We went for Mother's Day. It was not overly crowded. Service was good and the food was very good. I like that we were not limited to the abbreviated holiday menu. And they had a children's menu too. The only down side to this place is the fact the it's right on PCH. Overall a great experience.

We shared the cioppino, a very large portion of mixed seafood in a delicious tomato broth. Really excellent!

Fun music with a lively ambience. A young man named Mateo took care of us in excellent Fashion. He spoke of the cheese special with such passion I wanted to order two. It was indeed delightful, as well as the rest of the meal and experience. Two thumbs up.

This was our first time to Vigilucci's and we felt so welcomed! Our server, Carmela, was gracious, kind and even offered me he readers when I couldn't read the menu in the soft light :-) We were treated to a dessert courtesy of Vigilucci's as this was our first time in the restaurant. Community. This is what draws us back to places. We want to feel connected. Thank you Vigilucci's! You are doing something right in a weary world searching to belong xo

Stopped by while in Leucadia and had a wonderful authentic Italian lunch in this beautiful place. Food, service and management were great, definitely coming back at night sometime soon! I heard they have live piano music for dinner. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect! Lasagna is always a favorite for us. And make sure to finish with an espresso martini and chocolate lava cake for dessert. Alexis was great and very professional, thank you Vigilucci’s!

We arrived and were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess. Our server Mateo eloquently told us to specials, Which we ended up ordering. He then allowed us to have some samples of wine to pair with our fish and pasta. The food came out after about 25 minutes with nice presentation. All of the staff seem to get along well which made the experience even nicer. We then shared stories about our trip to Italy with our waiter, who was well traveled.

ABSOLUTELY HORRID. 1) FOOD. THE worst Italian EVER. Waited 30 minutes between appetizers. After ordering the Salmon pasta, they came back later to report they ran out of Salmon-at 7pm! They substituted the Salmon for Prawns but only received ONE prawn! The chicken on my salad was UNDERCOOKED! The Fettuccini in a white sauce was GOEY and tasteless. The NOISE level was so loud, my partner had to leave the restaurant TWICE just to breath. Staff was careless and indifferent. This place SUCKS!

Best meal we have had in a long while. Hands down best of the Vigilucci restaurants. Really need to wall off the bar - the noise verges on obnoxious.

Had not been to Vigaluci’s in years so decided to try it again. Food was ok, wait staff was nice but clearly not very experienced - all windows were open so road noise from 101 was very loud - motorcycles etc - very irritating- all this for $250 for two people with glasses of medium priced wine - not ok.
you can do much better at many nice places in Encinitas - not going back

Although had a reservation, got to the table only almost half hour later. Took too long time for food to get delivered. Would not go there if I knew about such long waiting time. Too noisy for a conversation.

Robbie's Trattoria has been the best Italian food and service in Encinitas since he opened, originally where Maurizio's is today. Best Saltimbocca on the south coast. Service and wine advise always excellent.

We felt the food was mediocre. Potato was cold, steak undercooked and marinara too thick with too much paste. The calamari was extremely tough. Will not return here but continue to enjoy the Carlsbad location on State street.

Not if you tell them its for a special event. When I reserved a table for 4, I checked off the box that is for a birthday, my wifes. Even the waiter knew it was a birthday. We never ordered a dessert but it came anyway, assuming a compliment from the restaurant. Nope! We were still charged $13. I didn't notice it until the next day. Who charges for a birthday dessert that is usually on the house? Good food but not going back anytime soon. We also were long time patrons.

We enjoy coming to this restaurant. I always make a reservation. This time it was for 6 people. When we arrived they said we had to wait for a table. After informing them that we had a reservation, they asked if we made it through Open Table. When we said that we had, their response was along the lines of that figures, suggesting we should have made it by calling them - this, despite the fact that their website takes one to Open Table.

We had a reservation but still had to wait 30 minutes for our table. We saw 3 tables that were ready but we had to ask a few times before we got seated. We were quoted the wrong price for adding veggies to my dish. The food was pretty good but not sure we will be going back.

They advertised they had carbonara and my wife had been craving it for quite some time, so I booked it for Valentine’s Day. On the day they somehow decided not to serve Carbonara which was a huge disappointment. Food was still good though!

It was another great night at Vigiluccis. Never had a bad meal, always great service. Probably our most visited restaurant chain here in SoCAL. My wife had the marsala, my son had spaghetti & meatball, and I had the steak over polenta. We passed on dessert this time around. We went for the date night, 2 glasses of wine & two entrees from a limited menu for $55. We had a great evening.

We had a 7:00 reservation on Saturday night and were seated near to 8:00 and not in the main dining room so we missed the music. It seems this accept too many reservations and walk-ins. There were others , just not our party, where they did not honor our reservation on time. Luckily the food was wonderful as always.
