Welcome to Victory Restaurant & Lounge.
We are located in Midtown Miami on 1st Avenue, located in between Tap 42 and Sugarcane. Rico Young and Tobias Dorzon are excited to bring the concept they thought of years ago to Midtown. Rico, an entrepreneur, first met Chef Tobias via mutual clients of theirs. Opportunities arose and Miami became the location for Victory after an extensive search. Although COVID-19 put our plans on hiatus, we are excited to welcome you back.
We highly recommend reservations via OT or phone. Specifically, on weekends and our weekend Brunch Parties.
Victory offers New American cuisine with thoughtful touches by Chef Tobias.

Great experience, loud atmosphere other than music. Music is good
Celebrating a friends birthday. This is my second time at Victory and it amazing all over again. I will definitely be back!!
Loved it love love it
Food was good, atmosphere was awesome good music. We were seated right away
A must go to spot I really enjoyed myself. The music was awesome
Experience was everything
My experience was an experience to remember!! I enjoyed every moment. I received two calls confirming my appointment, which was great customer service! Upon arriving , we were seated immediately! The food, drinks, desert, energy was 5 Stars! I spent my 37th Birthday here this past weekend! It was a great feeling to be from Dallas and showed so much love in Miami! The owner was very involved and friendly! Your restaurant was one for the books!! Victory made my 37th Birthday So Amazing!! The DJ was TURNT!!! GOOD TIMES,GOOD VIBES AND GOOD ENERGY!! Coming back with my girls soon!!
The decor was really nice, definitely a turn up day party restaurant . No problem with that but we waited an hour to be seated because they don’t have a table time limit. Which is silly because your losing business. Fish and grits were good together. Order a few side of the fish and they were a bit bland. The bread pudding was outstanding. The manager comped us 3 drinks for the wait. Good customer service .
So amazing. Great food the ambiance is like an urban vibe with a garden feel. Loved it.
Service was great. Food was very good
They played loud Pop Smoke music for a while which I didn't like. The food took a long time to come out. The food was good so it leveled out.
Everything was amazing. Definitely will come again, the only take away I have is that the portion size is just a bit small, but anything other then that I had an amazing experience.
The water was warm! The food came out NOT HOT but the food was DELICIOUS!! Great Flavors!! And My Drink was Amazing (Owners Favorite)! I give the total experience 8/10...
Amazing keep the service fast and hospitable. Second time coming and it was just as great as the first time.
The food was great. I had the chicken and waffles and my friend had the shrimp and grits. We got bottomless mimosas as well and the waitress did not let our glasses stay empty!
Everything was great! The food, the drinks, the service! Great way to celebrate a birthday!
It was a nice experience I will consider visiting again soon
It was a look of fun. My husband and I ate dinner and shared a few laughs while watching the game.
Server brung out wrong salad and tried to tell me that’s what I ordered. The main dishes were ok but nothing spectacular 🥴 (shrim/lobster pasta only
Had two small pieces of lobster in it and the shrimp were pretty big and I felt like they needed to be cooked just a tad bit longer . Our drinks (Strawberry Henny) had bad strawberries as the garnish. The seating is very small outside and seems crowded together. It is more club like than actual 5star restaurant. I had been to the Chefs fist restaurant in DC and there is no comparing the two . I just expected a much better experience.
First off! I went during covid, the seating was all outside leaving me out in 90° weather with two fans for 7 sitting areas. Nevertheless, the service was superb and the seafood omelet was awesome. I loved my true mimosa. Would definitely go back for a dinner reservation.
My food got “lost” as my waiter told me so my friend ate his whole meal before I got me. And when it did come it was cold. I didn’t even want it anymore
Server was great. However Service is slow over 1hour wait for 2 orders of chicken and waffles when they came it was all dark meat! We don’t eat dark meat normally all chicken and waffles are wings or white meat. Drinks good but again slow. Music tooooo loud could not hear each other talking. Since it’s a small space should be lower
Wish them well work needed
Great food and service! Will definitely be back!
Great atmosphere. Waiter Melissa was very attentive as well as the other staff
food was great. music was okay, our server was super nice!
I enjoyed the Lobster Grilled Cheese with Truffle Fries. The restaurant looks great and the service was great the day I visited. The price point is higher than the places that I normally dine but I think it is worth the investment if you love delicious food as I do.
Greeter and server both where pleasant and accommodating. The interior ambiance appeared live and chic (dined in the patio area due to Covid-19 restrictions). The patio area set up was fair. We ordered egg rolls and wings as an appetizer and those were good. As entrees we ordered the lobster fried rice and the appearance was exceptional. However upon cutting into the lobster, a pungent odor amassed the entire table, strike one. We also ordered the chicken and waffles, were the waffle was standard however for the price I would have expected white meat or half chicken, instead of a leg quarter, Strike two. Finally we also ordered the lobster Mac and it was actually tasty but the core was luke warm. The server did attempt to remedy our displeasure by providing additional appetizers. For the most part the place has the potential to be a gem of Midtown, especially if the kitchen receives a little more oversight and attention to detail.
Due to the Covid times this review is probably a little off. They were not allowed to play loud music and only offered outside seating. I imagine normally the noise level is a lot more. Anyways- the service was great! Our waiter was very down to earth, cool, informative, attentive and just overall a good person. He offered great service - came and refilled our glasses of wine. The hostess was nice and offered friendly customer service as well. I ordered a salad and it had too much seasoning and was drenched in the dressing. The other diner had the Thai jerk wings and was happy with that. The hookah was AMAZING! Very smooth and good flavor. I was impressed ( I need the formula on how to make it so good lol)
One thing I will say- the bathroom could be renovated and more cleanly. There should be a bathroom attendant cleaning in between customers during these times. I think they could take greater measures to ensure cleanliness right now. I wasn’t impressed with the condition of the bathroom. The rest of the restaurant was very neat so the bathroom surprisingly didn’t match the venue in my opinion.
I would like to come back once things are more normal and try it out. I heard bad things about it initially so I was hesitant but after visiting, I am pleased. When you have patience and not feel entitled and treat people with respect, you have a good experience at restaurants typically. The staff the day I went were friendly and nice.
Every time I visit Miami, I make sure I go to Victory and it is always a vibe! Always a good time. The food is amazing and the ambiance is perfect. It is great to see a new restaurant with an upbeat energy in the Midtown area. Make sure you make a reservation, because it is just that popping. Although I have walked in and been seated in that moment, it never hurts to make a reservation. Pricing is just right and the service is great as well!
Victory is definitely one of my top go-to places when in town! Highly recommend!
Excellent food and great vibe. Very slow with getting the food out but made up for it with how great the food was.
Everything is awesome great place to relax and eat some good food and enjoy some music and hookah
Nice vibe, food & service was good. I will come every time I visit
Someone Couldn’t Pay Me To Complain About Anything... Food & Service Was Amazing🔥
Everything about the experience was top notch from the food to the drinks and even the hookah. DJ Stevo is the perfect DJ for the atmosphere as the vibes were perfect. The only criticism I have was that the food took a little longer to be served to us but once we notified our server, she spoke with management and they discounted our bill. Definitely will support this establishment again as much as possible.
Unfortunately. I had a bad experience here. Drove all the way from WDC - made reservations at 5:30pm never received food. 9pm I asked for a Manager - he apologized & packed our food to go. Just disappointed - specially when trying to "support black businesses"
Waited a hour for French toast and never received it.
You all need to get rid of the bottle service requirement. it is distasteful. victory is a damn restaurant not a club!!!!! and y'all are located in midtown across from lime. please stop it. trying to hold inside seating for certain type of guest, at the end of day I made reservations for INSIDE so that where I want to sit, and that vip bottle guy really tried to insult my intelligence he also poses as a manager. and the whole "2hour" seating limit is very bogus. if I am spending money somewhere I shouldn't be told when I need to get up. the first time I ate here that didn't happen. but this second time was trash. we were seated at 740 pm and the vip guy was asking to get up at 9!!!!!!!! not even 2 hours. I really didn't want to cause a scene because he very well deserved it. I will not! be back. black ppl learn how to conduct real business. ! your goal should be for customers to come back because they enjoyed their experience . you all are just Money hungry. taking my business to Bar one. I actually would have expected such from them because they are way more upscale. that vip person is going to run victory to the ground.mark by words.
Great food great customer service 5 star service
This place gets everything right. The food is delicious and high quality. We ordered the crab fries as our appetizer and WOW!! It was excellent. Restaurants usually overdo fillers and skimp on the seafood in dishes to the point where you can hardly taste it. Not here. The crab was fresh, plentiful and jumbo lump. Same for my entree—the shrimp and lobster pasta—lots of flavorful seafood, no fillers.
Hubby had the chicken and waffles, also very good although the powdered sugar sprinkle made it a little too sweet for his taste. But he just would request it without sugar next time. And there will be a next time.
Dessert was epic. Hennessy bread pudding. Mic drop.
Service was impeccable and attentive and the restaurant is gorgeous. Lots of eye candy decor and a sexy lounge vibe. Hip hop/r &b music videos play on multiple screens, hooka is offered, a large bar with seating, tables or booths, your choice. There’s a beautiful outdoor area with plush pillowed booths and tables.
The wait staff mentioned Sundays are their busiest day, when they have a DJ. We will definitely be returning for that!
A few days ago myself and two other friends had a reservation for 10:15pm I got a text message and I called to change my reservation to 9:45 which we stay in Broward so we had to basically fly there to be there on time. Mind you I was told that the kitchen closes at 10:30 we got there on time they try to sit out somewhere where it would’ve been uncomfortable for me because I am a plus size lady so they set us in a booth we ordered our food we ordered our drinks we also ordered a hookah about 20-30 minutes later The hostess who seated us walks up to us and says I do apologize but we do have to move you, you can sit at this table or you can sit outside before we sat down the conversation of the chair for me we already went over this So she then said OK you can sit outside we were like well we made reservations why do we have to sit outside we don’t want to sit outside while then I will get a manager she got the manager the manager excuse was that the booth was already sold to another party prior to us coming but no one mentioned that before seating us so we were asked to either go sit somewhere that was going to be uncomfortable for me or go seat outside we left because that’s not how you do business we spoke to a manager on the phone the day after and we were told because we weren’t spending $3000 or more that’s why we had to be moved the service there is ridiculous the lack of customer service that they have I will never return to this establishment ever again
