Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse - Atlanta
I was very disappointed with the food. Salad dressing was watery and had no taste. Chicken Marbella was dry and tasteless. It is a beautiful place but will not go back.
As always a great experience. Friendly, attentive staff, great service
Wonderful evening. Restaurant was sparsely attended which was great for the noise level. Menu rather skinny, but 3 of our 4 selected the special, shrimp in pasted, which was great. I had the salmon, with a great helping of olive tapenade. Al together, a great meal. Beautiful restaurant.
Valet parking was fine, after we went inside to rustle up an attendant.
We'll be back.
Very limited menu. They seem to be in between head chefs. The menu items were delicious but not what I expected from this restaurant. The only pasta dishes were lasagna and gnocchi. There were 3 steak dishes. Service was great. I hope they get back on track soon.
Father’s Day and Birthday celebrations
Villa Christina is ALWAYS in Vogue- Super for Groups, Meetings or brunch
Wait staff was fabulous and the food was delicious as always! Covered parking and access to the restaurant was convenient!
Excellent service from our server, Summer, to the manager from Finland. The food was delicious and we had an awesome time.
We had a business lunch the week prior and we all got the buffet which was great. We then had a breakfast meeting (best kept secret in Perimeter!!!) and the buffet was equally good. I asked for any turkey or non-pork sausage and although they didn't serve it, a few minutes later the Chef came out with 4 delicious chicken sausages!! Now, that's service! Wait staff was terrific.
I come to Villa Christina quite often for special occasions and in the past have enjoyed the food, but this past Mother’s day buffet was overpriced for the food that was served. I believe this is their 3rd executive chef for the year and the food was very bland and dried out (especially the prime rib) and hardly had any seafood options besides cocktail shrimp and very small salmon pieces.
Amazing Mother’s Day Brunch! Very impressive with the variety of offering. Service is always outstanding. No waiting and enjoyed a leisurely brunch. Highly recommend for special occasions like Mother’s Day, Easter, etc. Fantastic place for a business lunch, as well.
The menu has a very small selection. I was so looking forward to treating my family for what used to be a great dining experience. The menu is less then half of what it once was. What we ordered was good but would have ordered something else given a choice. We were told the last chef who has since quit was responsible for the change. I would not go back until they have a proper menu.
Ps the service was great and the staff very humble
The quality of the food was disappointing. Our service was nice. I had not been to this restaurant in some time but it is not what it use to be.
Great lunch buffet!! Will go there more often. Also beautiful patio for after work.
Service was utterly fantastic. Great spot for special date, or even with kids (during the week) as they can enjoy the outdoors while you get to dine inside!
Terrific service and absolutely delicious food! I have held several business meetings at Villa Christina and continue to be impressed with our experience. I will be back!
VC put out inflatable house and slide for the kids at Easter! Easter eggs in hiding for the kids were replenished. Great buffet!
It was our 27th anniversary. We stayed at the Hyatt and dined at the connecting Villa Christina. We had dinner and breakfast. I must recommend the Italian Cobb Salad. And the breakfast was one of the best.
The service and food were excellent! Unfortunately we were there while a wedding reception was in progress (upstairs). The noise was 'distracting' to say the least. I would advise OpenTable booker's to check with the facility prior to booking on weekends.
Very good food. Great service.
We visited here on Saturday, February 17th. We felt like we had our own personal chef when we dined there. The chef created our pasta dish via our request. It was very comparable to dining at Macaroni Grill. The food was excellent! The service was great and enjoyed the very friendly host who seated us and came back to check on us during our dining service.
We made reservation for breakfast after reviewing the website which showed a variety of options, but once there only the breakfast buffet was available with the usual trays of eggs, bacon, sausages, etc .. nothing special and nothing from the menu.
It has been some time since we had been to Villa Christina. Something has radically changed and I am not sure it was for the better. This used to be a really classy place for brunch in an idyllic setting. Now they serve a very limited breakfast menu, and there seems to be real friction with the staff. I made a simple request to have two eggs fried, and the cook acted like I was asking him to cut his arm off. Not a pleasant young man to be facing the public.
At least for breakfast, I would look for other options.
Menu was limited as is wine list. Thursday night, the bar was packed yet we were the only ones in the restaurant. Food selection was moderate.
Best crab cake in town. The portion was great and the texture was perfect. I wasn’t aware the restaurant was part of the hotel so we did have a bit of trouble finding it. The overall experience was pleasant but not breathtaking.
One of our favorite places in the Sandy Springs area ... convenient!
Every year for the past 5 years my girlfriends and I have come to Villa Christina for our holiday lunch/bunch and gift exchange. It's always a great time that's had by all. The food is always great and we love the ambience. We are looking forward to next year.
The food was not good .. my wife and I went for our Anniversary.. Would not recommend.
The menu changed dramatically based since I was as there last. Long story short they literally don’t have any main dish Italian food. Even the server said he doesn’t understand the menu. Weird vibe!!!
The only restaurant in the US that doesn’t serve turkey on Thanksgiving.
We really enjoyed Villa Christina for Thanksgiving buffet 2016 but not this year. This year the $50/person Thanksgiving buffet was mediocre at best. Several Thanksgiving staples were not served this year such as a carved turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie or "any" type of pie. The turkey breast served was cold and the baked potato bar was marginal. We missed the complimentary mimosas, raw oysters and shrimp cocktail, made-to-order omelet station and Italian dishes that were offered last year. Plus, it would have been nice to eat our Thanksgiving Dinner on a tablecloth. The meal was a disaster but the outdoor terrace was nice for photos after our meal.
We have eaten here on Thanksgiving several times in the past, and were really looking forward to this year. Unfortunately, we came away disappointed. Even before the event, I was annoyed that I was unable find any information about the holiday buffet, menu items, etc., on the web site. I called to confirm there would actually be a holiday buffet. When we arrived, there was no valet parking as there had always been in the past. So, I paid to park close by. When I returned to the restaurant at the time of our reservation (11:00 AM), the buffet wasn't yet ready. We were seated about 5 minutes later. The food was very good, however, there were significantly fewer items available than in past years. This was also true of the deserts; no cakes or pies. In past years, mimosas were included in the price, but not so this year. Despite the reduced food and drink options, the price was higher. We will be dining elsewhere next year.
Lunch was great! Donald always takes great care of not only his guest but everyone in the restaurant.
Our experience was delightful. The vegetables were a little past their prime, so the cook fixed some fresh just for us and treated my daughter to special birthday treats. She and I have had lunch there several times and have never been disapointed.
From the hostess to our server a great experience. Definitely made our special occasion even more special.
The service provided was phenomenal, but the food was underwhelming. It reminded me of a subpar hotel buffet.
Great spot for family brunches on holidays.
Open Table though has not been updated though to reflect the fact that Villa Christina is not open for Sunday brunch on a regular basis.
Do I receive any points I made reservations and dined today
Terrible service, cold food, just shocked at how bad it was when there may have been 3-4 other tables.
