Our Chefs have created a menu inspired by traditional Thanksgiving dishes while highlighting local ingredients. The four course prix-fixe menu is $135 per person, $55 for kids 12 & under, with optional wine pairings beginning at $60 per person (pricing excludes, gratuity, tax and SF mandate). We had a great experience! The restaurant is located in a small hotel with a vibrant atmosphere. The menu had a good variety of options for brunch and kitchen were responsive to food preferences/allergies and easily made accommodations. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is near the theater and made for a great stop before the show. We will likely return on our next visit to the area.

All of the staff members were warm, welcoming and attentive. The food was exquisite- delicious and gourmet with myriad, original blending of flavors from the seaweed butter and rolls to the mint zucchini soup to the halibut with black beans to the Chardonnay the server paired with our meal. A definite “must” for those seeking a wonderful experience for dinner. The playful and modern decor reflected the thoughtful cuisine. A perfect place to dine before seeing a show at the Golden Gate Theater.

The savory sandwiches were dry and had little flavor. The sweet treats were outstanding. One of the best scones I've ever eaten. Service was the worst I've ever experienced and ruined the experience. The staff were friendly and sweet once they came over, but the place wasn't really busy so it was frustrating. Basically had to yell for somebody to get attention, long wait times for food, and felt forgotten about. :(

The food was really excellent, the service impeccable all in an eclectic and interesting hotel. The Tenderloin is the only issue, but we were going to the theatre a block away.

Excellent all around. Every bite was special and delicious. Even our California Chardonnay was unique and flavorful just like the rest of the meal. We had two 3 course theater dinners and should have had one with an extra entree. Everything was exceptional especially the steak tartare and the stone fruit salad. Highly recommend!

This is a go-to pre theater dinner spot for us. But last night the shrimp on the seafood tower were old and had that terrible, bad seafood taste. The staff responded well but the thought of eating bad seafood still is offensive. Nobody sampled the shrimp before or during prep or they tried to slip one by us. The rest of the mean was quite good and the service was excellent. Chef: you must sample the food before sending it out!

Went for pre-theatre dinner for our anniversary and was surprised by how good it was. Creative starters and mains that were delicious and beautifully presented. My halibut was delicious and perfectly cooked- would order again. Staff had an anniversary note at our table and poured champagne when we sat down. Lovely touches that made a wonderful meal even nicer. Beautiful bar and ambiance- will definitely be back.

First time doing high tea here, overall a good experience. The food was great, especially the savory sandwiches (special mention for the cucumber one). The sweets tray was massive, so definitely bring your sweet tooth and your appetite! The green tea was fine enough. The only thing that was not fun was the very tight seating arrangements. We were literally next to another couple and could hear their very intimate conversation! There needs to be more distance between each table needless to say. Other than that it's good to have another place for high tea in SF.

An amazing pre-theater experience! We split the salad with toasted macadamia nuts and rhubarb dressing; each enjoyed the roasted chicken with fennel rice and coconut and the matcha cheesecake which was gluten free!!!!!! And the beignets with dipping sauces. After the show we came back for ice teas and a cheese sampler tray. Stunningly divine! We will be back!!!!!!!!

I went here before the show at the Theatre. The food was great and the cocktails were fantastic. It felt a bit pricy but was definitely still a worth while experience for the quality of the food! Definitely say it is a bit fancier though.

My daughter in law and I were there for a pre theater dinner and to belatedly celebrate her birthday. We ordered the 3course prix fixe dinner and everything was so delicious!! I got the little gem salad, the spring bean & artichoke stew and the panna cotta for dessert. My daughter in law enjoyed the beet salad, pork katsu and baked Alaska. Neither one of us was disappointed! Everything was beautifully plated, had amazing flavor and big portions!!! Not to mention how extremely personable, helpful and nice our waiter James was (and all the staff for that matter). Will definitely be back!!

Villon was such a pleasant surprise! Finding a restaurant close to the Orpheus is challenging! Villon is a perfect choice. The chef is amazing at delivering interesting and delicious combinations, the bar has great cocktails and the staff couldn’t be more obliging! We will be back!

I cannot recommend afternoon tea. The food was ok. They did serve clotted cream, which was lovely. The presentation was marginal. The service was terrible, I left a tip but was annoyed with myself for doing so.

We were seeing a show at the Orpheum after dinner, they did a good job allowing us a nice meal but also making sure we got out of the restaurant in time to catch our show. A very interesting and clever menu and cocktail menu. The food was excellent!

Tea was very good, and the sandwiches (4) were good. The egg salad with paprika was my favorite. The dessert portion was more (quantity) than the sandwich portion. The price point was a bit more than I expected. If you're looking for afternoon tea, there are better options that are cheaper and larger offerings of both tea other sandwiches.

Ordered from the brunch menu and it was great! Ordered several items, two of which were their most popular. Instead of talking about they are popular dishes. I want to make a note of the rice porridge. It is delicious and a must have.
