It is my birthday and our waiter was very helpful and charming. His name was Rocco J. Thank for making my night fun and special!!
Great service. Loud inside to talk
Excellent food and service at a reasonable price for the neighborhood. Valet parking available.
My husband and I enjoyed the restaurant very much. The food was so good, the ambience was pleasant, the service was great.
Presentation of restaurant & service was average
Decor seemed tired in need of updating this is the exterior
Service was poor basic service knowledge was lacking
Food was good /ok
Rose from the Provence was average
The restaurant is beautiful. Food was delicious. The service by our waiter was not good. We barely saw him. We ordered a bottle of champagne and we had to refill our own glasses 2 times. A little disappointing as we were celebrating a birthday...
Go for the people watching but not the service. They completely forgot about us. Don’t go if you are in a hurry.
We enjoyed our experience here. The front desk attendant was *chilly at best* and *affected* ~~~ this was our first (unfortunate) impression of Villa Blanca. Our waiter however, was excellent. Our meals were completely adequate, and we loved the ambiance. We'll come back. Hopefully, you know who up front will be off that evening.
On vacation meeting up with family.
Server was very friendly. Seated promptly. Place was super dark like if it were lighter we’d see all the flaws. Food was very average, not much flavor. I had scallops over squid ink pasta for $38. It came with 3 modest sized scallops. Ordered a nice bottle of red ($85). It was warm. Bathroom seems shabby as did the whole place (where it was lit). Typical of a celebrity owned place (Lisa Vanderpump). I had low expectations so wasn’t too bummed.
Loved the Hispanic guy that came over to check on us, brought us bread, refilled a drink. It’s nice to have someone walk through that takes a notice to things and is very aware. Beautiful decor, loved it, food was amazing and the wine.
I want to be fair and say that it was Valentine’s day and I knew it would be busy. Totally understood that. Being on a business trip, for the upcoming All-Star weekend, my husband and I went out for a meal because our hotel room service is extremely expensive. I checked the website and menu and saw “vegan options available. Please ask.” I made a reservation and noted that I would be asking for vegan options. I probably should have called first. After being seated, we were handed the Valentine’s Day menu, only. The waitress, who was very nice, said there were no vegan options but I could have the beet salad without cheese that was on the prix fixe. I am not a big fan of beets but a hungry girl makes due. She said she would see what else she could find and brought me some bread. Thankfully, I like bread. Our meals came out and my husband had the filet mignon with grilled asparagus and a portobello mushroom. That would have been good to eat with my salad. He shared a spear with me which I enjoyed. The salad was ok but as you can imagine, not very filling. Beets, grapefruit, candied pecans, and mache greens. For dessert, the waitress then brought me a tasty sorbet with raspberries. That was nice. My prix fixe was not the $75. It was only $45. 😫 On a regular night, perhaps my dining experience would have been better. There was no love for this plant based eater on Valentine’s day.
I gave it 4 star because the food was great but the were ran out of one dessert and one appetizer from their only Valentine’s menu.
Was not told that there was a special limited menu for Valentines Day, only 3 choices. They obviously added tables as we couldn't move in our chairs as we were wedged into our space. The music was so loud that we had to ask for them to turn it down. Not a great experience
Stuck my wife and I at far end with pull curtain blocking the sun and continually blowing over our rocking and uneven table. We watched as they tried to sit several other couples who judiciously walked away insisting on better seats. We chose unfortunately to stay and bear it which in hindsight was a poor choice. The highly acclaimed food was mediocre at best. Very disappointed. The area has many other fine restaurants to choose from. Our suggestion is to do so.
