Everything was fabulous and on point. Food was spectacular and service was superb. Can’t wait to go back again :)
I will preface this by saying I'm from Toronto and am a huge foodie. I travel the world to eat and I can truly say that this was an amazing dining experience. Surprisingly they only opened two weeks prior. I've eaten at restaurants that have been in business for years that don't get it as right as this restaurant did.
From the amazing food (bone marrow, burrata and grape salad, onion rings, rib eye perfectly cooked, brocollini and Gnuddi (one of the best I've ever had), to the very reasonably priced yet amazing wine, I say run don't walk. Just make sure you leave me two seats......
My husband and I dined with two friends. It was a lovely evening, the staff were incredible. Very attentive and so positive. I had the tenderloin steak and it was done to perfection. The Victoria's Salad was delicious and I loved the shrimp cocktail! Prices are on the high side and there are a lot of a la carte options. I recommend the G&T - fabulous!
We are huge Caro fans so we've been waiting patiently for the opening of Victoria's, driving by it, just longing for the paper to be removed from the windows and for the door to be flung open.
We got our opportunity to try it out on Saturday night. We took an early reservation so there weren't a ton of people in there, but during the time we were there a number of tables were seated and the buzz began.
First, it's a beautiful space. Well designed and decorated. Elegant but not fussy, and classy but super comfortable. The full-wall banquette in navy blue is beautiful. We enjoyed the playlist as well.
The cocktails were interesting, tasty, and not super expensive. The bar looks awesome, and it's clearly well-stocked. The dinner menu isn't huge but there are lots of different things to appeal to different tastes. There are even vegan items (at a steak house!).
We started with buratta and crostini. Excellent way to start. Just enough for 2 people to share, not a bit left over, but enough to get a great taste. I had the striploin steak with heirloom beets and whipped potatoes on the side. The steak was spectacular. 12oz for $50.00 plus extra for the sides. It was awesome and worth the premium price tag. Missus had the Waygu burger and frites. She devoured it and loved every bite.
We are not normally the dessert type, but this time we tried the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse, both receiving high marks. Rob and Kelsey who took care of us were phenomenal.
So, you should go. Soon. It's delicious. The staff were amazing. Cory had a great vision for this and brought it to life in spectacular fashion. Well done guys.

The food!!! The ambiance!!! The service!!! All score A+++. Victoria’s fills a void in Hamilton for an exceptional Steak & Seafood Restaurant! Everything is on point!!! I’ll dream about those crab cakes & steak for months to come!
We had a great dinner with friends. We all ordered something different and everything was very tasty and beautifully presented. Some of the portions were quite small for the amount we paid. The waitstaff were attentive but not intrusive, making for a lovely relaxed evening. The wine was good but a little overpriced, especially by the glass. ($22 for 9 oz.) Great ambiance, very tasteful and classy.
We were 4 guests including a vegetarian. The service was very attentive and caring. Cocktails were very good, we shared an excellent burrato salad. All four entrees were beautifully plated and with excellent flavor. A highlight was the cornish hen and the Gnudi (for the vegetarian). Beautiful transformation of the building as well. Just maybe need soe curtains on the front window.
Everything was delicious, can’t wait to see what else is to come!
