Vida is a wonderful place to go for a fine dining experience whether in jeans or dressed up. Lovely atmosphere, great service, delicious foods and beverages for all ages.
We sat at our table 20 minutes and no one even acknowledge us. I had to return to the hostess to ask for service. This ruined the whole experience.
Nothing but bad memories. Went to see Heart at Fountainbleu Live. The entire facility was not capable of handling the event. Sat down for dinner at 6:30. Had to remind waitress to get our drinks. Salads came out 25 minutes later. Entrees 50 minutes into the service. Penne with sauce! Ate a quarter of it before we had to get in line at 7:30 for the show. Never got the dessert we paid for in the prix fix menu. The worst. Took over an hour to get the car from the valet. Fountainbleu should be ashamed of their performance or lack there of.
Great service. Food was good. every dish was great. Thank you.
Relaxing meal after a long day at the beach. Our 8yr old loved the food and service was excellent.
Had a very nice lunch here. Returned a couple days later to try the sushi which was also great.
The waiter made recommendations from the start which was a great alternative to specials. The cocktails were good, several people stopped by the table to ensure we had a great meal. Overall we felt welcomed, not at all rushed, and enjoyed our meal.
If you want to have a great meal at one of the hotel's casual dining places, Vida is the place to eat at..
Vida was a lovely spot to enjoy well prepared and presented special entrees. The sauces and dips made these items even more enjoyable. This was a business trip so the fast courteous service was appreciated. The cost was as to be expected for the hotel location. Even a togo item prepared to takeout was well dressed and stylish.
The first and last time I will ever put a foot in this place. The food is just horrible and expensive for no reason. It taste like they cooked it out of a can or box. Not to mention how slow these workers are. I love staying at Fontainebleau but they really need to get rid of this restaurant it just doesn't match the quality of the hotel.
Always a line to get in here, especially for breakfast. Food is solid, not the best I've ever had. Dinner was pleasant, shrimp were nicely cooked. Husband's salmon was okay. Nice location if you are staying at the hotel. Not a first choice but a good option if you don't want to leave the property.
Nice atmospher - friendly server - noise level was acceptable
The Vida Sunday Brunch at the Fontainbleau met our expectations and then some. Very informal, yet classy. Good food for breakfast folks, and great lunch with a balanced variety from appetizers, through main plates selections, through dessert and coffee.
It was well worth the amount for the Sunday brunch. I will certainly recommend it to family and friends and most likely will be going back in the near future. The location is perfect and great for everyone!
Brunch, service and food were all wonderful!!!
When we saw the menú list before making the reservación, it Did lobster.
No lobster in the buffett on sunday!
My wife has Celiac Disease and when we told our server, he fully understood what we meant. Other restaurants we visited in Miami acted like they didn't know what we were talking about. Our server was attentive, efficient and helpful.
Food was lovely. Lots to choose from. We went twice whilst staying at Fontainebleau and would recommend to people staying at hotel.
Over the coarse of our viest to the fontainebleau, we enjoyed a breakefast, lunch, and diner at Vida. Service vas very good for all meals . The meales all were very good . A relaxing ,enjoyanle dineing experience.
The view was great. We had a table by the floor to ceiling windows and we could see the pool and ocean. The brunch it's were eclectic. Along with the typical breakfast items, they served quail and lamb, Spanish inspired dishes (tapas), a seafood section with large shrimp and oysters on the half shell along with fresh sushi.
Our server was slow rude and overall just not a good waiter the noise from the hallway of the hotel was very disruptive
We attended Mother's Day brunch and it was lovely. The management team is wonderful! I called several times to add more guests to my party and they we're very accommodating. The food and service were exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I went for brunch on Mother's Day & had an excellent time. The hotel itself is stunning and vida is fabulous. Great good, great service. I will definitely be back!
We enjoyed the vast array of lavish brunch offerings and great service. More stars would be awarded if the manager did not give us a hassle about a price in discrepancy for the Brunch. We received a confirmation for $59/per person but they insisted on charging us more. They only finally honored the printed confirmation price after an unnecessary confrontation. Poor customer service by the management staff.
For the price the selection was too small. Not enough on the salad bar. Not enough hot seafood items. The layout was confusing.
excelente brunch de dia de la madre, la major atencion, el personal y el lugar es lindisimo.
sin lugar a duda voy a regresar
We are staying at the Fontainebleau and thought we would try a restaurant I. The hotel. We started with calamari which was soooo salty and the sauce was very "mayonaissey". We also had the lobster guacamole which was very salty as well. Then I had mixed greens salad which had ingredients in it that the server couldn't even identify and was also salty. My husband had a caprese salad which was also salty. At that point we decided we were full. In their defense, the waiter told the manager that the food was oversalted and they brought us a dessert on the house. Still cost a fortune like everything else in south beach but the service was great. We may have caught them on an off night.
The food was good but a pretty standard atmosphere. Nothing too exciting.
Sea Bass was awesome!! Would definitely go back!! Wine was great Meiomi Belle Glos Pinot noir yum
The Fointainbleu is an icon in Miami. The brunch es very good. i enjoyed the biggest scallops i have tried ever. The prime steak is awesome and the lamb, great. The funghi risotto, delicious. I certainly recommend it. I will come back.
We ate at Blade Sushi, next door to Vida.
If you like Sushi, this is the place to go. VERY good! Pricey as sushi will be, but well worth it.
Great drinks and wait staff excellent.
We would go again!
Arrived in Miami and was staying at the Fountainblu and needed to get a quick bite to eat with my son. We heard about Vida at the hotel so we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and food. We also went there for breakfast today which was very good.
This all inclusive "Sunday Brunch" is the best around (not to be confused with their regular breakfast offerings). The extensive food selections included great sushi, salads, grilled meats, vegetable dishes, killer blue cheese gnocchi, large fresh shrimp, lox, custom omelets, delectable desserts, and unlimited bloody marys or mimosa. Of special note on deserts....the selection was fantastic and always includes house made ice cream-yum! Price includes parking. Early seating times are very busy due to hotel guests using this same facility for regular breakfast service. Also, opt for a table in the area closest to the open kitchen where the hot foods are served. This location avoids traveling through tables and traffic. Great brunch!
Fabulous end to our Miami Beach stay!
Be prepared to pawn your jewelry. Can you believe $70 for a salad, fried calamari and a tuna roll? oh add a bottle of pelligrino.
While it includes a service charge (...ie. gratuity--so be careful you don't add another 15% inadvertently)....this is still an outrageous amount for lunch.......even for a beach hotel!
Very little ambiance. More a place for breakfast. Went to the Thanksgiving buffet and will not return. Food was good...not great. Was not expecting table clothes....but not even place mats on the tables. More an informal walk in with flip-flops type place.
For $65 pp I expected the buffet to be top notch. Dining at the Fontainebleau many years ago used to be a sublime experience. Sadly it no longer is. The stone crabs were thawed from frozen and dripping with moisture you could squeeze out of the meat, served without the iconic mustard sauce. They had a large variety but most hot dishes were not hot, the prime rib sub-par. The desserts were just OK.
By far the best brunch I've ever had! Best variety best selection best combination best freshness you name it! Only complaint is the service is not great...manager is fabulous but wait staff only ok but it's worth going to bc of the food!!!!
Food was excellent but our server was very poor. He didn't check how our meals were and very slow and taking orders for appies , drinks and main course.
I love it seriously ... I love brunch but, I think I never come back I prefer the Biltmore brunch it was very poor in food and dessert compare with biltmore I'm so sorry but I have to he honest maybe u can changed .
