Service was great, but food is so overpriced for what it is.
My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at Victor. Great service! Our waitress she was really nice, quick and efficient. The restaurant location was easy to find. It looks clean and welcoming. Also, next door is d6 bar and lounge if u want to go for drinks.
We went to The Victor for our anniversary, and we felt that the staff made a genuine effort to help us celebrate. We were seated and immediately served a glass of Prosecco to toast our special day. We had a lovely meal, including the endive/apple salad and the salmon and scallops entrees. The staff were very attentive and the ambiance very comfortable. It turned out to be a lovely celebration. Our thanks to The Victor for a great evening.
The restaurant is on the 6th floor of the hotel with a beautiful garden view. The service and food are very good and reasonably priced. You could try your luck at the casino before or after dinner.
Everything about this restaurant was okay. The wait times for drinks, food, water, etc were extremely long, there was nothing special about the food and half of what we ordered was bland. Service was B level and not attentive.
Went there last Friday evening
for a Birthday dinner.
Service, food, atmosphere were
All very good.

Friend ‘s birthday
Service and food were excellent. Will definitely come back again!
Service was so slow drinks were empty before server came by. Second time here won’t be back.
The food took a long time to come out. We had a server and manager tell us at different times that it was coming.
We recently dined at The Victor for my wife’s birthday and had an amazing experience. First off the beautiful rooftop water feature really sets the stage for the entire evening. We had an earlier reservation but the restaurant lounge was already bustling with guests and live jazz music for their happy hour seating. The live music created a great ambiance and was a welcomed surprise.
Our waiter Fraser was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food menus, cocktails and wine. He took the time to guide us through the menus and helped select wine pairings for our appetizers and a fantastic bottle of wine to enjoy with dinner.
The food was outstanding. We started with a little sushi and fresh seafood before moving on to steak for dinner. Both our steaks were cooked exactly as we requested. Perfection. The GM Natalia stopped by to wish my wife a happy birthday which really made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. A small gesture but a level of detail that’s absent at many high end establishments in the city. Overall an outstanding evening. We will definitely return.
This is my 2nd time at Victor and the food never disappoints. The service was mostly good, however, once our food arrived our waiter disappeared and my wine glass was empty for quite sometime.
It was our 25th wedding anniversary celebration dinner. Amazing. We felt welcomed and honoured to have celebrated our milestone at The Victor. Our waiter ensured we were looked after.
Will definitely celebrate there again.

Great food! Nice view of BC Place and patio, decor was really nice. They didn't have the Italian pinot Grigio we wanted. Fine... we'll have the Cedar Creek Pinot Gris which was recommended and was okay. When our server came to refill our wine, he poured chardonnay. He quickly remedied it and we were comped one glass of wine. He was running around to so many tables that we know he was given too many tables. Best crab cake I've ever had! And the triple cooked fries!!! OMG! Just like they make in England. So good! Will be back!
I had made reservations for 5 and indicated prior that it was my wife's birthday. Not impressed with the table selection or the food. Furthermore, my son and I ordered steaks, medium which were well done. My wife ordered the salmon, very salty. All had to be sent back. We were quite disappointed and told the manager and all he could come up with is, "we're sorry". Not the memorable birthday celebration that we were hoping for. Very disappointing!!!
This is definitely a restaurant that we'll return to soon. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, our waiter was very attentive... a great place to go as a couple or with friends.
Dear FrancineL, Thank you so much for your excellent review and your patronage at The Victor. We are happy to know your dining experience was enjoyable, elevated by the perfectly cooked filet mignon and attentive service. On behalf of The Victor and Parq Vancouver family, we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Warmest Regards, Emily Davis Community Relations
Nice atmosphere and good food . However the parking fee at hotel is super expensive ! They should consider to reimburse the parking fee on the food bill .
Went here with a group of friends and we had a really great time! We sat where the patio was and it was beautiful weather! They have a tasting menu for $50 which includes an appetizer, main course and dessert! What a steal! I had the lobster and crab bisque which was super creamy and yummy! Nice presentation as well. For the main course, I had salmon and it was a good size portion and cooked perfect! Really moist and yummy! For dessert, I had the coconut cake, not too sweet which goes great with coffee! Overall an awesome experience!
Dear Alom, Thank you for your wonderful review and your patronage at The Victor. We are delighted to know that you had an enjoyable dining experience with us. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Warmest Regards, Emily Davis Community Relations
I was recommended by a colleague and he was right. This place does not disappoint, unless they are understaffed. The food was amazing, but a few times we wanted our waiter but he was no where to be found. Half the night we dealt with someone else. Overall it was worth it and enjoyed it very much.
Dear TonyO, Thank you for your review and your patronage at The Victor. We are happy to know that your dining experience was enjoyable and that the food hit the mark. We will continue to work on the service consistency piece to ensure future visits are a seamless experience. We look forward to welcoming you back to The Victor and Parq Vancouver soon. Warmest Regards, Emily Davis Community Relations
Everything was amazing!! Greeted with a huge smile! Server was amazing and food was incredible
Amazing food, but horrible customer service. When we arrived we waited 5mins at the front desk before hostess greeted us, waited another 45mins for our table even though we had a reservation. Other than the poor customer service, food was amazing
It was all good except the bill paying time. It took at least 15 mins for the card machine to accept my gift card. One of the head waiters returned to my table a few times to explain that my gift card was not excepted. After numerous tries, they finally switch card machine, which worked.
It was a mechanical problem and not the head waiter or staff problem.
However it did take away from the evening experience.
This restaurant is great and never disappoints...been there several times now and will definitely go back.
Thanks for putting us beside the washroom for my friend's birthday.
We went to celebrate our anniversary. Our requests for a quiet table was met. It was so nice to receive such nice service. Our server was very knowledgeable and a very good communicator. Very warm hearted and sincere. The champagne was an added bonus and the happy anniversary piece was sweet. Entire staff was kind and pleasant. Will definite go back with friends and family. Well done !
The filet mignon was literally one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life, it melted like butter. Exceptional service.
Matthew C. Was a great and well experienced waiter with good knowledge of the drink and food menus! Would ask for him again if we were to dine while he's working. My girlfriends filet mignon steak was the best we've had, as it was soft and firm! Barely needed a knife. Will comeback and order again!
An AMAZING meal, with great service and atmosphere. I always leave The Victor satisfied and looking forward to the next time I’ll be back! Love this place for date nights, girls nights and everything in between! My current fave restaurant 😃
Great overall experience with my wife. We were here celebrating our 1yr anniversary. Premium service and food!
Birthday celebration was okay been here before but this time seemed okay
We were there for our son's birthday. Food is fresh and tasty and service is excellent. Had a great time there
This was our anniversary dinner and what a wonderful evening it turned out to be. Everything exceeded our expectations. The service was amazing, the food was perfectly prepared and delicious, and everything about the evening - including the special anniversary dessert was beyond expectations.
Great service and amazing food. One of our fav places!
I like this restaurant however their receptionists are very rude according to my several visits, and at least waiting for 20’m even reservation has been made. Other then that is all nearly perfect.
The food was superb. I wasn’t able to get the reservation when I wanted around 7 but I took 9:30pm. We arrived early and went across the Parq for drinks at D6. The atmosphere was wonderful relaxing and the cocktails were on point. We went over to Victor at 9:15 and got a nice window seat overlooking the water and Vancouver Harbor The lobster and crab bisque fresh rich yet light and crab cake was moist and meaty and beautifully presented started an epic experience I ordered the whole Branzino which was fried, I usually prefer it steamed but it was crisp and well flavored and My Man had lamb and was quite pleased ~ As it was my birthday we of course had to indulge and our waiter added candles and made it special. Overall I loved everything. Wish it was in Minneapolis but whenever I visit Vancouver I will definitely go back
We had high hopes for the Victor, the server was nice but couldnt really recommend us good food in general, we asked alot about different foods and he couldnt really share what were popular dishes, etc not too sure if he has even tried the food here. It took us a long time to decide our entrees as we didnt have any soulshare or anything from the server. We were quite disapointed with the sushi recommendation he gave us. For entrees I got the Seafood mix, and my friend the surf and turf. So overpriced for an entree that almost had no taste to it, the ambience is beautiful, host were really nice and wine was good.
We came to celebrate a family birthday. Having been a couple times before,
Great place for special events such as anniversaries or birthdays. The view is amazing. We got the tomahawk steak and 2 other steaks shared between 5 people. We like our steaks rare but for the tomahawk I was recommended to get medium-rare. It was over cooked to medium-well. I didn’t send it back because it took almost an hour for the food and it’ll be another hour to cook a new tomahawk while we were hungry.
came here for our wedding anniversary. decided to eat dt cause we were going to a show. setting is beautiful especially at night. food was good but not outstanding. appy portions are super small and less than the size of tapas, definitely not worth the price. the entree portions are fair sized and priced accordingly for a steakhouse. service was on point and we never had to wait long for anything. id recommend it if you were dt but not a place id likely go to again.
The shrimp tempura was amazing, the porterhouse was tender, and the mashed potatoes was one of the best I’ve had. Matthew was great and attentive.
