I throughly enjoyed it. We went during restaurant week.The menu was what got me. It was 40 and included a drink. I had the popcorn shrimp for my appetizer they were very good. I had the Village Burger which was excellent one of the best burgers I have ever had. The whiskey drink was very good. I am to get another reservation before restaurant week ends.

We went there to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our server, Sergio, went above and beyond to make it a memorable and fun night. The food was delicious. My husband had the King Burger and short ribs french fries. My burger was tasty, one of the best I’ve had in the city. Our drinks were reasonably priced and so good. I highly recommend Village Whiskey

We’ve enjoyed dining at VW in the past. This experience was terrible. The cocktails and wine were fine. Then the server brought our 2 appetizers literally at the same time as our 2 entrees. She checked-in on us multiple times w/out stopping for a response — perhaps too busy drinking the cocktail in her hand. She was clearly inebriated. She brought our check while we were still eating — not at our request, so we wondered if the restaurant was closing early at 8 p.m. because it was so empty. Then 5 min later, she asked if we’d like our check — again, still eating. We told her she’d already brought the check, and she expressed surprise. She’d forgotten that she’d done so. In addition to the poor service, $14 for two slices of fried green tomato? One sliver of grilled peach and prosciutto on the stone fruit prosciutto toast? And my fish (and accompanying potatoes) was greasy, drowning in butter and oil and smelled and tasted fishy and not remotely fresh. My fault for ordering fish on a Monday.

Best burger I ever had. Great cocktails. Service was great. Noisy in general. Otherwise really nice atmosphere. Will be going back for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, however the table we were sat at felt like we were shoved in a corner. We had to ask for place settings and one of our drinks 2x.
