Villa Peru Modern Peruvian Cuisine
Loved everything. Pisco cocktails, appetizers and main course... all were EXCELLENT.
Excellent quality calamari (app) --- there is a LOT of bad fried calamari out there. So theirs is a treat. Seafood side of the menu somewhat superior to the 'meaty' side.
The food was truly excellent. A great sauce on the chicken dish with great texture. The beefsteak was so tender and flavorful. The fried plantains were incredible! Service was really pleasant and efficient. We sat outside for COVID distancing and felt very comfortable. The cocktails were unique and well prepared. The wine list was very interesting, with some AZ wines. We had an AZ Petit Verdot that was listed as a dessert wine. It wasn't really a dessert wine but was excellent.
Awesome Food! Highest level of service in Tucson. Live Music.
Very good ceviches, very fresh and a good variety of food.
Excelent service with a great attitude to assist you.
Will go there again.
The music made for a fun, festive atmosphere. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and she patiently explained the different platters to us.
Delicious and unique! I love this place! They regularly change the menu up too which allows us to try new things!
Great peruvian food and Piscoe sours. A little pricey but worth it!
Villa Peru is amazing!!! The ceviche is the best.
This is our 2nd visit to the Villa and will make this a definite go-to when in the area. It’s a family run eatery with traditional flavors in all of their foods. We always try a new ceviche as they have a dozen to choose from. It’s a great experience and this week I’m bringing 10 of my friends who have not dined there in for the experience. When you go, say hi to Frieda.....
My wife and I LOVE this restaurant! We live in Phoenix and we used to eat at the restaurant when it was in Phoenix. Sometimes we travel down to Tucson to hike and we always stop and eat at Villa Perú. The food is delicious. We’ve traveled to Peru several times and the ceviches from Villa Peru are some of the best we’ve ever had. My only concern is that a 5 Star review will make the place too popular and we won’t be able to get in.
They even have a young man who plays Bruno Mars hits on the violin. It sounds odd but it actually makes for a lovely dining experience.
Amazing venue and food!! Our server Shem was terrific and helped make our evening even better!
Villa Peru is a must dine in experience. We love everything about this place. It is small and quaint. Great bar. The food is out of this world, presented beautifully and prepared to perfection. Service is impeccable. Servers are friendly and engaging and will educate you to the menu options. Live violinist on weekends who plays beautifully and is a plus! I insist on taking all my friends and family who haven't been. And they all concur...Villa Peru is amazing!!
Are favorite place in Tucson hands down !! We love you Fredia!!!
The ceviche was excellent! The service was amazing! If you like ceviche, this is a must.
We sat outside and were the only ones out there (it was over 90 so other people opted to be inside so I can’t say what the noise level would be if there were others outside. It was excellent. I had ceviche and seafood soup, my husband had a beef dish with beans. All really good. We will definitely be back.
Staff was very friendly. Started with an excellent appetizer that was recommended by the server. All of our meals had a nice presentation and tasted great. Will return soon.
The food was amazing. Really brought back some wonderful memories of the food I enjoyed in Peru. Highly recommend the ceviche.
First visit. We enjoyed it so much. The ceviche is wonderful.
Amazing food and place 👍🏻
Wonderful experience. Cuisine, cocktails, service, and atmosphere were all incredible. Definitely will be back soon. Many thanks
We arrived 15 minutes after the reservation time and were told that the kitchen had already been closed. The owner asked us to order quickly if we want to eat, I told her we would come back at a time that works better for them and she said that’s fine. We went to dine elsewhere.
Love this spot! Great for date night. Friendly staff, very clean atmosphere.
This was first time going to Villa Peru. Food and drinks were wonderful as well as great service.
Villa Peru is simply excellent: great food, great service, great ambiance. This was our first venture out to a restaurant since restrictions lightened (though we got takeout from here a couple of times during shelter-in-place in hopes that we could help ensure they would weather the restrictions on dining-in). We will continue to be loyal patrons of this great locally-owned restaurant. We are seafood fans, so enjoy their seafood dishes and excellent appetizers. Nice cocktail and wine lists, too.
It was excellent the staff was friendly and they gave my daughter flan for a graduation dessert. We love the food there especially their ceviche festival dishes.
The food was outstanding. Service was excellent. Violin player was nice. It was great to out.
Wow! What a fantastic experience tasting new and unique Peruvian cuisine. We enjoyed the sampler platter and ceviche. Good wine selection and pairs well with the menu, maybe a little over priced (approx 3 Xs retail).
The food is amazing. Fabulous ceviches and the paella was delicious. Great cocktails and a good wine list. I would highly recommend.
Very good food and service. Our first visit after being recommended by friend. Long narrow dining area, very cool decor, cozy bar area.
They offer many variations and sampler platters to try all the Peruvian delicacies. Wish more of he menu was translated into English so we didn’t need to ask server so many questions.
We have eaten at Villa Peru twice so far. Every time the food is very good and always fresh. Service is attentive and very pleasant. Happy hour is great. Pisco Sours are delicious. Ceviche Festival on weekends are wonderful.
Hidden Gem. It is hard to find but it is hidden by Seis Kitchen patio, so do not miss it. It is worth the drive! I drive 35-40 minutes to get there.
Soooo good! Authentic Peruvian food in Tucson! Closest thing to actually going to Peru! Food and service was excellent!
Dinner was just ok, maybe a little over priced for the quality. What ruined our evening was being hurried out of the restaurant at closing. They brought out the bleach buckets, turned on all the lights and made rude comments from the bar. There were 2 other tables still finishing their meal when we left. Terrible service and we won’t be coming back!
very busy place (bit noisy) due to holiday but fast, accurate, friendly service.
The first course (appetizer) and the dessert were excellent. The main courses were ok — chicken was dry and could have also used more sauce; the lamb chop was very small and again, could have used more sauce/gravy.
Been there numerous times, always great but this time off the charts good. Valentines Day dinner selections were outstanding. Try anything on menu it’s all good and service is excellent!
Valentines dinner was great altough we would have loved to ahve order off of the regular dinner menu.
First time visiting. Food and service was excellent.
Valentines Day lunch
Food was outstanding. Had a bit of wait even with reservations, which was probably due to gem show being in town. Treated well in response. Would definitely recommend!
