Favorite spot for us. Exceptional food and service with a 5 star wine list
This was our first visit. Food and service was excellent. Very cozy atmosphere.
Always a good choice.
My wife and I enjoy dining here for special occasions. We enjoy the rustic ambiance, the quality and value of the meal and the host always makes sure that each diner feels welcome. We truly appreciate the quality of service we receive on each of our visits.
The food is always delicious, drink menu is equally solid. Service is great, atmosphere is awesome. Best Italian food in Tulsa hands down!!
We just love the Lemoncello shot but this time also tried the Lemoncello Mule and the Lemoncello martini. The Mule is similar to the Moscow Mule but WAY better. I had the tortolloni and just loved it. I mean it was fantastic. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there and are vegetarian so our options are limited but we both enjoyed our dinner very much. Our waiter, Peter, was on top of bread, water, herb oil the whole time. He was helpful, pleasant, and a fantastic waiter. I love tipping too much when deserved and this guy got 25%. Definitely going back as soon as we can find a reason.
We dined at Villa Ravenna for our wedding anniversary and the service, food and drinks were top notch, as always.
My husband and I went here last night for our 1st anniversary dinner after hearing good things from several friends and family. It was DELICIOUS! Our waiter, Anthony, was so nice and knowledgeable. The wine was amazing! My husband ordered chicken Marsala and I had an angel hair with garlic, olive oil, sautéed spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes. Both were wonderful! They also had a sweet happy anniversary card at Our table signed by all the staff. We will definitely return!!!
Food was good and wait staff was very attentive . Nice ambience.
The food and service were excellent. Great selection of wines. Good deserts. My son and husband had 2 different specials and said they were great. Our waitress was fantastic. I ordered a mule drink that was too sweet and she took it off our bill and brought me a beer.
I read some online reviews to try and find a nice restaurant to take my wife too. This came up and had good reviews so we gave it a shot. We were both disappointed. We are well traveled, including Italy, and this place seemed to have promise. The first let down was the bread brought to the tables. This same bread can be bought at your local Walmart. It is precut and all you need to do is add the butter and garlic for flavor. The “fresh” mozzarella was also the same that you can buy at the market. Round and presliced. The noodles appeared to be house made but slightly undercooked. The veal parmigiana was tough and could not be cut with a fork as it should be. The service was great and the staff worked well together.
Upon arriving, I noticed the front of house staff was all kinds of confused.
Hostess and servers double seating customers, the hostess stand left empty for long periods of time, people being ignored, stuff like that.
I got there a little before my date so when I was offered a table I took it because, who knows if I'd have ever been seated before 10pm.
Once seated it got really funny, really fast.
The kid that brought out the water/bread OBVIOUSLY didn't want to be there.
Like, at all.
I'm sure he's good at what he does, but he made it clear he'd rather be elsewhere.
The waiter, nice as he was, was a "close talker".
He got RIGHT UP in our faces to take our order.
It was both frightening, and hilarious.
Besides the, uhm, "distracted" service the food itself was fantastic.
My date and I both got the Fettuccine Alfredo with Scallops, Lobster, and Shrimp.
It was pure heaven.
We discovered that if you wanted another drink, it was better to order 2 at a time because the bar is slow.
Drinks, good ,but take too long.
You should go, but don't expect the staff to really care if you're there or not.
Was a GREAT Valentine's Day treat! Great food, service, & ambiance was amazing! Nice little getaway in Tulsa.
Very disappointed with our Valentine dinner. They have no bartender so our waiter made our drinks and they were not good. I had the lamb and it was too tough to chew. Prosciutto appetizer was also very tough. Meanwhile the owner stood by and did nothing. Have had good meals here in the past but Valentines was a bust.
Food is wonderful and authentic. Service was not good at all on this visit. Would recommend but not on Valentines or a special holiday service was poor and unfriendly and it really was not that busy. Had to ask for most everything and waited forever for drinks. Value was not there for us either very over priced! For this expense I expect exceptional service.
Our server was very polite and attentive. The food was delicious! However, we were in the very back room and felt like it was the overflow room. At the end of our meal servers where polishing glassware and talking bad about other tables loudly for us to hear. One was an older lady and when another server tried to shhhhh her to be quieter she said “I don’t care who hears me”. This room was also so cold my husband had to go grab a coat from my car, and I wore it the entire meal.
My husband and i are very busy people and don’t get nice dates out often, so it’s a shame when an expensive dining experience is ruined by an employee who wasn’t even a direct part of our dinner.
The food, ambiance, and staff are all excellent. Our favorite waitress, Cheryl, always recommends great wines and cocktails that pair with our meals. This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Tulsa, OK
This restaurant has a great service! Very intimate place and the food is really good.
I have eaten at this restaurant multiple times. The food is always great. Unfortunately on my last visit my wife and I were seated next to a large and rowdy group. It was a bit too noisy for us to score 5 stars on our last visit.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. Seated right away. Menu had quite a few choices for vegetarians. I had an idea of what I wanted, but I listened to the specials of the evening and there was a dish described that sounded good, so I went with it. There was a dish that looked similar to it on the menu for about $14. Ordered a caprese salad as well, it was alright, not bad, but not amazing either.
Food arrives. I was immediately jealous of my wife’s dish. I took my first bite and it was just bland. Fresh Parmesan was not offered right away. The vegetables in it tasted like frozen California medley was tossed in it. Not impressed. I think I was most frustrated when I received the check. Since it was a “special” it was double the price as the similar dish on the menu. The special was originally a shrimp dish, but they subbed the shrimp for mushrooms but kept the price at $30 for a $15 dish.
I’ve heard good things about this place, and my wife’s dish was good. I know I chose the wrong dish, but it was still disappointing. I should have let them make me something else, but I didn’t want to make a “thing” about it.
We might go back, but will order from the menu. No “specials” for me.
Early valentine dinner
It was very nice but they did not see my note the reservation was for 3 and had a table for 2 in a corner but other than that it was an amazing dinner.
Very nice restaurant! Wife and I loved this place and look forward to going back!
It was amazing food we enjoyed all of it the appetizer, dinner, and dessert it was top-notch service and great food
My favorite restaurant in Tulsa. Delicious homemade Italian food.
Villa Ravenna is the best fine dining restaurant in Tulsa. The menu is excellent. The wines are all excellent. Service snd ambiance are excellent. Sergio and staff are professional. Yani is a master chef. Always outstanding!
We we're celebrating a friend's 70th Birthday and the experience was over the top !
First time there. Will be back. Knew restaurant was there but didn’t know it was a fine dining establishment.
Always great food, service and accommodating! Sergio and his staff are wonderful!
Food was really good as usual. Our server seemed a little overworked and the service was a little slow.
This is by far the BEST Italian restaurant in Tulsa! This is the place my husband and I choose to go when we know we want a fantastic meal and we have never been disappointed. We can try new things or stick with the “usual” and it is always delicious! The desserts are amazing as well!
We have been to Villa Ravenna many times and it's always been an enjoyable evening with friends and family. I felt the server though very knowledgable and attentive was a little distant and quick to get our order and disengage our table. It was later in the night so staff was probably ready to wrap up the evening..but overall we enjoyed our visit.
Villa Ravenna is a real find in Tulsa. The wine list is unusually good for the territory, service is professional, very knowledgeable, you can tell they're proud of the fare and well trained. Everything we ordered was really tasty and well presented.
Always my favorite and still my favorite. Just love this Tulsa Gem!
We came after seeing a Tulsa World article on the top 10 restaurants in Tulsa. Our friends come on a regular basis so we knew it was at the very least good. We were greeted by an attentive hostess and seated right away. We ordered a wonderful cabernet and others mixed drinks. wonderful. Food was outstanding & service wonderful overall. I ordered the calamari and pears gorgorz to start. Osso buco (sp?) and other othered dishes that looked mouth-watering. We had a great time with our friends and we will definitely return soon.
New Years Eve date night. We have been married 44 years menu had very nice choices for any age. Wonderful wine and cocktails. No complaints about anything. We were 15 or 20 minutes ahead of our reservation time but was seated immediately.
Decent Osso Bucco. A bit over cooked. It should fall off the bone but not disintegrate into a pile of stew. The risotto was over cooked. The grilled pears were hard as rocks. Definitely not ripe.
Food was fantastic, wine list was above most and the waiter was fun and knowledgeable.
Delicious meal. Right sized portions, varied menu. Our waiter was pleasant, but seemed a bit nervous. Ordering was awkward for some reason. The restaurant could also use some updated lighting. Our table in the corner was very dim, hard to read the menu. Candles were only lit at tables where people were seated. Instead of romantic, the lighting was lacking. Subtle and strategic lighting would help make the atmosphere a bit more elegant and welcoming.
Always a favorite!
