Sweet Berry Glazed Duck

Beets tossed with raisins walnut mix and topped with goat cheese in a honey balsamic vinaigrette, arugula
We had the Capesante (pan- seared scallops) and the chicken Messina. The Messina was delicious.
The restaurant was casual with delicious food. There were several large groups there but it did not delay our appetizers or main entree from arriving.
Great food great atmosphere! Outside seating is very nice on a fall night!
We enjoyed the lentil soup and milanesa chicken breasts topped with arugula salad. Our server was friendly and efficient. The outdoors covered terrace seating with plants and flowers makes for a nice ambiance.
Vert decent food, good outdoor space. Love the table cloth! Service though was very slow esp w/2 kids.
1st dinner out after knee replacement surgery. Perfect choice as the food is consistent, enjoyed the Osso Bucco perfect ‘gravy’ and tasty meal, the waiter Fernando anticipated every need.
It is great to know this neighborhood gem ‘ survived’ through pandemic restrictions!!
Wonderful restaurant with a great terrace for outside dining. The staff were all extremely pleasant and attentive. The food was just what I wanted with a pasta with vodka sauce with pancetta perfectly cooked and spiced and an insalata caprese (the only slight flaw was the tomatoes, being at NJ restaurant, could have been a slight but riper to be perfect). Highly recommend Videlia!
Vidalia is a great tucked away spot in downtown Lawrenceville, NJ with lovely outdoor dining in their courtyard. Vidalia has great traditional Italian food with great service. Can't beat it. Our favorite spot in Lawrenceville.
Always a great experience! Chase was super friendly and so was our server. Sea scallops, Swordfish and Barramundi were all delicious.
Love this restaurant
Food is always excellent and the service attentive and pleasant.
It’s a hidden gem in a nice little town
The first impression was wonderful but unfortunately the experience did not live up to reviews at all which I why I feel compelled to give feedback. The server was new and clearly overwhelmed and I have a lot of compassion for that but there was no apology for the long wait for seating and for food...they knew it was a birthday but they did nothing and did not even offer us dessert. The service was extremely slow and the food was so so. It was perfectly edible but nothing we would bring people back for- something we very much hoped for. I can only guess that the chef was off and they were understaffed. I did a lot of homework to find something special for my mom's birthday and after reading the reviews, I truly expected that. The ambiance made up for quite a bit but we left dissapointed. I probably will not give it another try.
Love the location and food. Parking is plentiful. Good variety of specials. Come hungry, especially if you order pasta. We have dinner tonight too. Service started off well, but declined. Took forever to get dessert and refills on water. It is worth the trip for the food and variety of offered items.
The waiter and the food server-bus person were both outstanding~ friendly, kind, efficient… great experience.
We went for lunch and great experience. Food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Our first time here. I like this place and will definitely go back. I am partial to "red checkered tablecloth" Italian restaurants and this is pretty close (although there are no actual tablecloths here). Staff is appropriately friendly and pretty efficient. Food (veal saltimbocca and sausage/cheese/spinach cannelloni was VERY good and portions are generous. Dining room is small and a bit noisy if there is a large table in attendance (in our case there was a table of 6 close by), although not outrageously so. But it's probably NOT the place to go if you're planning to propose marriage that night! Outside seating looked like a good bet on the right night, weather-wise. We'll be back!
We decided to eat outdoors in the lovely outdoor dining area. Our service was wonderful and the food - salad and dinner were delicious! We will be back soon! 😁
The stuffed onion appetizer was wonderful, as well as the antipasto. It was loaded w/cheeses, figs, olives and other Italian goodies! Brandon waited on our table and was knowledgeable of the dishes and very courteous. We dined outside and the fans did a decent job of making it a very pleasant experience. We can’t wait to return!
Food is wonderful just felt a little cramped in the restaurant.
Great original dishes and wonderful outdoor dining!
Wonderful atmosphere, awesome service and even better food!
A go to place for dinner. So so for lunch... there are better places in the area for lunch.
Great service and great food.
We sat in the serene courtyard on a cool evening. The service was excellent. We began with a starter of beet salad followed by mains of lasagna and the herb roasted duck. The lasagna had the ideal ratio of cheese to meat to tomatoes. The duck was crispy and flavorful. As always, the portions are plentiful. Cappuccino and cannoli rounded out the evening.
Wide selection with delicious specials like the shrimp francese. The duck was outstanding. Service was good and the inside restaurant is cozy. I recommend this place.
Sal offers amazing dishes with such thought behind them. The service is nice with young adults from town getting an opportunity to serve in a high end restaurant. Truly worth trying.
Our food and service were top notch even as the staff battled hurricane like rain and wind to try to keep the outdoor dining safe and dry. We had to finally shelter indoors where we treated to great food and service despite very trying conditions for management, staff and the chefs. Always an A+ experience; we will be back again and again!
It has been a few years since we've been to Videlia, but after our meal, we will be back soon. We started off with the Vidalia Loaf, which is as good as we remembered, followed with the calamari which was perfectly fried and the pomodoro sauce was awesome. My wife had the Veal Francese, which was very tender and the lemon sauce was rather good. My daughter had the vodka sauce with scallops, which was also very good. I decided to go with the nights special, a seafood risotto with a dozen mussels in shell, scallops and shrimp which were amazing and tender. A little gelato and a slice of pistacio cake and our evening was complete. The outdoor seating was very comfortable and nice and quiet, and our waiter Joe, was well trained and attentive. A spectacular night indeed.
First time patrons. Went for lunch, sat inside. Flys everywhere sometimes landing IN our food. We got charged more than the price on the menu. When we questioned to the waiter, then the owner- “oh well- I had to raise prices
Very nice restaurant with excellent quality food, lots of variety and very reasonable prices, plus it is a BYOB. The outdoor dining was really pleasant and the service was very fast and efficient, but now rushed. It has become one of our favorite restaurants for getting together with friends or for just a quite meal together.

Charming small restaurant in the picturesque village of Lawrenceville. Varied Italian menu with fresh and generous appetizers, pastas, and entrees. A special of linguine with mussels and shrimp was outstanding.
Vidalia is absolutely my favorite restaurant.
The chicken Marsala is phenomenal and the meat lasagna named after Sals mother is great.
My wife and I love this restaurant she often gets the fish special.
If you haven’t tried vidalia you should.
Great food with friendly service and a lovely atmosphere in the patio/garden outside. Great date night/celebration dinner.
Excellent food, excellent service in a great outdoor venue. One of our favorite NJ restaurants. Exceptional Italian fare.
The food is always good and the wait staff are very pleasant
Small local restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent, attentive waitstaff and very good food. The restaurant is BYOB.
Lovely evening dinner on the outside covered patio
Food and service is excellent! My only complaint is we brought wine and they put it in the ice bucket on the floor then the condensation was on the floor so they put bar towels down.
We ate out side where the fans were not hitting us
Definitely going back for the food.
The onion soup was tasty. The chicken with figs was also very tasty but the mixed vegetables that came with it were bland. In fact, they tasted as if they were simply boiled. The side of broccoli rabe was also bland and tasted as if it was boiled or steamed. The garlic bread did taste of garlic but one look at the bread spoke volumes of the flatness of the bread itself. Too inconsistent so I don’t believe we will be back any time soon.
Phenomenal! Not much else to say the food speaks for itself!
