Service was great. Food was great. A little overpriced for the amount given but great overall! Would come back.
Very nice place with lots of creative "not the usual suspects" dishes. Very attentive service when I was there.
Outstanding. Amazing food (mole sauce is to die for) and wonderful service (so fun!!)
Highly recommend this hidden gem.
It was not great or authentic food for what the cost was. It was fine but I can’t say I recommend. Best part was probably the margaritas
Delicious food, great service.
Great service was very attentive to us and homey
Way too expensive, can get the same meal for half the price anywhere else
The place is cute and lively with good food with bottomless mimosa, sangria, beer etc for brunch (cash only) for $36 per 2 persons. Demographics of clientele is decidedly young and the restaurant can get quite loud at 1pm on Sunday. Not knowing this, I booked this place since it was convenient to get to where we were supposed to after lunch. I gave "3" for service since I specifically asked whether I could be seated at window and was declined due to guys "needed to work on something" on the window. However, they did not offer e to move after they were done with it in 10 minutes. The place was not crowded at all when I got there and table remained available for a while. They also marked me as "no show" despite the fact that I was there 10 minutes early (though my friend came 20 minutes late). I hope it was just a fluke and does not reflect their quality of service.
Amazing brunch everything was fabulous! We loved all our dishes and best margaritas 😆
Service was a bit slow and food wasn’t amazing. It’s a good place for a large group bc it wasn’t too loud or crowded
Went here for the bottomless brunch a bit on the earlier side. Service was quick and courteous and our mimosas were filled up when they were only halfway empty! We decided right then in there that it would be our go to spot.
Birthday brunch! Really fun and great food
It was a great date spot. Would definitely come again!
Great service, they really make you feel at home. I can't say the food was amazing but it was good and the service enhanced the experience.
We were the only individuals in the restaurant, and I was disappointed with the ambience, and overall attention to service given we were the only ones there. The staff was kind. However, I felt the service could have improved with more attention to orders (who ordered what), and perhaps more attention given it was our first time there. I don't intend to go back.
Server are bartender were great. Food was good.
Delicious food. Friendly and attentive staff.
Get the duck tacos! Great spot for an early dinner/late lunch. Not too crowded, quick services, yummy food and drinks.
Margaritas and Enchiladas were so good!
Needs more choice on the menu both on food and drink.
The food here is amazing! I’ve never had duck enchiladas before but they were absolutely delicious. The staff was so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of.
Everything gluten free is labeled on their menu and the quesadillas are made with corn instead of flour tortillas
Enjoyed the agua fresca, huitlecoche quesadilla. Crab tacos weren't my favorite as the lime from the guacamole overpowered the lighter flavors of the crab.
Service was polite and attentive.
Service was great, very accommodating but the food was just okay. I would go back for a drink but not for food.
I wanted to like this place but the food was just so so. The cauliflower tacos were actually pretty bad - soggy and not much flavor. The enchiladas were pretty flavorless too. My husband thought the pork plantain dish was really good though. Wouldn’t recommend.
Loved the birthday celebrations!
The food was fine.
Went there was a pulsd voucher and the service was great. Friendly place and food was decent. Would recommend and especially with the voucher.
Great dining experience. Staff was really attentive and friendly and went out of their way to show us a great time!! Food was amazing. I had the fajitas and the Jalapeño marg with cucumber was outstanding !! We will be back!!
Management gave us a hard time at the end of the meal when we asked them to split up the check. It took us 10 minutes to convince them to do so. Otherwise, experience was good.
Must try their brunch menu, I fell in love with the torta and mole con huevos. Rose sangria pitchers are delicious 😋
The service here is fast and friendly... beautiful lively ambiance.
We mostly did appetizers. The nachos seemed to be a modern take, with a fried taco layered with the traditional ingredients and finally layered with meat (chorizo in our case). Then we tried the various tacos on the appetizer menu. Every single one of them was delicious and did not disappoint. There was the duck tacos, the pulpo tacos (grilled octopus). There was a grilled cauliflour appetizer, that seemed to be seasonal which was also very good. The cocktails were decent, and not overly sweet (at least the mule that I had was not very sweet).
Yaymaker candle-making class.
Amazing service, great food - would definitely come back!
Great service, really reasonably priced food and drinks - get the pitchers for group efficiency!
Best place in the east village. Great food, great cocktails, elegant yet fun ambience. Most of all incredible hospitality... they look happy in their work of place and genuinely friendly!!!
Love love this Mexican food. Thank you so much guys
Just great 👍👍
We have been coming here for brunch and dinner and we absolutely love Villa Cemita. They always make us feel at home, with their impeccable friendly service. The food and chef are both sweet! It is so admirable to know a mother started this restaurant the food is a reflection of her passion for her cultural roots of Puebla, Mexico. Chef Alejandra’s food is spot on delicious and a real taste of Puebla, mole is a must try here. I’m glad we live near this place that has the heart of a mom and pop shop but you walk in and it’s so beautiful and elegant yet cozy, romantic and energetic and I highly recommended!
Delicious, fast service and great value. We went on Cinco De Mayo and i was fully prepared for a long wait; but the food came super fast and was exactly as we ordered. the steak nachos were the real deal with beautiful grilled steak...it was a meal in jtself! Delish margaritas too. will def be back.
