   The singular issue I had was the preparation of my steak. I asked for medium rare. When my steak arrived I believed it was on a more done side of medium rare to medium. I asked the server her opinion and while she offered to replace or get a manager I told her it was one of the best steaks I’ve had I just believed it may be slightly over cooked. Fast forward to end of meal, I had not finished even half of my $96 steak. The server took my plate, presumably to box up the remainder. However she never brought the leftovers back. I assume due to me questioning the preparation.

   I reserved a table for my fiancé’s birthday for 7:00 PM. Upon arrival, we were indirectly greeted and eventually seated after about 10 minutes. While our server was nice, she was clearly over-tasked and we didn’t get our drinks until 7:25. The appetizers and salads were ok, but nothing special. My fiancé ordered the “Kansas City Strip” with a lobster tail, which was cooked a perfect medium rare. Mine, the special of the night, was a 26 oz dry-aged, bone-in ribeye was overcooked and, for the price, a poor selection of cut. I’ve had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse. Since it was a special occasion, I opted not to make a scene and simply informed the server at the end of the meal. We were also brought an extra side that we did not order, but the server was kind enough to remove it from our bill. Overall, this was not the experience I would expect from a fine-dining establishment. Save yourself the trouble and go to one of the local supper clubs: better food for a third of the cost.

   Two of our young guests (over10 years old) wanted only kids portions but they refused to let them order off of kids menu. We had to order $42 lobster Mac and cheese so they could have Mac and cheese!! Brought wrong sides. $48 six ounce filet way overcooked. Not acceptable for a “steakhouse”. All sides served cold. Would not recommend.

   Time to take Lombardi’s off the list. Food was excellent, but service was at an all time low. Unbelievably terrible for a higher end restaurant.

   $69 steak was grissly with very little taste. Chicken was dry!

   This was my first experience at Vince Lombardi’s steakhouse. When we arrived, we waited 15 minutes to be greeted by anyone because the hostess was serving double duty also as a server as we learned later. At 6:30 we started with our hors d’oeuvres and waited until somewhere between eight and 830 before we finally got our main entrée. Our waiter Chase was very helpful and very professional, but the rest of the staff was obviously not on the same page. The food was quite good but the service to get the food to us and also after or trying to order two different bottles of wine that were not on the menu we settled for something we found after they brought out additional wine list. It’s unfortunate because this place could be very, very nice yet. We were extremely disappointed at this time I would not recommend spending the money to go there.     We were in town for the Charlie Barron concert, and the service was extremely slow
