Food was outstanding. Great ambience. Charles the waiter was very engaging and funny. Added to the experience. We will definitely return.
We had not been back in a while. Food was very good but were surprised at the charge. Even with COVID and its impact, the prices seemed a bit steep. Not sure folks can do your restaurant on a consistent basis if you charge so much. We won't.
Service was not what I’ve experienced in the past. Disappointed.
We dined on a Saturday evening in summer, and the restaurant attracted a sizable group of BYOB diners. Given the difficulties of operating a quality restaurant during these times, it is somewhat surprising to find a restaurant that seems to be operating efficiently and yet with due attention paid to its diners' needs. All of our courses were well-prepared and served at the proper temperature. My wife enjoyed a codfish special while I had the paella (with chorizo, of course). We shared the calamari appetizer. All of the fish appeared to be fresh and the preparations were very tasty. Prices are a bit higher than I would like, but still within reason, particularly given that Vida & Comida is a BYOB. Portions were more than adequate.
Great food, service and atmosphere!
Excellent choice for our 25th wedding anniversary dinner.
Located in the heart of wonderful Ambler, the cuisine was authentically Spanish, the waiter well versed on menu, and we were able to pair our BYOB chilled bottle of Albarino with the delectable Seafood Paella.
Highly recommended !
We always love our experiences at Vida and Comida! The food is incredible, from the seafood to the steak, salad to the dessert. At our most recent visit we tried the traditional basque cheesecake and it was better than any cheesecake I’ve ever had. This place never disappoints!
What a gem! Beautiful decor, modern upscale and delicious food. We will definitely be back again soon!
The food was great, but the portions were just way too small. We both left hungry, even with the appetizer, 2 main courses, and 3 plates of bread. The bread only had 3 small cracker-sized pieces of bread on it, so we had to ask our server to keep bringing us more just to have enough!
The Corvino was excellent, a real treat. The paella was good, but not great in my estimation, though I know it has been applauded there. No spice to it, and too little seafood and chorizo. This does not mean we won't be back, we definitely will.
As always, an outstanding meal, served by people who really care about your experience, and the welfare of their employees as well. That level of attention really shows through.
We had an amazing dinner at Vida and Comida. Cindy the owner is so nice. Jim are server was just great. Looking forward to eating there again.
Excellent service and food.
Great date night spot! Amazing food and setting. This was the first time my wife and I have ever tried it. You could classify it as a little more expensive of a spot, but the food is worth every penny in my opinion. My wife and I will definitely be returning.
The food was delicious. Some of the best paella that I've ever had. The sweetbreads appetizer special was a wonderful addition. Corvina was excellent. The service was wonderful. Big thanks to Nate for his impeccable service.
Croquetas were outstanding, as was the paella. Attentive service as well. An absolute gem in Ambler.
Getting back to our favorite restaurant was lovely. Same delicious food served with nice presentation, attentive waiter and opportunity to relax enjoy and sip our own wine.
One of my favorite restaurants. It always a wonderful dining experience
It was delicious! Great service and friendly atmosphere!!
Another delicious meal at Vida and Comida! We shared a charcuterie platter and the bibb lettuce salad. I had the rack of lamb (one of my favorites), and my dining partner had the steak. Both were wonderful. We had churros for dessert. The food presentation is top-notch as is the service. Although more expensive than a typical BYOB, it is well worth the cost. We will happily return. Thanks for a great evening.
Our friends joined us for dinner and were very impressed with the selections on the menu. The corvina, paella, veal and crab & linguini entrees were all excellent. Another successful meal at Vida & Comida!
Always a great meal - great food, well prepared and interesting flavors. Highly recommend this restaurant
Excellent food and service.
it was our first visit. The menu offered many GF options. Food arrived at a nice place. The wait staff was very polite and attentive!
Delicious food. Menu has lots of fish options. Service excellent. Love the BYOB aspect. Will return again!!!
Great evening at Vida & Comida great food and great service as always
Best Paella I have had since I was in Valencia.
Service was wonderful as well.
Post Covid inoculated and 34th anniversary. Tim always makes us feel special!
The service was outstanding as was the food that we complemented with a Spanish cab (BYOB). Beautiful atmosphere. A true neighborhood gem and very romantic.
Food was superb and likewise for service!
Amazing food and service. Will definitely go back.
From start to finish our experience was perfection. The pulpo and paella were the best I have ever had. The restaurant has a cozy chic atmosphere, and our server Ricardo was fantastic. He suggested multiple items on the menu and all of them were spot on. We will definitely be coming back.
It is always a pleasant experience
Delicious meal. I had the Venison (addition to menu). It was a little salty but the wonderful sauce made up for it. Our waiter was wonderful.
I lived in Spain and I love to cook. Overall, we are pleasantly surprised. Most Spanish restaurants here are awful and overpriced. It's a low bar to clear and this restaurant just barely made it, but we will not come back. The octopus appetizer was very salty. How did they even manage that - salt the octopus overnight? The tarts: mushroom tart and apple tart for desert, were just dry puff pastry with toppings. That's not how you make a tart. It's supposed to be baked together so the flavors meld. Paella: no sofrito or saffron, heavy on tomatoes (which shouldn't be there on their own). I rest my case.
The waiter was spot on-responsive, professional, and prompt, but allowed us to finish our meal and enjoy a night out without the feeling of tables turning over quickly. Good food. Good times.
The grilled octopus was awesome. The next time we go, we are going to try the paella which smelled out of this world.
First time out to dinner in a awhile with your neighbors and it was wonderful! Great food and great time friends.
Really enjoyable - our second visit and the food once again was fantastic along with friendly attentive service. Atmosphere very relaxing. Can’t wait to dine there again.
