food somewhat mediocre for the price, but you come here(and pay) for the ambience and location and beer. Service was good.

Sorry to see things shut down again. As for Viewpoint, we have been there quite a few times. Basically it is my go to place for great food, beer and view

The food is so yummy! This was my second time here. I would definitely recommend and return again and again.

Love this location , all open air and very dog friendly, the beers are really good although I am not even a big beer drinker, good honest food and super friendly service.

We brought 4 friends to brunch as a Christmas present. Everything was wonderful. Thank you Viewpoint staff💕💕 stay Safe

Relaxing, rejuvenating, solid day drinking with a great environment and ambience.

We made a reservation and all showed up and they were closed. No one told us they were not going to be open and confirmed our reservation and went out of our way. At the point we found it was closed we were unable to get in at any other place the day before thanksgiving. Super disappointed in this service

Service was great. A few of us had special requests around ingredients and they were super accommodating. They also brought out a beer taster with a candle for my husband's birthday.

We really liked the ambience and views. Appetizers were better than the dinner even though it wasn’t bad. Beer was excellent. Waiter was super friendly and had great service.

Consistently great experience here. Love the servers! Super friendly and enthusiastic about the food and beverages they offer. The roasted cauliflower is outstanding as are the Chicken Sando and the burger. I keep bringing new friends and they all love it too.

Just need better servers, that are happier and at least appear to like their job. Our server was so rude.

My Backyard Burger was done to perfection...JUST as I ordered it. Our waitress, Annie, remembered me, even with my d mask on, and gave us great service. The venue and are view are THE BEST!

I had the brisket plate which was excellent and rivals some of the best barbecue in San Diego. My nephew had the backyard burger and said it was good but then he would order it without cheese next time because he felt the cheese over powered the flavor of the meat. Overall, a good experience and we will come back.

LOTS of dogs, which is excellent because we are dog people, but some thing to note for those who are not so fond of dogs.

They were out of pretty much everything so I ordered a Caesar salad. He came back and said they were out of that also so suggested a different salad. When it came it looked like the size of a side salad and charged me $14. The up charge is ridiculous. The ambiance and the beer is good, but stay away from ordering food. The prices are ridiculous and very not vegetarian friendly.

I love Viewpoint Brewery, the ambiance, the food, the friendly and on time service, everything was excellent. I definitely recommend it for celebrations, special occasions, for just hanging out.

Excellent beers, food was great and server was top notch and very customer service oriented. Enjoyed our time there Saturday 11/14 very much.

Awesome place! Service was spot on. The Viewpoint beer was really solid and easy to drink.

I was sooooo disappointed! I heard great things about the place but our experience was really lame. I reserved a table 3-4 weeks ahead ( for a birthday) and got a side table next to the computer. It was rainy and cold, a notice that the place is ALL open could have helped. Also, there was no heater next to us. When we asked to move , they gave us a different table but then we got wet By the rain so we got back to the side table.
The food- as a vegan, I thought I had some options- there was only 2 and both were very similar- cauliflower. First they didn’t have the appetizer, then they did but honestly, how much cauliflower can you eat? Also the “veggie plate” should change her name to cauliflower plate. The fried cauliflower- which was the appetizers Was surved with BLACK mint ( not fresh) when I told the waiter, he said ok but did nothing about it. The main course- roster cauliflower was ok but I was so over cauliflower at that point. The name made me think there are different veggies in it. My husband is not vegan and had the brisket. He said it was ok. The prices are high, the food is not more then bar food . They did brought us a scoop of ice cream for the birthday. It was too cold to eat it!!We where out in less than an hour. Celebrating at home was better.

Great place with good service and delicious comfort food. The beer is always great. I usually bring my friends and family here when they are in town.

Went for a date night and it was a great vibe and good beers. The view and ambiance in this restaurant is great. Would definitely recommend!

Great food, the menu changes over time (I miss then Nahn Mi!), lots of interesting options. I have the fried chicken sandwich, really crispy chicken, great flavor in the crust, very moist meat.
Dog friendly, actually dog welcoming, play area on the side, water bowls scattered around.

Freddy was an awesome server! Had a good time and felt safe with changes regarding pandemic.

Nice location across from Del Mar Racetrack. Sat on the patio outside and it was very pretty. Great view. Beer was good not great. Was really disappointed in the Fish Tacos. Very small and overly fried. Too expensive for what they were. Servers were pleasant and did a good job refilling waters and drinks. Would go back for sure but maybe just drinks next time.

I had a reservation for 7pm, but unfortunately we were seated 40 minutes later. Waiting for that long was absolutely disappointing. Our waitress was good and food was ok.

Outstanding experience. The beers were great, the food superb, and the service excellent.

Had never been here and was looking for an outdoor venue that takes the COVID rules seriously. We will definately return. We also had various beers and they were all good!
