   We often eat at Villagio and generally are very happy with the food, service and ambiance. We are very disappointed with the new menu however. All the veal items (our favourites) have been taken off the menu! How can they call themselves an Italian restaurant? Please put veal back on the menu!!!

   We have dined here at least 8 times in last 3 years. Always excellent, service, food and atmosphere. Unfortunately this time they dropped the ball. Service was very slow. No bread was brought for 45 minutes excuse was they were waiting for fresh bread to bake. When it did arrive it was not fully cooked. Very doughy Dinners took approximately 1 hour to arrive after ordering. No reason was given as to slow service. Food arrived and was for the most part good. Exceptions were the pizza was undercooked and doughy. The pasta that accompanied the chicken Parmesan was cold. Asked 3 times to speak to the manager. He finally arrived with a huge piece of cake on a plate. I spoke to him about my concerns and he immediately said “I will comp the entire dinner” he then just walked away. The server came by a minute later and said “entire dinner is comped have a nice evening “ and walked away. Funny I was just trying to offer my criticism of a restaurant I thoroughly enjoy. I wasn’t looking for free dinner. Handled very poorly and unprofessionally by manager and server. Perhaps they need to remember that customers who complain or offer criticism really want to come back and want your business to succeed.

   We will definitely return . Excellent Italian food . Service efficient and friendly . However, there is a musty smell throughout restaurant that needs to be addressed.

   We absolutely loved this place. After reading some of the mixed reviews, some of the negatives were the prices as well as some of the "attitudes" from the staff. From our experience, there was absolutely no complaints and the staff was amazing. We will definitely be back!

   Food and service were excellent. Hostess decided to train new hire on the seating system features when we arrived. This should have been done after we were seated. Villaggio is very dated but this just ended up adding to it's charm. Would definately go back next time we are in the area.

    Overall everything was great. We were only disappointed that we ordered an item off the specials menu and were regretful we didn’t ask the price. We were shocked at the price tag for the fra diablo pasta dish ( which we have frequently at intakian restaurants). The other items on the menu seemed modestly priced so we never imagined how expensive this would be. We also felt that 8$ for a small dinner salad was quite high. Otherwise service, ambiance and food was on point!!
