Great food and beverages. Friendly staff and the food came out quick. Top 10 burger I have ever had.

Put at a table up against waiter station and bathrooms facing a solid white tile wall. Looked like we were IN the bathroom. Server never showed any emotion or any interest in being there.
Food was decent - I remembered it being much better. Lamb burger was tough. Drinks are very expensive.

Part of the fun of village whiskey before was getting a coveted seat at the bar so that magic is lost now that they have spread into the space that was formerly tinto. The kitchen may still be working out some kinks as both people in our party ordered burgers but the temperature was medium-well despite requesting medium rare.

This place use to have a nice vibe. But the host took me to another room and the ambient vibe was not there. It felt really off like i was not at village whiskey that I remembered.

Felt very safe. Good distance between tables. First time eating indoors in past year. Great burgers, apps and drinks!

Delicious food and great setting!

Great girls night spot. The happy hour drinks & snacks were on point. Very delicious, our waitress was so nice, informative and attentive. We definitely will be back

The food and service are great! I love the fried pickles/ they have the best tater tots I've ever had.

Great cocktails

Village Whiskey's expanded dining room is awesome; felt safe and distant from everyone else dining there. Turkey smashburger was delicious, and so was the cocktail of the month!

Great place, food, drinks and service.

Food very good. Expected to sit in the bar area but was seated next door. Wasn’t the usually cozy feel.

I sat outside, and it was slightly cold (not their fault). The burger with the blue cheese and foie gras was incredible, as were the fried pickles.

My second time at VW, service selection and food were outstanding both times. In a competitive Philly food scene, an outstanding option.

Food was solid. A few serving mistakes but the server was nice and made up for them.

This was my second time at the Whiskey ever, and this time was even better than my first. So far, the best burger I’ve had in Philly (and I’ve had a few!). And the extensive library of whiskies and bourbons is amazing. Definitely a place I will always return to when I’m in town.

I have nothing bad to say about Village Whiskey, their food and cocktails are delicious and they are doing the best they can with the outdoor seating arrangements!

The whiskey was outstanding but was disappointed with the food. With all the great spots in Philly, would definitely recommend here for a drink or whiskey flight, but not the food.

Nice outdoor space.

I love Village Whiskey; the food and cocktails are really delicious. My friends and I had the burger of the month (this one had an amazing pumpkin aioli on it!), and it was cooked perfectly! Service was a little bit slow, but the restaurant was super busy. Will definitely be going back the next time I am in the mood for a burger!

Service was a little slow but nothing I can’t forgive under the circumstances. Excellent drinks, as you’d imagine. Burger cooked perfectly which is hard to find.

This review is bad only for our experience. We had reservations for 5:30 and got there around 5:10. We would’ve been happy to wait till 5:30 but they offered us a table right without an umbrella. Just a table. I asked if we could have a different table. We got one. In the street. At a horrible intersection. Not thrilled with it but decided to try since we heard such good things about VW. After a car swerved to avoid hitting a bicyclist, we jumped and asked if there was any other table. Unfortunately there wasn’t. So the service that we did receive was fine. We had one drink and left. I’m sure if it weren’t for stupid COVID-19, I’d have had a better review for sure! I do thank the staff for trying to accommodate. I wonder if the table without an umbrella was our “reservation” table. I don’t think so. Anyhow, disappointed in how this turned out. Now we had to find another place without a reservation on a Saturday night.

Food was delicious. The buffalo cheese curds was a huge hit with the complete party. The buffalo sauce is on the side so get it however you feel about buffalo sauce. The short rib fries were good. The meat was fabulous and tender but overall a rich dish one has to pace themselves through.

There seemed to be a shortage of wait staff during our visit - had to wait .25+ minutes for drinks and just for the wait staff to come back to us in general. Outside of that, the food + drinks were tasty. Will be back for another try. Burger - SUPER Delish. Pigs in the Blanket = could eat all day long. Fried Shrimps - A MUST.

Staff didn't help the customers deal with the public bothering them on the street. I don't know if that is their job but it would have been nice for the staff to help deal with unwanted attention.

Service was awful. Waitress didn’t want to give us a particular table and couldn’t come up with a reason why. The whole thing was dumb. Food was unimpressive. Never going back

Waitress was great and attentive, food came out fast. Great Happy Hour option, drinks were expertly crafted. Got the Philadelphia Fishbowl and was so good, have already recommended to friends.

Everything was perfect in regards to our service and food. My only gripe is that I reserved a high top, but instead was seated at a low, sloping table.

The food was delicious, the whiskey was even better like I thought you know I was getting or drinking good whiskey before but that was premium whiskey the service was good the only issue was it was outdoor dining it wouldn’t it was a little chilly but I would definitely recommend the restaurant and I would definitely go there again
