Sub par food, service is not much better. The server needed proper training. Pouring wine over another guests shoulder from across the other side of the table and spilling every single time, no check on the steaks after serving? Definately not a fine dining establishment as the prices suggest. We ordered king crab legs that were the size of dungeness, they should not ever serve king crab that size, throw it back. The steaks were cold, one steak you could not even cut it with the steak knives provided. I noticed after the dinner it is considered or classified a “Steakhouse”, I would skip this place. Leave it for the tourists. Go to Gotham, Hy’s or a proper steakhouse. This needs to be improved like the rest of the run down hotel. We will not be back.

Victor has been a favourite of mine since it opened. Unfortunately, it has changed and is not what it once was. The food was okay at best. We ordered Tuna Tataki and it was not very fresh. Service was good and they rectified this. But overall, the restaurant seems worn out and tired looking. It’s too bad.

It was a beautiful night with the outside doors open for fresh warm evening air to fill the whole room. Our server Bridget was exceptional and all staff were as friendly as ever. Nick was kind enough to give us a wonderfully delicious Scallop appetizer that we devoured. Our guests were very impressed and we truly had a great evening. Thankyou. Wade

The experience overall at the Victor for the Sunday brunch buffet was superb . My only feedback if they can offer a few more dishes (prawns , salmon lax etc ) would be great while maintaining the high quality . Regardless we’d love to come back

We had an amazing Sunday brunch at The Victor. The food was delicious, and the restaurant feels upscale but not stuffy. Our servers were all super friendly and made great recommendations. It's definitely on the pricier side, but honestly, it was such a treat and the perfect venue to catch up with friends and celebrate. I'm already planning to go back!

I was quite disappointed with the service during our recent visit. It felt as though we were largely unattended—we had to pour our own water, and on multiple occasions, we had to flag down other staff members just to get in touch with our server. On the food side, 3 out of 4 dishes were very good, but unfortunately, one steak was noticeably undercooked. Victor used to be one of our favourite go-to restaurants, but something seems to have changed over the past year or two. It feels like things are moving in the wrong direction, which is really unfortunate for a place we once loved.

The food was good but honestly I’ve had much better filet mignon. We tried the waffle macaroni as we’ve never had this before and it was way over cooked and awful. I do not recommend this item. The broccolini was very good. The service was excellent and the ambiance was nice. Unfortunately we were seated next to 20 very loud men so our dining experience wasn’t wonderful. They could have taken a better view at where they placed a table of 2 as the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy when we arrived. Overall it’s a nice rooftop restaurant and worth trying but I would probably just go for drinks and apps next time.

We greatly enjoyed our dinner at The Victor. We had a sushi roll, arancini balls and crab cake appies. All were outstanding. For main, we shared the Waygu Rib Eye, along with brussel sprouts and mushrooms. Dessert was the chocolate cake with whiskey caramel sauce. Divine!!
