Me and my girlfriend went for the bottomless brunch. Recieved my meal and there was hardly any food literally was a few plantain chips, some rice, some black bean paste and two eggs . I was left hungry after the meal , was not satisfying at all. The sangria was very watered down. And towards the end of my experience the couple in the table next to us had too much to drink and spilled an entire pitcher on the floor spilling on my girlfriends leg. The couple was obviously drunk and was not addressed by management, avoid this place
I had the duck tacos and octopus tacos and both were fantastic. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and suggested the perfect cocktails to pair with our tacos. The menu is diverse and all the food came out on time. It was great over real happy and laid back atmosphere. I asked them to play the NBA game on TV and they were so accommodating. If you want more of a private romantic experience they have a back room where it’s less crowded and nicer. Both rooms are beautiful and clean with tasteful decor. We will be back for more as locals, thank you again Villa Cemita Team!
Was situated in the back
Foul food and they had big screen TV ‘s reporting the coral virus . Really bad food and lame service!
I booked a noon brunch reservation at Villa Cemita for 6 people on OpenTable, turned out only 5 people could make it and I tried calling the restaurant multiple times but maybe had the wrong phone number because no one answered a few times or a man picked up who said he was not with a restaurant. I told the hostess about it so hopefully, it gets sorted out.
Villa Cemita was empty when we first arrived but quickly became packed with brunch. The bottomless brunch deal is good, the entrees are $17 and individual drinks are $10 so if you think you want to have 2 or more drinks the bottomless deal is the way to go ($37).
Our service wasn't slow, maybe they need more servers for the large groups that come in for brunch. He couldn't keep straight our drink orders and I asked for no meat in my entree (I'm vegetarian). Sadly, it came out with meat on it and had to be sent back.
The food was good, but some of my friends got the omelet and there was no cheese which is kinda weird. Also, it's cash only for brunch which we knew going in so everyone brought cash but having to figure out splitting a cash-only bill after a few mimosas is difficult.
Overall, if a good bottomless deal and a leisurely brunch is what you're interested in this is a good spot, just don't expect efficient service.
RAN OUT OF JALAPEÑO MARGS
Honestly this place did an amazing job for my 24th birthday, from giving me a shot from a gun to singing. Food was amazing portions are a little small. My only feed back would be music is too loud and margarita pitchers have no alcohol.
Other than the happy hour margarita not being $18 (but they honored it for me), it was great. Quite loud due to the multiple big parties happening. Drinks were good, food was good. Will be returning.
Great time at villa Cemita. Large brunch for 20+ people. Despite the delay with the previous booking, everything went well. We were given free drinks to make up for this. Would definitely recommend. Will be back.
Did the bottomless brunch for two, some minor issues like the cups smelling like bleach, keep me from rating this at five stars. That said the food was excellent and the drinks were strong. Owners son also gave us two free speciality margaritas seemingly on a whim so that was nice!!
Just a casual Saturday night out
Valentine’s Day dinner was very tasty. Drink selection A++, staff are welcoming and attentive. Overall, great experience and will return
You can probably find better Mexican right there in that neighborhood. It was OK. As the place became more crowded as the evening wore on, the service became less and less attentive. It took a long time for our entrees to arrive. They were served in oven-ready, lidded crockery, but were not hot.
My server Joe was so so nice!!!! Would come back for him and the food!
Overall, the food and experience was very good. Meals were great and delivered at good timing. Would consider going to this restaurant again.
The octopus tacos were one of the best appetizers I have had in recent memory - highly recommend that you order these!
Great restaurant only that the card machine wasn’t working and had to go to supermarket next door to take out cash
Great for a birthday brunch! Very high energy, surprisingly tasty food, and great service.
Delicious food and cocktails, excellent service, and fun, buzzy atmosphere. It is a bit on the loud side, but that is the only complaint. Definitely get the drunken nachos - they are fabulous.
Service was great. Food was great. A little overpriced for the amount given but great overall! Would come back.
Very nice place with lots of creative "not the usual suspects" dishes. Very attentive service when I was there.
Outstanding. Amazing food (mole sauce is to die for) and wonderful service (so fun!!)
Highly recommend this hidden gem.
