The food at Videlia's is always interesting and beautifully prepared. Wait staff is very conscientious.
Great meal with excellent service.
Be sure to bring a bottle of wine and consider the specials!
Excellent food, lovely outdoor and indoor seating available.
We enjoyed a great meal to celebrate a special occasion with our group of 5. Our table outside was ready, service was prompt, appetizers (calamari, stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta), meals (pasta, veal, chicken, lamb chops and seafood pasta) and dessert (tiramisu and cannolis) were all tasty . . . portions are large so we enjoyed much of it again the next day! Always love BYOB places so that was a bonus. An enjoyable spot!
The food at Vidalia is really delicious. They have unique dishes that are worth trying out, like the Vidalia loaf and the Vidalia pasta dish. The server was very friendly and service was excellent. We will definitely go back.
Always a pleasure. Special night out, everything a la carte, so be prepared to pay for your salad. Delicious meal. BYOW.
Never disappointed until now...service was awful. Waited a very long time to order, asked repeatedly for wine to be opened and had to ask several times for ice bucket. He may have been overwhelmed as there was a private party inside. We dined on the patio and that was busy too. Unfortunately, table of 6 behind us was VERY loud. The salads were good as expected but the entrees were uneven. My crab stuffed sole, a special, was cooked unevenly and was cold in the center. Other people in our group said their entrees were ok, the chicken was full of small bones and lasagne portion was small. Dessert was especially bad...we ordered the chocolate lava cake w/ vanilla gelato and they served it w/o the gelato because the server said they ran out. Another person in our party ordered plain vanilla gelato and was served mostly whipped cream.
We will go back but definitely not when they have a private party that seems to overwhelm them.
Our server was great - detailed explanations of the specials and quick (but not rushed) service. Excellent food and a nice outdoor atmosphere. A loud group made it difficult to converse at times but overall a nice night out with friends.
Finally got a reservation. Yummy food. Excellent service.
Took my son to dinner at Vidalia since we had never been there. Food was very good and the service was excellent. Overall a very good experience
The food was delicious and all the staff were very attentive to the guests.
Food and service was very good. Menu selection was to everyone's liking. We were not rushed and enjoyed a very pleasant evening.
Excellent meal; it was very enjoyable, but that’s my usual experience here.
We have friends in Marlboro N.J. and this restaurant is our go to place. We live in Philadelphia and this restaurant is just great for celebrating and enjoying good food.
Possibly very important!: it's BYOB on alcohol so bring your own wine.
It's a small place, but the food is good and the atmosphere is nice. I would say it's definitely worth the drive from Princeton.
This restaurant is consistently delicious. It is great for the neighborhood and easily the best dining in the area. The only comment is that the specials also seem to consistent as well. They are very good, but never change.
We are big fans and often eat with friends at Vidalia. This time was a party of 7, all coworkers as well as friends, some from far away, and all foodies. Sal and his team did not disappoint. Many still commenting on the experience days later.
We recently visited Vidalia's for a birthday lunch. Our Open Table reservation inaccurately reflected outside seating but we were easily accommodated inside. Service was pleasant and prompt. I had the salad special of the day with grilled chicken, tomato, avocado, mozzarella and honey balsamic. It was great! Finished with cappuccino and ice cream. Very pleasant experience overall.
I left hungry. There were 3 scallops, a small portion of rosotto and 9 thin French green beans on the plate. At $32 that’s $10 a scallop.
Loved the food with our 3 teen boys. Our one regret...leaving our leftovers behind!
This was our second time at Vidalia and both times the service was excellent. Both times the waitstaff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. On our first visit, we met the the CoOwner's wife. She was so down-to-earth, and sweet.
On our second visit, my husband had the Bronzoni, which he can't stop raving about! I love that there many gluten-free options and that it's a BYOB restaurant.
In short, of all the many local restaurants we've tried so far in our 2 years living in the Hamilton area, Vidalia offers the MOST ambiance, class, taste, value and service.
If you want a tasty meal, go to Vidalia. The menu has many options and there are always several specials that delight. For example, I had a grilled Barramundi that was absolutely delicious. Sal runs a superb restaurant!
We have been to this restaurant several times and it is always excellent. This time we ate lunch outside on a really gorgeous sunny day. I had the barramundi fIsh and my husband had the salmon and both were delicious. This restaurant never disappoints.
Neighborhood gem! Owner and Chef Sal cooks with the freshest ingredients and always has interesting specials on the menu. The beet salad is the best you'll get anywhere. His homemade linguini is a treat and all his dishes burst with flavor. No matter what you order, you cannot go wrong here.
Excellent service and food as always
Always great fresh food. Will visit again. Small restaurant with a nice ambience.
A lot of great reviews, but just another Italian joint. It was OK, not worth they hype.
A very good dining experience; the salad and the chicken with crabmeat (special) were done very nicely.
Fantastic food, friendly service, and an unrushed atmosphere made our dinner celebrating a birthday fun and memorable. The specials of the day were extremely tasty and some were rotating favorites. Thank you for a great experience!
The food was terrific and the service was very attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful evening at Vidalia.
Always a great experience. The food is by far the best I have had in the area.
Wonderful selection of food, from salads to pasta to chicken, fish, pork, veal.
Dined with friends and had a wonderful experience. We were not rushed despite a later reservation. BYOB was definitely a plus. The food, particularly the chicken fichi, was absolutely delicious.
The food at Vidalia is very good. Onion soup was delicious and barramundi special outstanding. Only negative...we were seated on the porch and when most of the tables are filled, the noise level is extremely high. I'd try to go early and get an inside table.
Fabulous! The osso buco was tender and moist and the fettuccini perfect.
The veal francese was the best we've ever tasted. What a great place!
Always enjoy the chefs creative menu and service is great
The food was great! The wait staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The experience was amazing as always. Great place for a date night.
Great salad and pasta, delicious, reasonably priced, BYOB
They used to be really good but the quality of food has gone down. They bring out bread that has been cut so small it’s like eating croutons.
Excellent service, excellent food and a very enjoyable night. Salads were good, veal saltimboca and chicken fiche were awesome. We enjoyed dessert too. We will go back again.
