One of the employees - I’m assuming she was the manager…banana clip, curly hair, glasses - ruined most of our experience. She was overwhelmed, exasperated and rude most of the time we were there, clearly unable to handle her job. We spent no longer than 75 minutes at our table for two, had two whisky flights, three cocktails and three menu items between us and she acted like every table of two there had overstayed their welcome. I don’t know if the booking system had issues or what, but she inconvenienced several customers rather than just handling herself. Also, to add insult to injury - our food took longer than it should according to our waiter, who said they overcooked the bread. We were understanding and not disturbed by this. Our prosciutto and stone fruit toast also did not come out as ordered. I asked for the onions on the side, as I don’t like onions. Anyway, I wasn’t even put off by these things - what food we did get as ordered and our cocktails were amazing. The inconsiderate and unprofessional worker is what ruined it all.

It was quiet on a Sunday evening. We were excited to benefit from the happy hour specials. All of our food was delicious, drinks were fantastic, and our service was attentive, polite, and happy to offer suggestions and answer questions. All around great experience!

I went here with my friends to celebrate my birthday, and we all raved about it afterwards. We're so happy we found this place. The candlelit tables and old library feel of the dining room is gorgeous and makes it perfect for a romantic date night. As whiskey enthusiasts, one friend and I were pleased with their happy hour old fashioned, and I'd love to try a flight or some of their nicer bourbons and ryes sometime. The burgers are good, but huge, and they fall apart. Two of my friends got the short rib and cheese fries and loved that as their dinner. I'll definitely be back for date night sometime or to celebrate another special occasion.

Village Whiskey never fails to disappoint! It's one of the best burgers I've ever had, consistently! Have been going for years, but this was the first time in a while. They now have two separate spaces, one for the bar and the other for the restaurant. This time we also went with a 2 month old, and the restaurant was able to easily and ahppily accomodate our request for a table with space for a stroller next to it so we could rock our little one if he woke up. Highly highly recommend, amazing food, including a Happy Hour that is also there on weekends, great drinks, great service, etc! But definitely do yourself a favor if you eat meat, and GET A BURGER!!!

Really enjoyed the village burger (great dressing) and found my mocktail just okay. The interior gives dark academia vibes and the environment is cozy. Great service. Would be great if fries didn’t have to be ordered separately.
