Vicky's of Santa Fe
Very nice ! Service excellent, food good , entertainment awesome
I was very disappointed this was our second visit and it was awful. The food was bland and way over priced. Our waiter was not very friendly but did get our food out in a timely matter. I will not be returning.
Food was very bland, wait staff was inattentive. Wine recommendation was good.
The sides were delicious, the wine selection was good. Our steaks had no flavor I didn’t even eat mine. Everyone else said their entries were just ok. The waiter asked if there was something wrong with my steak because he noticed I didn’t eat it. I said yes that it didn’t taste good and he didn’t offer any compensation. I am not a complainer nor do I ask for compensation but I feel he should have offered to take it off our bill. Our waiter never smiled, his personality was uncomfortably dull. The restaurant was beautiful and had great ambiance. Our waiter did secure us a seat in the bar which was nice. The bottom line is, the food was expensive and the taste didn’t warrant the price. We will not be back.
Monday night chicken dinner special was excellent and plentiful. Good service in a pleasant atmosphere. Bar menu is good but it is noisy in the bar so we usually opt to eat in the dining room.
There were six of us dining at Vicky's and all of us were very impressed with the quality of the food. Our meals were excellent. The wait staff outstanding, cordial and energetic. Our server Carla was the best!! A great evening all around.
We were seated right on time for our reservation. Signs say Proper Attire Required. We found it to be on the nice/casual side.
One side has a lounge with live music. Not too many seats but had an intimate vibe like you are in someone's living room while they have an impromptu jam session.
Our competent and friendly server brought us warm bread and lots of butter to start with. We all had cocktails ($12 range) good drinks).
We ordered the Rib Steak with Yorkshire pudding $42, Chicken Pot Pie $22, Halibut $32 and the new your steak $36. You order your sides separate. We split salads (NO split charges). We also ordered a side of brussel sprouts and Gratin Potatoes to share and honestly could have just had one side. It was a lot of food for 4 people. You could easily split dinners.
The food was on point. The service really made our night. Vickys is only open OCT -JUNE. It closes for the summer months. Worth your time and money. I keep thinking about the Cesar salad and really all of the food. I usually don't like restaurants that require you to order everything separate but in this case, it was all worth the price. Great value for what you get.
We always love going to Vicky's. The bar atmosphere is very friendly and entertainment is always top notch. The dining room is quieter and the menu selection is great. We've liked everything we've ordered and appreciate there are vegetarian options. Sorry they close during the summer!
The food was very good but service was mediocre and the noise level was annoying. Very hard to have a conversation at the table.
We have brought so many friends to Vickys on a Friday night for the John S K band. We love the food and the service is always impressive. We were accommodated quickly when we added to our table and had to move tables. Thank you!!!👍😄🌴
Delicious food at a good price and great atmosphere and service.
Vicky's is simply a terrific place that has done an exceptional job at tailoring it's food and entertainment to the local folks. Excellent service, very good selection of fare at reasonable prices, very nice ambiance and live entertainment that is always at least good and often outstanding.
This was our first time at Vicky’s and we will give it a second chance. The fish we had was amazing but both of our sides were a complete miss: the Brussels sprouts were hard as a rock (my butter knife could literally not cut through the core), and the asparagus was so over cooked that the stems were brown, albeit still stringy, and the tops were completely mushy. Our server never came back to do a quality check so we did not have the opportunity to point this out. When I showed her at the time she came to clear the table, she simply shrugged and said “okay”. The items were not taken off the bill and no resolution was offered. We were with another two couples who are new friends so I chose to not make a matter of it. As I said, we will give Vicky’s another chance as I’m sure the staff is capable of something better than this, and the entertainment in the bar afterwards was great.
Service great food ok. Expect better for the price.
My wife and I are vegan. We came for the music, but decided to have dinner. The waitress understood the needs of vegans and the restaurant was extremely willing to make appropriate changes to accommodate us. After dinner, we listened to the jazz quartet. It was a great evening.
Always consistent service and food
I thought we were going to a fancy dinner spot with live music. We walked in to find men in shorts and baseball caps at the bar, and were led to a sad dining room in the back. Limited menu, but our food was decent and our server was very attentive.
Great club. Bear in mind that an open table reservation is not for the entertainment. Kal David on Saturday nights is fabulous.
Always fantastic Cindy is the best
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We did something a little different by ordering several courses and sharing them in the middle of the table family style. Our server did a great job of facilitating this way of enjoying the food. We will definitely go back whenever we're in town.
We were seated promptly on a Tuesday night. Unfortunately we waited 20 min (with a glass of water) and eventually had to wave down a waitress to get a menu and order drinks. The food and drinks were brought quickly, the entrees were flavorful and well prepared.
The waitress had very little eye contact or interest in us. The conversation/comments were stilted and rehearsed. I expect better service for the prices that I am paying
Great service and food. Fun live music on the weekends.
Invited guests from Chicago.
Awesome food and music was fantastic
WE ENJOYED VICKY'S OF SANTA FE VERY MUCH. THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL AND PLENTIFUL AND THE LADIES TOOK FOOD HOME WITH THEM. OUR ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE NOISE LEVEL, WHICH IS QUITE LOUD. WE WERE SEATED IN THE FIRST DINING ROOM, BUT IN A CORNER WHICH HELPED KEEP THE NOISE ABATED SOMEWHAT.
Very noisy while eating. Must be seated way far from bar area to talk while having dinner
while the venue, live music and bar area were fun and great, the food was overcooked, undercooked, cold and very tasteless. Friday night is , we were told, thw big one. Very busy so should have a kitchen used to that...clearly not the case. would go again but not for foodies.
The Sea Bass was excellent his ribs not do great not tender... but the sea bass was s huge piece snd cooked to perfection! The baked potato was great of course! The French bread nice and warm and tasted perfect! A nice generous pour of my favorite wine Rombauer Chardonnay! Service was very good my only complaint is that they used to have a spectacular crab legs special snd I keep going back and they don’t ever have it again snd it was the best !
Maybe a bit loud, but part of Vicki’s allure. Bustling bar crowd with live band. Sound eases into rest of restaurant, but not a problem for us. Looking for our steak fix, and was not disappointed. Bone in ribeye was very good. Good service. Good calamari appetizer.
After dinner, good drinks, entertainment, and people watching in bar. Would recommend!
The restaurant and bar had a lively atmosphere. Great music. We dined in the dining room and enjoyed the Food, especially the pork chop dinner and the sea bass special. There was a nice selection of side dishes. Our favorites were the grilled brussel sprouts and the beet salad.
Service was slow and my food was barely warm when served. Very sad considering the premium price.
Tonya made our visit fun! We've been lucky yo have her as our server before.
Older crowd. Well off retired local regulars. Service and food were great!
Rotisserie chicken delicious!
The music room is great, unless you trying to have a nice quiet dinner in the dining room. There was 6 of us and we found it difficult to carry on a conversation. We had to almost yell to those across the table.
Excellent overall experience. Music-Kal David Band - was awesome. Ambience was great and a fun place to be. Service very good and the food was good, although steak over cooked.
We dined on a Friday evening. The restaurant was busy. We ordered two of the nightly specials, the sea bass and the ahi tuna. Both were excellent. We also recommend the artichoke appetizer. Service was friendly and efficient.
The food and service was great. The drinks were outstanding. The restaurant was full to capacity. We love coming to Vickie's BUT the noise level was really loud. It was hard to have a conversation with the person next to you.
We had planned to spend some time in the lounge with after dinner drinks but the lounge was full with a lot of people standing so we left.
We will go back someday. It's a good restaurant.
Sat at the bar for date night
Food was great
Live Music was just so so
Good atmosphere but food was so so... Not worth the 💰
