It was so lovely to sit out on the patio this past Saturday! Such a wonderful birthday experience especially due ng times like this!!
All-time favorite restaurant!!
Very romantic, especially the patio tables around the fountain. Blankets and heater provided for a chilly night. Service , amazing, food incredible!!! Definitely recommend this restaurant
The food was good, especially the onion rings...we will return for those!
The atmosphere was awesome - feels like a Vegas patio. Unfortunately the service was lacking. The server was nice but we had to ask repeatedly for items that we ordered. We asked five times to have heater turned on.
Our server made our night! Carolyn was a gem and we are already planning our next visit! The patio is so well done, feel safe and get to enjoy the sun. Love the fact you’re prepared with blankets. Best experience during the pandemic this far!
Our server made our night! He was super funny and thoughtful. Food was excellent! Will be back for sure.
It was our anniversary and we received a glass of champagne. Was very thoughtful. The food was delicious, enjoyed everything definitely coming back.
Absolutely loved our dinner at Parq! The server was excellent, very genuine and made incredible recommendations.
Victor is the best! From the friendly and helpful hostesses to the chefs who prepare the perfect meal. You will not find a better place for a nice dinner in Vancouver.
Everything about the experience was lovely except for closer to the end of the evening I felt like everything got rushed and kind of took away from the experience
Had an excellent anniversary dinner here; staff absolutely took care of us and ensured we had a great experience. Food was delicious- ordered more than necessary (portions bigger than expected!). If you enjoy Brussels sprouts TRY THEM- delicious! (As was everything else). Thank you again to the Victor staff for making our night one to remember
Their supper menu on weekdays was pretty good and everything was very tasty. Wine flight could be better though.
Great server
Very friendly
Server wasn’t very polite and rushed us out of our reservation:(. Disappointed in
Second visit to the Victor. Great meal for 3 of us . Service is also excellent. Little bit cold being out on the patio, but they did have heaters and blankets. My wife raved about the Salmon Steak.
Easter dinner. Amazing food, service and drinks
Birthday, very good experience overall, apart from two loud tables
Beautiful restaurant with an acceptable steakhouse menu. Ambiance is modern and fashionable. Service was that professional steakhouse level that I love.
The menu is unique and the options were interesting, but execution was below what I'd expect from the price point: the tempura was pressed into my pureed potatoes, so it arrived at the table soggy; the steak was overcooked; the poblano peppers and the carrots that accompanied the steaks were not especially flavourful (I could taste the quite-nice salt flakes more than the flavour of the vegetable), so added nothing to the meal.
Great service and decor made up for it and the overall experience was pleasant, but it won't become one of my favourite restaurants until they get the food just right.
We had the outstanding service from Philip! Food was amazing & ambiance was great.
Richard was our server and he was absolutely delightful! Always checking in on us, offering refills and making great conversations.
The scallops and pork belly was very disappointing
Customer service was exceptional, our server Christian was great. All good was delicious and matches their prices/value except the sashimi was average compared to other restaurant.
The appetizers and steaks were outstanding. The steaks were cooked exactly to order and were beautifully presented. The truffle mayonnaise with the “frites” was a welcome surprise. The dessert, described as dolce de lèche doughnuts, was served in a nest of spun sugar with gold flakes highlights. Unfortunately the doughnuts proved unworthy of the ostentatious presentation. The meal was great despite the mediocre dessert. Service was great, attentive but not overwhelming.
Very lovely atmosphere. Service is great. And steak is amazing. Better than Gotham!
My fav is their creme Brulee donuts with Maple Syrup cotton candy!
Rio assisted us. Has amazing service. Sushi and dessert was good but our entree was disappointment. Came to celebrate my birthday and was not happy with the a5 wagyu and filet mignon and sablefish. A5 wagyu tasted burnt and wasn’t that medium rare inside. The filet mignon tasted bland also sable fish is huge disappointment. It taste plain. Overall only satisfied with the sushi and sashimi. Last time I had a5 wagyu they sliced it up and it tasted amazing. Not sure why this time it tastEd like garbage. Also the ladies holding the plates out kept having their fingers inside the plate. Need more training with the ladies who bring out the food cause their fingers kept touching the side of the food and I didn’t want to tell them to go make me another one because we’re on a time limit dining.
My friends and I had a great time. It was awesome
We had such an amazing dinner! The food was impeccable and the service was divine! Such an incredible experience.
We had a great time! It was my husbands birthday and the server brought us a delicious slice of cake.
We can’t wait to go back!
Service was poor, food was cold.
Server came to grab my empty dirty dishes “asked how was everything” and walked away. I never got the chance to say it was bad and I wasn’t happy.
Been here many times, and have always been happy about service, but last night’s service was painfully slow. We had to ask for share plates for our appies, and our main was a shared porter house and branzino - we had to ask for plates to eat our meal! I never got my drink, and wait time overall for each course averaged about 20+ minutes, and our coffees came about 15 minutes after we finished our dessert. We all have our off days - so hopefully next time will be better.
I Went there for my birthday and the food, service and over all restaurant was amazing
Overall we were Disappointed, Food quality has gone down a lot compared to the last time we were there approx 18 months ago. Not worth the price in my opinion. Way overpriced for the quality of food we received. The only thing they nailed was the French fries ( for the kids ) and the dessert ( whisky cake is as always amazing ) we were all very disappointed with the quality of our meals scallops , filet 9oz steak , sable fish . Brussels.
Service was very slow however server was excellent, (knowledgeable polite friendly apologetic she had overall great energy ) ambiance was excellent , restaurant was full. Won’t be returning anytime soon for a dinner.
The manager and staff are always very friendly and genuinely interested in our enjoying our experience.

Aburi salmon was very good. Everything was fresh and tasty. Music was louder than ideal. Difficult to converse esp during pandemic with masks. Otherwise, service was very good.
The husband and I planned a date night out to The Victor this past Sunday evening. We had been to pricey restaurants in Vancouver before, but this one was by far worth every penny spent. The food was amazing... the Japanese Wagyu was outstanding!! Our waiter cooked the wagyu right at our table. The service was great, we got a personal greeting from the chef at our table! The Victor has by far made its way to the top of our list as our favourite restaurant downtown!
This restaurant had a comfortable, modern vibe to its decor and not too noisy so you could talk comfortably. The food was exceptional - we had the "Sunday Spoils" set menu. The prices were in line with other steakhouse restaurants, but their portions were more generous. We cannot wait to come back!
It was surprisingly busy (during Covid) and the service and food were slow. The Ahi tuna starter was amazing.
The service was really poor, they were too worried about us leaving in a hurry to serve us properly. We were unable to even enjoy a proper conversation as we were interrupted at least every 3-4 min during the entire time we were there.
A good place to dine with friends and family. Pricing is pretty good.
Enjoyed the evening
Staff are friendly and helpful
this would be great after covid 2 nd time here and both times great food and service.
