   We are long time customers of Vienna Wine Bar. We learned that the restaurant was sold and there was new management. We were disappointed to see a reduced menu and many favorite items (such as Bavarian Schnitzel) were no longer on the menu. We ordered veal schnitzel and there was more breading than there was veal. We are very sad and disappointed and will not be returning.

   under new ownership...wine list is unacceptable...great items missing from menu. Probably won't be back...what a shame. Oh, nomore roses in table....cheap

   We have been going here a while now and the restaurant has always been excellent. We have been going here since the 90’s and it’s been through a few changes. We have always enjoyed the Prix Fixe menu for NYE and decided that we would still go even though it was not offered. We had reservations in advance of 4-5 days and arrived a little ahead of our time. They put us in the small room off the main, there were about 4 tables and it was very noisy. We could barely hear the music from the piano player. We did our best to still enjoy the experience and ended up making friends with some of the tables in the area and it became a bit more like a party. We made the best of it. The food was very good but also very limited and I like the Prix fix meal better for the price etc. They also scaled the wine menu waaay back and there were not very many choices for a place that has “wine bar” in their name. No real champagne 🍾 offered on a night where it’s most popular. :(

   Very disappointing meal. We have been going for over 20 years. They changed ownership this year and seriously curtailed the menu. There were only 5 choices for the entre. The piano music was much too loud for the small space. The service was top rate, as always. Tande was excellent. Not sure we will be going back if they don't offer the menu items that made them Vienna Cafe. I truly hope the new ownership sees this and considers why they bought a restaurant that served a very special genre of food and then completely abandoned that repast.

   We visited Vienna Wine Bar on Christmas Day and couldn't have asked for a better restaurant for a special occasion. The restaurant is charming, the service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing, pleasant personalities, and the food was amazing. Both of us had the filet mignon with green beans and mashed potatoes. The filet was a beautiful cut, and perfectly prepared, just the right temperature. The sides were nicely prepared, although i would have liked a baked potato and maybe some asparagus, but that's just me. We didn't partake of the wine list or desserts, but the wine list looked impressive. Lots of variety, both in selection and price point. Limited dessert selection, but for a holiday menu it wasn't bad. Again, we didn't partake, but they looked good. They had a chocolate mousse dessert, a strudel, and a berry bowl with options of ice cream, whipped cream and liqueur. The crowd for Christmas day was slim, which made the noise level fantastic, although you couldn't help but overhearing conversations at the neighboring tables, but it wasn't distracting. Overall, I would highly recommend Vienna Wine Bar. Would love to visit again on a non-holiday occasion for comparison. But I'm guessing you would have just as pleasant an experience as we had on Christmas Day. And to take that famous Christmas carol as a challenge, "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" to enjoy Vienna Wine Bar!
