Me and my family enjoyed Villard very much. Get the steak and eggs!
Very expensive, excellent service and location.
I really loved it. Would recommend again.
coffee was cold, 3 pieces of cold bacon for $16
have been here before when everything was much better
The room was dark due to the limited windows and dark wood paneling. The noise level was okay; I would have preferred a quieter room.
Great place to have a Saturday or Sunday brunch especially if you like old world charm and European elegance. Just lovely.
We went to Vallard to celebrate one of our children's 18th birthdays. From start to finish, Shoyeb C. and the entire staff made this perhaps the nicest brunch we can remember! Not only was the meal fantastic, but the service was truly exceptional. Shoyeb personally chose the birthday cake, accommodated a rush meal request, and brought in a colleague to answer questions about the hotel's history. Moreover, the food was absolutely AMAZING. As promised, the roast chicken and the steak and eggs were incredible, and my husband said his Eggs Benedict were the best he has ever had. We truly can't wait to go back.
We had a spectacular Sunday brunch! The lemon ricotta pancakes and french toast were to die for and the eggs benedict had the best hollandaise I've maybe ever had! We will definitely be back!
Excellent service. French toast and Lemon Pancakes were delicious. Good value for NYC. Stunning room in a beautiful building. Will definitely come again and thoroughly recommend!
The staff here was very friendly, but the food was not great for how costly it was. Do yourself a favor, and grab a few bagels from the lotte hotel bakery, those were superb!
The Gallery Room is beautiful and the service is fabulous. The food looked prettier than it tasted, My tea was warm, but not hot and the avocado toast is better almost everywhere else. All that said, the experience was classic and I would try again.
Excellent food! The staff made the entire experience personal and were very accommodating. Will definitely be back!
They don't have a desert menu.
Beautiful environment and delicious food. A great NYC brunch!!
Arrived for an 8am table and had to wait 10 mins - service was v good and efficient and food good but $128 for breakfast (2 oatmeal’s with berries 2 juices 2 coffees) is ridiculous and then they try and pull the give you the check to sign without the itemized bill hoping you’ll add service again trick #ouch
Amazingly beautiful room with over a century of history! If only those walls could talk... Fox was spot on. Service was exemplary. A breakfast that cannot be beat
Our first time in NYC and we were staying at the Lotte so we decided to eat breakfast here. The restaurant is gorgeous and the lemon pancakes were to die for! Pricey but definitely worth it for the ambiance!
Everything was amazing and server was so sweet but they had a man walking around serving OJ & coffee, poured a cup of coffee for me after I even said no. Thought they were being generous until the bill came. We had almost $30 in drinks on our bill that we did not know we were being charged for (the prices were not on the menu either).
Beautiful with attentive service and style. Very pricey but a great experience with great food
Great place to have a business breakfast! Delicious food, attentive service and beautiful dinning room.
We had a very nice time, the food was wonderful and we saw a couple get engaged.
Great atmosphere, everyone was very attentive.
Until we see you again.
No flowers on the table, had to ask for water to be filled twice, waiter didn’t check up on us! For the money it cost for 2 for breakfast I would have expected better service.
The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is the service. And I’m not saying that the servers are not nice, lovely, friendly people. They are just slow as molasses. The ambience at this restaurant is beautiful and the food is unparalleled best brunch in New York City. Not huge portions, just perfect food.
Very poor service. High prices. Good food. Nice location.
Excellent place for weekend brunch. Nicola was a wonderful server too.
convenient for breakfast of staying at the Lotte New York Palace. However small portions with large price tag and the waiters aren't that attentive as their tip is already added on to your bill.
Needs greater diversity Of menu options other than just brunch
My daughters and I had brunch as part of a girls trip to NYC . All the entrees were delicious, and the Mimosas the best around
Bad over heated machine made cappuccino. Mediocre eggs Benedict. Great fast service
Totally disappointing experience here. Notified the restaurant when booking that we would be having breakfast on our wedding day here. Could not order two glasses of champagne because "someone else has the key" to the drinks cupboard. What a shambles. Paid $32 for four orange juices, which were basically half the size of a juice I would normally expect. Left feeling ripped off and not special in any way. Absolute disappointment.
Wonderful brunch at the holidays! Quiet for pleasant conversation and wonderful menu!
Beautiful location, wonderful atmosphere, excellent food.
Stumbled upon Villard last year for brunch after Mass at St Patrick's when in NYC for holiday weekend. Loved so much when had return weekend this year the Villard was a "must do" With my cousin and his wife.
Would go back again!
Nice to dine in the famous VILLARD mansion. Delightful
My daughter chose this restaurant to celebrate her 18th birthday with a special brunch. We arrived five minutes before our 11:30 reservation. They made us stand outside for a full 30 minutes past our reservation time. When they finally seated us, we could see there were several tables for four empty and available. Nevertheless, they seated us right next to two tables of unattended children under the age of seven. The parents were dining at their own table nearby. The children were loud, restless, and bored as their parents lingered at their own table. I felt like I was dining at Friendly's. Mini jars of jam and honey were available on the table, but the seals had been broken. They were sticky and used. That can't be sanitary. Service was slow, yet they were somehow there to clear my plate while I was still chewing my last bite. When the bill came, they had added a 15% service fee without mentioning it, which seems dishonest. A beautiful dining room, a delightful waiter, a fine menu, could not overcome our awful experience.
Wonderful spot for brunch. Love all the wood and decorations.
We had a great breakfast here. Expensive but well worth it. The setting is beautiful.
Really disappointing breakfast - building and restaurant looks lovely but the food so mediocre . Had to send back sausages twice as raw , tea arrived when we were leaving and the waitress still charged us 15 % tip although she did not charge us for the sausages which we could not eat as raw !
