived at our table one hour and forty minutes after we ordered. In addition they forgot one of the dishes. When we finally got food is was very bad. The marinara came our of a campbell can with lots of sugar. After all that management did nothing to compensate.
Not a place i would go back to.
I rated my overall experience a 1 star because the service was terrible. We were seated at 7:30 pm and did not get our meal until around 10:30 pm. We would have walked out, but there we not much option that last on Christmas Day. Our waiter kept saying that because the management were yelling at the waiters they were nervous and was not sending out food. When our food finally arrived, all our pasta was really al-dente. For my party of 9 people, we were very disappointed in our Christmas dinner.
I hope the manage will read this and improve there service and cook their pasta dishes properly and with flavor.
It’s always hard being away from home at Christmas and having to rely on reviews for your family Christmas dinner. This place went way beyond our expectations.
From the moment we walked in and was greeted by the lovely lady at the front desk to our fantastic waiter , we felt like we were home.
The food was amazing from the bread to dessert. The flavors burst in your mouth and for once we were all silent to busy enjoying the food to talk.
Whenever we are in the Orlando area, this will be the first restaurant we go to.
Thank you for making our Christmas dinner so special!
My experience was great if we are referring to the food. The service was not so great, our server was a young gentleman with light brown hair at first he seemed nice but then as the night continued so did his attitude. He wasn’t helpful in suggestions, we asked if the fettuccine was big enough for two to share and he said “I don’t know get it and you could figure it out”. By the end of our meal he was MIA forgetting my sisters drink order and my nephews dessert. Mind you we never got the dessert. I appreciated the piece of delicious cake they brought out for my mom (it was her birthday), but like I said the food was great that wasn’t my issue.
On a visit to Orlando we found this local gem. Restaurant ambiance was lovely, food was amazing, and the service was wonderful. Our waiter, Arnold, was very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating to special requests. The gnocchi was delicious -- very light and tasty. We would highly recommend this to locals, as well as anyone visiting the area. It's a great change of pace from chain restaurants.
Vincenzo's is a nice Italian restaurant in a convenient location on International Drive. The menu and the wine list had a lot of great options and is quite moderately priced. We had a large party, 10 people including children, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The restaurant offers parking and valet right in front, which is important to us because we were traveling with two disabled parents. The ambiance is very elegant inside and our server was patient, even with 2 families with small children.
We went to Vincenzo’s for my brother’s birthday. Being from New Jersey, my family and I are extremely picky on italian food. We were left in awe over everything. From the Super Sicilian wine to the veal chop to all the seafood, everything was fantastic. We will be back!
Took some time for someone to come over and seat us even though it was not busy. It was very loud with outside seating (our choice) but cars honking non-stop. Parking was an issue with no valet parking attendant. Food was great and our server was great which made the meal worthwhile.
Orlando is an area where restaurants can excel and generate repeat business or turn over the tourists and survive. Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was a big disappointment - we are locals but it appeared that many guests were from out of town. The bright side was that the drinks from the bar were good. However the entrees - two Filetos (filets) were poorly cooked - ordered medium and both were well done. We sent them back and the replacement meat was tough and without flavor. We actually did not even eat the filets. We brought the leftovers home and even our teenage boy would not eat it! Meanwhile our server was busy setting tables for the next day instead of being focused on any service recovery - we saw our drinks sit at the bar while the dining room clean up was occurring. There are so many restaurants in the area there is no reason to have a poor meal, whether you are a tourist or local.
