    Had such a wonderful experience. Our server, Kiana was amazing, very friendly and attentive to our order and our table needs. I will definitely recommend this restaurant for others! Enjoyed celebrating my birthday here.

    My fiancé didn’t get quality services from the host and she felt uncomfortable and unsafe at the location. The services was very unprofessional which is disappointing to me because I value black owned businesses.

    This place is a vibe with amazing service. However, the reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because the food. The oxtails and grits came w 2 oxtails for $35 price point. The steak was good but the eggs were scrambled too hard and not exciting. The catfish should have been seasoned and fried harder as well.

    A small group of us went to Victory Restaurant and Lounge for a last minute brunch plan. The morning of I was easily able to book a reservation for 3 originally at 12:15 pm, but after running late and being in a little traffic I was able to push by the reservation to 12:45 pm with ease through Open Table. This was our first time visiting and I can surely say I will be revisiting soon! Walking in the restaurant is nicely decorated with the floral esthetics! The vibe is definitely what you think of and plan for when it comes to “Sunday Brunch” with great music blasting and live DJ. They played R&B music with all the hits and made you want to do a day party afterwards lol. The restaurant is dimly lit but every table has a small lamp which was a nice touch. The restaurant is rather small but the seating is cozy with spacious booths for groups and small intimate tables for parties of 2. Everything on the menu sounds mouth watering, but my fiends and I all coincidentally ordered the crab and lobster omelette which was sooo good and I had a side of grits. The food was bomb! Collectively we had the slightest complaint that the omelette needed salt. They ordered a side of shrimp and said the shrimp was seasoned very well. We didn’t order alcoholic drinks so I can’t comment on that. But overall the place was vibeeeee and I want to return for lunch and dinner, and or try other dishes on the brunch menu!

    The waitress did not advise us that gratuity was included, and we paid an additional 45.00 dollars for mediocre service. The vibe was chill, the service was terrible, and the food was decent. I recommend coming here for a drink and hookah, but I'll pass for a brunch event.

    It was the hottest week of the year on record and there was no air in my section. Nor was i given the option to wait for a cooler section. The service was very slow. There was a bug in my drink twice ! The second time i didn’t catch it and i had to spit it out !! Unacceptable!!! Manager showed no concern whatsoever.

    My group and I loved our food and our waitress was great and on it for the bottomless brunch. However the ac was broken and it was in the high 80s when we went so that and drinking just didn’t go well together. This made for a very hot and uncomfortable set up.

    Restaurant was pretty cool. My only issue was it was so hot in there. Allegedly the ac was on, but i can’t see how. Bottomless mimosas and warm humid air don’t mix. It was a relief to walk outside. Also, the fried chicken was HEAVILY UNDER seasoned

    My friend and I went for a girls night. It took about 45 minutes before our waitress even approached us and took out orders. We both ordered food. My food came out about 20 minutes after ordering, but my friends food never came and we ordered the same exact thing. We asked our waitress several times about her food and after about 40 minutes we decided to just cancel.

    Food didn’t taste the same. Very disappointed in the chicken and waffles. The chicken is different from what I had maybe 2 years ago. Extremely small party wings and the taste is very different. My friend mentioned that their fish and grits were very salty.

    Poor service. Arrived to the restaurant 10mins before my reservation to find that myself and 3-4 parties with reservations had no table because we were told the restaurant was “overbooked for the night”. Aside from being “overbooked” the staff completely ignores customers at the host station, at the bar, even when we found a table to join the server was MIA for 30 minutes at a time. If you aren’t going here only to buy hookah or a bottle, don’t go.

    My best friend and I went to Victory Lounge for the first time last year August, the experience was very pleasant. The service was great! Last nights visit was not the same. My friend and I arrived around 11:45pm. The waitress seemed pushy and we were rushed to order. We were told we could not get a booth, and the lounge was not even packed and no one else came in. We were seated at a little table, where we did not seem to get the same attention or services. There were open booths all over the place. Our bill came up to almost $150 and the lounge closed at 1am. This experience was not a good one and we will not be returning.

    My friends and I decided to check out Victory for Saturday brunch! I must say off bat: their hookah is much better than any other place I’ve been to; so smooth and tasteful! The bottomless mimosas were great and the food was even better! Will I return: sure enough! The ambiance was great, the DJ was cool and our server (Jaela, the manager) was super nice!

    I try to support Blacked Businesses, but it never fails. There're always two issues; money hungry and customer service. They ran out of menu items which can happen but there's not a huge selection so why not ensure there's an adequate amount of food for a Brunch that you have EVERY weekend. The wait for the food was extremely long which is unacceptable. The kicker was them running out of Champagne at a bottomless Champagne Brunch. We had to sit there for about 25 minutes while one of the employees went to the liquor store. Our bill was $280 for 2 people which entailed; 2 entrees, 1 bottle of water (their "free" water is disgusting), 1 hookah and two bottomless Mimosas. Something didn't add up so I asked to speak to the manager who was of no help. After carefully reviewing the bill, the prices on their menu were different.... the manager pointed out a statement on the menu that said "prices are subject to change without notice" like really. Additionally, they charge you extra if you pay in cash...like why do I have to inherit your business credit card fee's? All in all I will never go back to this spot because the money vs the value does not add up. Black Business owners please do better.

    This ain’t yo aunties Sunday Brunch unless yo auntie is Sommore, Brittney Johnson or Taraji P. Henson. In that case you know the vibe! The Victory Brunch energy matched the food/service and was a winning combo. Things do get a bit more krunk at 1:30 but who cares with bottomless mimosas. #BrunchingDC
