Overall was very good.
Lunch was excellent. Very pleasant waiter Victor
We had a party of 12. We were given a nice table outside. Superb!
Chris was very helpful. Expensive but the ambiance is very nice specially outside.
The food is terrible, overcooked, under seasoned, large portions being given to compensate for the awful quality. And the prices are stratospheric. In terms of value for money, a big zero.
The dining experience was great and the food was very tasteful.
Great food, Fantastic Service!! Love their Market next door.
Excellent! Food and service.
The food and waitstaff are amazing. We love Matilda she is the best!
The perfect spot to dine alfresco. Professional staff in the kitchen and attending to the tables. Great menu. Freshly prepared Italian specialties. Always delicious.
It was a nice evening. Good was very good but a bit expensive.
Birthday for my brother in law
my favorite restaurant in Carnegie Hill. Great staff and great food!
Beautifully decorated outdoor tables, but not great for breakfast/brunch. Quite pricy for breakfast food that is not exactly great. Wish that I could have provided a more positive review since the staff were friendly. Perhaps would have had far more positive feedback if I'd visited for lunch or dinner.
Chris the host was very accommodating. We had a nice table for four outside. Must check it out. A bit expensive but typical Carnegie Hill prices.
Consistently good food and ‘award-winning’ outdoor space—so pretty.
Waiter ok but kitchen messed up. Waited over 45 minutes for food and then the pasta dish was uncooked!
This is second time I’ve experienced poor service
Price does not warrant such poor service
Dinner was great. Beautiful outdoor seating. Very busy so I recommend you book in advance.
We were there for brunch and Jesus our waiter was spot on. The GM was very helpful with accommodating our seat needs specially with two kids. Excellent neighborhood restaurant.
Service is better in the restaurant itself than outside.
We choose Vicolina to celebrate our anniversary because of its excellent reputation. The food was amazing and the service was 5 star.
Amazing. Food service. Ambiance. A go to place that will never disappoint.
Ridiculously expensive. Food was good …but man! I had a beet salad with grilled chicken for lunch , it was a whopping $32!!! I should have paid attention to the extra cost of $12 for the chicken!!! My husband had pasta with meat sauce. Neither of us got a drink ( just water). With tip, our lunch of a salad and a pasta was $77!!!
Though the food was good, don’t think we will return.
Great meal. Outdoor seating is very nice. Victor our waiter was excellent. We will back again soon.
Enjoyed eating outside in the very special space. Food was delicious and the service was wonderful!
Short rib special to die for!!!!! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Perfecto!!!
Standard but well-prepared Italian fare. Small food and alcohol menu but with some nice liquor selections. Worth an occasional visit if in the neighborhood.
Dinner was great. First time dining at Vicolina from LES and I must say we were blown away.
Everything was excellent and food was very well prepared.
I had the Lobster salad special and the King salmon. Both dishes were perfect and service was excellent. Set at their air conditioned outdoor seating. We will be back soon. Good job.
Vicolina is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, especially since the long-time neighborhood favorite that was directly across Madison Avenue moved East and changed format. Each of our party of four found the food to be very good: well prepared and well presented. The menu and specials were diverse and interesting.
The outstanding feature of the evening was the service. The front-of-house staff are pros. Responsive with great timing.
A knowledgeable wine person in our party found the wine list to be expensive across the range of quality red wines offered.
My only complaint is being seated in the very well-done pandemic outdoor sidewalk structure. Perhaps the best in the city, it still ruined the ambience. This would not have been the case had our expectations been set by being told in advance that that is were we would be seated.
Great staff and great food. Will be back
We chose to eat indoors because it was drizzling and humid outdoors but their outdoor terrace was well protected and we would have been fine there. The indoor dining room was beautiful. We were there for lunch - I chose to have a brunch entree while my friend had chicken. We were both happy with our choices. We would certainly go back, but we are now aware that it’s fairly pricey.
Great experience. They recently added Ac to the outdoor steering. Very comfortable and enjoyable. Service was very good and the food was excellent as well.
Julio was our server. Very good job. Prices are high but portion are generous. Club feel and most diners knows each other’s. The place to be :)
Sat outside in their newly air conditioned outdoor seating. Very comfortable. Very busy restaurant but overall it was a very good experience. Back soon.
We requested inside and they sat us outside. It was very hot. The service was very slow. The food was average and extremely overpriced. Then they had the gall to add Covid surcharge which is optional at most restaurants. Very disappointing.
We do our best to accommodate seating requests but cannot always give guests their first choice. A Covid recovery surcharge of up to 10% was introduced by the city as an option to help restaurants during the pandemic. The 3% charge is marked on our menus to avoid surprise and also appears on customer receipts. We apologize for your less than satisfactory experience, please do contact us - we would like to invite you back to Vicolina with $50 credit towards your next meal.
Exceptional food/service as always!
food did not taste as good as it usually does and the menu felt boring.
Our main menu features Vicolina classic favorites, we're sorry to hear that the specials didn't entice you and that the food was not as you were expecting. Please contact us by phone or email, we would like to offer you $50 credit towards your next visit with us.
