   Food was very tasty we had 3 course carvery every 1 off our party said same thing that the beef carvery was warm when served So could do with been bit warmer

   Me and my husband had a lovely meal and our table was booked and the barman even brought a big valentine balloon over to us to have our photos taken. A wonderful evening all in all.

   Took some family members (7) for carvery at 4pm Sunday. Starters dried up , soup wouldn’t come out of jug so had to remove lid & tip out . Just a lump of cold congealed mess . Bread rolls rock solid. Main was equally terrible , end of dried up turkey (server apologised) ham fatty and no beef. Veg and potatoes soggy and just leftover from early in the day . So greasy and cold . All got left . There was a table with breakfast food on it , ie, croissants, jam . Seeded muffing and granola. This is what my two grandsons ate . We complained to server , he laughed and said yes it’s left over from breakfast! Never ever in my 60 years have I had such an embarrassing and inedible meal . I’ve never ever left a negative comment on any site before but this was totally unacceptable. I’ve sent an email but not sure if I’ve sent it correctly. We spent a great deal of money on this meal and had to take the children to a fast food outlet on the way home . I was very upset as I had chosen this venue & felt very upset & embarrassed by the whole experience. Needless to say we won’t be returning or recommending this carvery experience. Someone seriously needs to look at the quality of food . Potatoes , supposedly roast where just white in colour and covered in grease . There was maybe 10 potatoes in the server and there was 7 of us in our party but we asked and told there wasn’t any more . Why we stayed I do not know . Several days later I cannot stop thinking about this meal and feel incredulous that we didn’t ask for a refund, probably just much to polite to do so .

   Food selection ie starter and majn not ss good ad use to be. Also the vibe and feeling not there with eating in bar area and not restaurant

   Food delicious and reasonable. we all had burgers and fries £10. Nice dips and coleslaw. Drinks too expensive-£3 for a weak flavoured coke. Noisy for our visit as football was on tv, but nice surroundings.

   Came for an early birthday treat food was lovely and worth the money the childrens meals looked more like an adults.staff where lovely and friendly

   We thought we had booked a table in the restaurant but it was shut so we were seated in the pub part with no explanation as to why!? It was very noisy and the steak I had was terrible. Myself and partner had gone for an overnight stay and a nice meal but the meal part of it spoilt it for us 😕

   We attended breakfast with Santa 15/12, with our 3 grandchildren. the breakfast was cold and of a poor quality, the whole event was badly organised. why not let a table at a time go up for the buffet, rather than what was madness, we waited patiently rather than queue with our plate, probably why our breakfast was cold. The male elf needed a larger size costume. the tightness of his leggings was not appropriate for a family event. Unfortunately we had booked for dinner later and the children's parents joined us, the restaurant noise level was unbearable and again found the food to be of a poor quality. None of this was good value for money. we wont be returning.

    Not a carvery anymore! & it is in the bar now! Used to love the carvery in the restaurant! Staff weren't dressed very smart & 1 smelt of b.o! Won't be going back ever!
