We went for 12:30, had a little confusion about upstairs seating being for brunch only and downstairs seating for lunch only. Good salmon tartare and braised pork shank, good service!
Our dinner was excellent but we felt we were rushed through. Yes it was a busy night but we ordered and then it was within 10 minutes we were served appetizers. Not much time to socialize with our dinner companions. Dinner followed shortly there after and then the bill. In and out in just under an hour and half.
We two other visits to your restaurant with a leisurely dinner. We will be back when in Montreal but will stress not too rush us through

Il y avait des tables vides dans les coins. J'avais demander une table specifique je ne l'ai pas eu. Notre table etait entourer de gens.
Restaurant chic, la cuisine est dé-li-cieu-se. Malheureusement le service était froid et condescendant, depuis l'hôte qui nous a conduit à notre table d'un air hautain comme si on n'était pas à notre place dans son établissement, jusqu'au serveur qui n'avait pas l'air de vouloir être là et qui tentait de nous expédier les services en vitesse pour qu'on reparte au plus tôt. La nourriture est exquise, heureusement ça compense quelque peu.
Amazing service, great food, special atmosphere but a bit expensive. Worth every dollar!
It was an amazing experience for valentine’s day.
It was my wife’s birthday and after dinner, the waiter came out with a cheesecake and a candle for her. He even sang Happy Birthday. It was a nice flow from service to the food to paying our bill.
We had a very enjoyable dinner with good wine, good food and great service from our waiter. The ambiance is cozy, the noise levels are low, and the location in Old Montreal is central. The wine is overpriced. The menu is varied and moderately priced. I had the French Onion Soup as an appetizer. It came with plenty of cheese and the base was flavourful and not too salty, which is often the case for this soup. I had the VP burger for the main course. The string fries are a favourite of mine and they are cooked to perfection. The burger was a bit dry. If you want an exceptional burger, try Sambucas on Church in downtown Toronto. I have not eaten a better burger outside of that restaurant. My friends enjoyed their meals, other than one who found the salmon tartare too spicy. And apparently another's Caesar salad was heavy on the anchovies, which some people may actually enjoy. The desert menu was sparse on food and overloaded with liquor. The business model is more like a downtown Toronto model where revenue is driven by alcohol sales. Perhaps the property taxes are high. If this was a bring your own wine restaurant I'd come back often. The bottle of Sterling Cabernet Sauvignon we purchased for $42 is $15.50 at the SAQ and one of our guests paid $18 for a glass of rosé.

Food was great, especially the rosbif, which was tender. Good variety in terms of food. Somewhat expensive, but it is an upscale all you can eat. Take note that we went during happening gourmand, so it was 5$ cheaper than usual.

The hostess argued with my wife to hang up her jacket and made it seem like it was mandatory yet everyone in the restaurant had their jackets on their chairs. Secondly, the waiter asked us which sauce we wanted with our meals and on teh menu there is no price next to the sauces and he didnt indicate there was a price and we were charged 3$ per. It gave my wife(on her 30th bday) a sense she was taken advantage of. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to close friends and family for important occations.

Food is ok. Similar to your average steakhouse. The service not so much. Rude staff that seems to be in a rush with everyone. For the same price, the Keg is a much better option.

The service was terrible. When they brang the food, they put in front of my face with attitiude . Never simle, never say thank you. I was disappointed . I strongly recommend the restaurant should train your employees again.

Good place I had the porterhouse it was great. I ask for medium rare it was closer to rare but that was fine for me, but if you're someone who does not like meat cooked cooler than you order you might have a problem. I had the escargot appetizer it had way to much cheese that so overpowered the snail I could barely taste them. The veggies that came with the meal were tasty. The staff was helpful and pleasent.
I had salmon and it was one of the best i've had so far. My children had the baseball cut steak and it was also one of the best we've tasted. My husband had the grilled chicken and it was very good also.

Went on a Saturday night so expected it to be busy, but they pack too many tables for the space available - you can basically elbow the people sitting at the next table. Food was really good, although a bit pricey - you are in the Old Port so I guess it's a good value all things considered... Would recommend, but probably wouldn't be my 1st pick.
Excellent food and service! We went for a family dinner and everyone enjoyed their meal, the meat is excellent quality and the cooking time was as requested. Personnaly, I really recommend the tian and goat cheese entree and the black cod fish plate. Exquisite!
Went here for the Hapening Gourmand event that takes place until febuary 4th. It was for my birthday and we were seated right next to a cozy fireplace. Great steak and worth the chopped down price! I recommend this place to anyone who likes steak and a good time! :)

mon amie avait pris escargot à l'ail préparé au gratin , le fromage sur les escargots n'est pas génial, je pense que ça ne vient pas ensemble, le traditionel beurre à l'ail srait bien meilleur (à mon gôut comme celle de mon amie aussi)
Lovely atmosphere- decor and noise level were very good. Larger dining areas than expected. Menu was extensive with a ‘value menu’ that was particularly well priced for selection. Other ala carter options were expensive and well priced. Had a spinach and goat cheese app that was unlike anything I’d ever had and was most pleased!
