VILLA EUROPA RESTAURANT brings together the flavors of Europe and North America, with emphasis on German and Italian. One of the things that keeps people coming back here are the daily specials. These could be appetizers like a potato or cauliflower soup or an entrée like the broiled sea bass medallion roasted with citrus butter, served with steamed vegetables and roasted red potatoes. Villa Europa's regular dinner menu has several fantastic dishes as well. Guests can start with French onion soup, escargot bourguignon, Bavarian fritters, marinated herring, cold smoked rainbow trout and many more small plates. The rest of the menu is split between German, Italian and international favorites. Maybe a Jägerschnitzel with German potato salad, chicken parmigiana, baked lasagna, or a fan favorite, the Prime Rib. We have 7 cozy dining rooms, each with its own personality, that can be also booked for private events, a Bier Garten and Bar area which is a favorite spot for many regulars.

Had St Patrick’s Day dinner. The Irish fare was really good. Corned beef possibly the best I’ve had. All our party had a wonder evening. The exterior especially the sign definitely needs sprucing up. I have driven passed it and thought it was closed like so many in that area. We’ll worth the trip!

The food was excellent, as always! They service was untypically rough! They were understaffed because someone didn't show up for work. The waitress did a good job picking up the slack and gave us pleasant service. We have been to Villa Europa many times over the years and certainly plan to go back!

Our server Lee was very attentive & outstanding. The food was however terrible. The escargot was extremely salty & fishy. The shrimp fettuccine was very bland. The ranch dress tasted sour like it was going bad. The potato soup was gritty and was more a puréed texture. We won’t be back but again were very pleased with our server who did his very best.

Kittys a terrible waitress. Medium well steak, came out medium rare (even had the plastic stake that says so). Had to ask for refills, never brought a requested water. I love Villa Europa, been going since it was Roman Villa. But nothing seemed very good last night, which is unusual. Hope it’s better next time.

The food is always excellent! I do wish they would spend some money on building refresh or maintenance. The building is WAY behind on updates. It feels old and grundgy. The staff are always pleasant and efficient. The food always excellent! Or else we wouldn't bother to drive across town

A little disappointed that we were celebrating my husband's birthday and other than the hostes wishing him a happy birthday it was not mentioned anymore. We were not even offered a dessert menu. I did say in my reservation that we were celebrating his birthday.

The waitress was awesome! I went to Villa Europa for my birthday dinner with my mom and some friends. The waitress had a lot of experience with those bells, for sure. I probably didn’t look to enthused when she was playing the bells, but I had a rough morning because one of my pets unfortunately passed away. Overall, the experience was great!

We have been eating at Villa Europa for almost 40 years -- we lived in Augusta (actually Columbia County) for 6 years in the 80's, and I've been back on business trips and personal trips many times. I'm delighted to report that Villa Europa is still as good as it ever was.

Generally this place is awesome. Great atmosphere and the food is fantastic. The Escargot have always been the best in Augusta. Not tonight though. Sadley not only were they cold but one of the plates of Escargot did not have any seasoning or butter on it. While the waitress offered to take it back, we did not want to make any waves. But then we got our meals. My husband had the Jagersnitzel with the rich mushroom brown gravy . The sauce was beef broth. Beef broth1 We have ate this before and know the meal. I had the chicken fettuccini alfredo. Their homemade alfredo sauce is INCREDIBLE. I enjoyed that. But I did not enjoy the massive amount of paprika over the entire dish. We had to ask the waitress if the restaurant was under new management, but the food was terrible. I know that if the owner was here, they would never have let this meal go out. Will we be back? YES! One bad meal will not keep us from coming. I just hope their wonderful Escargot are back to normal next time. :) Even though a rating of 3, I would still recommend this to anyone.
