We had a duel birthday celebration and a cancer celebration.
The room was quaint, but the table was a little small for all of us and 1 person didn’t make it.
The service was amazing and our waitress was on it for a busy night.
The food was delicious as usual. All the wine we picked was delicious also.
Awesome place- upscale but quaint- family friendly.
We loved Vigilucci's! They have authentic Italian food which is hard to find. The ravioli and the lasagna are a must to try. If you don't eat meat try their grilled vegetable plate. There is something for everyone! You have to save room for dessert...it's worth it :) The calzone with Nutella and berries are should be illegal. It's that good!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting especially with the holiday decorations.
Food outstanding and inventive beautifully presented
Was lively and high energy so some slowness in service and initial wine delivery
After was very attentive
However very noisy and difficult for an intimate conversation
Maitre’d was real “Italiano paisano”!
Fantastic seafood ravioli! Nice wine list. Great service
Great food; great service and caring staff. I had the Chicken Parmigiana entrée, which was fabulous. Also, the bartender the Robertini was a perfect martini! Great dinner!
Start to finish a fun and warming experience. Greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. Excellent waiter and service. Loved the ambiance of a piano player. Definitely will be coming back when in the area.
This is a great date night spot! Charming ambience, beautiful presentation, and Italian food that tastes straight from Italy.
as always, we had a fantastic dinner and enjoyed the music. excellent pasta, appetizers and desserts. great wine selection.
Love this place! Spectacular house made pastas and one of the most amazing ciopinnos on the planet! The service is always very good. Tonight, Carmella took very good care of us! A must when you’re in the neighborhood!
Great service, great ambiance and good music with the piano player! Awesome staff members!
Food does not live up to ambiance
Second time we requested a particular table, but not saved for us. Restaurant was not busy!
Great food and service!
And absolutely fantastic meal. Fantastic server. Great piano player. Had a wonderful evening.
We had a beautiful evening with background piano music. It was wonderful with amazing food! And great service!
The appetizer salad with the mozerela cheese ball is the best, and so was the fried calamari! For entries, we enjoyed the lasagna, pizza and creme brulee for desert. Paired with a nice pinot noir, the food was among the best we have ever had, and amazing service as well. This is definitely our new favorite Italian restaurant, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.
Maybe. We were there on a Monday date night, and ordered two date night specials and a pear salad, which we split. Our pear salad was good, but small for two and overpriced at $16.00. The house red wine offered with the special was fine.
However, the pasta on my wife's ravioli was "al dente," but the upper decorative parts were too thick and difficult to chew. They've changed the recipe since we were here last, when the pasta was flatter and thinner. The flavor was good, though, and the portion size adequate.
I had a filet on polenta with asparagus. Again, the flavor was good, but they were a little skimpy on the ingredients: probably 1/4 pound of the steak, at most; the polenta was good, but a smallish rectangle about 1/4" thick by 2" by about 6"; the baby asparagus was fine, but there could have been a bit more of it.
To sum it up, the food was tasty and fresh, with the negatives as noted. We felt it was a bit pricy.
The restaurant is beautiful. Interesting lighting, comfortable seating. Stunning glass pieces from Murano as authentic Italian decor. Attentive waitstaff. Delicious salads and appetizers. The burratta was fresh and creamy. The papparedelle with mushroom and scallops was fresh and well spiced. The salmon was a little dry and didn’t go well with the roasted potatoes, but still delicious. The live piano player was a highlight and made the whole experience even more special.
The food at best was sub-par. The staff was friendly and the general ambiance wasn't terrible, but the truffle oil pasta we ordered only tasted like truffle oil and nothing else. The lasagna wasn't too special either. Maybe one shouldn't visit during restaurant week.
We love Vigilucci’s - had a very poor waiter this time.
Stopped for lunch on our way to the airport. Our server was very attentive. Food was brought out quickly. Soup was popping hot as it should be. Over all a very good experience.
Went there again fo r dinner. Sat outside next to the sidewalk watching all the pretty people walk by...wonderful! Giacomo, Andrea and Matteo made me feel welcome as always. A great Caesar salad followed Pollo Rustico-roasted chicken served over s vegetable and sausage has with roasted potatoes. An outstanding glass of Italian red to go with it. Can't wait to go back!
Great service, food and ambience. Classy establishment!
Beautiful setting. Fabulous sunset. Excellent service and food. Michelin star quality food IMHO
Food was delicious... timing of the meal was a little off, some dishes came quickly and then we waited a while for our main course. Otherwise, lovely experience!!
Great place but food last night was below par. Maybe too crowded? Staff was great as always.
Outstanding food and wonderful ambiance and table presentation!
The service was horrible. We got tired of waiting for a drink and eventually let our server know we were leaving.
Lovely dinner- very nice wine list.
The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the piano player.
Got to listen to live piano player and our food was amazing.
Amazing food, service and ambiance.
My family and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was fantastic. We wanted to do something special, which we don’t always get the chance to do, and we are so glad we did. We live in Los Angeles County, and we will be returning to this restaurant even though it is in Carlsbad near San Diego. We want to make this a tradition and take a drive down there, go to the beach for a while, and then finish the day at this wonderful restaurant before heading home. We will definitely be back. By the way, the piano player was excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed
Fresh homemade pasta with very flavorful sauces. Some of the best Italian I’ve had. Service is prompt, friendly and helpful.
A memorable family dining experience!
Great service, fun atmosphere. Good for a special night out
Dinner with friends
*Love this restaurant and food! Waiters are extremely handsome! service spot on -very attentive. noise level a bit too 2decimals high. I only say that because the piano bar is A bit too high for conversation inside.at a table so chose outside seating Suggestion: hostess Should wear a classier attire —-Sunday evening to fit with the restaurant rating. I say this because she looked like she was Called into work without changing from the beach -flimsy dress sticking to inside rear end parts
