We love the people and the food and the whole atmosphere.. Wait staff is beyond great.
Very consistent and always delicious. We have been requesting Karla’s section the last few times because she is so knowledgeable, professional, and her service is awesome.
My wife and I had a great time. Food and service are excellent !
Always love Vicky’s, great service from our server, very enjoyable. The calamari is my favorite in the desert. We had the Halibut dinner special, it was ok, a little dry, I would not order it again. There are many other fabulous items. It just sounded good. Great martinis. We will for sure be back again soon.
We made last minute reservations and were so lucky to get in when we did. Excellent service. Friendly and attentive. Quiet table in the room away from the band was perfect. The music is fine but for dining and conversation it’s better to be in the other room. Delicious meals... a little salty on the potato skin but still really tasty. Enjoyed a very pleasant evening with good food and excellent drinks. The dessert was out of this world. A chocolate cake that I’m still dreaming
We met good friends for an evening out and were well looked after. Service was friendly and prompt, food came quickly without rushing us and the food was delicious. Then we moved to the bar to enjoy the delightful music.
The service was OK. The food was mediocre at best. Very pricey. The noise level was intolerable. Never again
It was way too noisy!! We will not go back because of that.
The minute you walk in the front door you run into bar stools. That was unappealing.
It was too loud to carry on conversation except with the person sitting beside you, whether the live band was playing or on break.
The food was good except for the rotisserie chicken. It was very dry.
The service was very good.
Had dinner with friends. Service was outstanding, food was excellent. Entertainment very good.
Great atmosphere, amazing service, excellent cost x benefits, fantastic live band. It’s a great option for any day!!!
Everything is extra
Delicious dinner. Asked to be seated in quiet are and were. Love twice baked potato!
Easily shared with some take home for 2
Great time and great food.
Wonderful experience. Can’t wait to go back. The service was great and we also enjoyed the music.
This was our first time at Vicky’s and it was Easter Eve so, in all fairness to Vicky’s I’m not certain that our experience is representative of their everyday patron experience with it being a holiday weekend. We had no trouble making a last minute reservation. The service was rushed and the server was abrupt and not very attentive to refilling water or offering a second drink. One of the cocktails ordered had to be returned as there was basically no alcohol in the drink. The twice baked potato was more sour cream and cheese than potato and the sautéed spinach was inedible as it was swimming in oil with gobs of crushed garlic on top. As we were leaving, the lounge area was full with music from a great band and people dancing and enjoying themselves. I would return for drinks and dancing but not dinner.
Great, diverse menu. Food was delicious. Live jazz and pop music the night we were there. Really had a good time
Went there twice on our visit to Palm Springs. The musical entertainment the second time was absolutely outstanding. Great blues. Raina, our waitress, was warm and very knowledgeable about the food. Whatever entree you order, make sure you order the potatoes gratin. Fab!
Amazing music by Deanna Bogart Band and friends!
Great service. Our waitress had many tables and handled it beautifully, always with a smile. Bar food good.
I left a message earlier in the day and got a call back, unusual in today’s world.
All in all a great evening!
Our evening was marvelous. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Kayla was the best Server we have ever had. I have severe Celiac Disease which I wrote in the OpenTable notes. Kayla made sure my food was yummy AND safe. Moreover she selected a birthday dessert for my fiancé that I could eat, too. Our party of four had never been to Vicky’s but we WILL return - not soon enough!
Absolutely the best people watching! Add to that the filming of a commercial when we were there — complete with drones! Everything is delicious. Fresh scallops, ahi tuna, all perfectly prepared. Everything made from scratch, including the incredible bread. Top notch service. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic! Great food, wonderful service and friendly atmosphere.
Early reservation was important for Friday night. By 8 pm it was standing room only waiting.
First time at this restaurant. We had hoped to listen to music but there was a special club event so we did not get to hear the live music. The food was good. Portions large. All ala carte items though. The sausage pasta was very good but spicy. The lobster pasta was tasty. Everything was acceptable and we had great service. We will go back some time when we know the music is not booked by special event.
Sadly when I made a reservation for a table I did not realize that it was NOT for the music theatre and when we arrived we had no reservation. I reviewed the site and it wasn't clear that dinner is ONE thing but dinner and the show ANOTHER.
Waitperson inattentive - her father and his wife were in town visiting, and in the restaurant when we visited. The artichoke appetizer was tired, having sat in hot water too long. The tub of mayo accompanying artichoke had been sitting out of refrigeration too long - faded brown on top.
Made reservations for four, for St. Patrick’s Day corned beef & cabbage dinner. We’ve eaten here a number of times before. We arrived at 7PM on time, were seated and our drink orders were taken. Being a popular holiday, they were pretty busy. It took about 30 minutes to take our order, and we were informed they were already out of the corned beef and cabbage special occasion dinner. We ordered alternative choices, but weren’t at all pleased that after such a short period of time that they ran out of what we came for. Not at all impressed. Had we known, we’d have made other plans.
Obviously, restaurants need to plan for holiday events and corresponding meal components. To run out that early reflects poor planning or a lack of commitment.
Wonderful place great food dissapointed that my reservation was not where the entertainment was and only found out after I arrived ! And was then told " people pay $250.00 to teserve a table in that room" by the women up front who worked the check in desk on Sat night .... a little smerk on her face .... not a nice attitude ....
but a very nice place we moved to the area where the entertainment was as that is why we even went to Vickys and still enjoyed the night and setvice over there
Great place, though the staff could use a little wine service training .
$21 corkage is fair for the location, but our server was inexperienced and awkward with the bottle we brought.
It was our first visit to Vicky’s of Sante Fe on St. Patrick’s Day. They offered a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner which was exceptional. The service was outstanding. We will definitely go back.
We love everything about Vicky’s. Couldn’t ask for more
We love Vicky’s...great food and great service!!!
We dined on a Friday night. The restaurant was full. We were seated on time (at the time of our reservation). Service was attentive and the food was excellent, especially the sea bass which was the special. One of the diners in our group ordered shrimp. Rather than the battered shrimp on the menu, he requested shrimp scampi. The substitution was made without issues and he enjoyed the preparation. The carrot cake was an excellent way to end the meal. The very hearty portion was enough for the entire table to share.
Great atmosphere and really good food. Our server was very busy and therefore was not as attentive as we would have liked. Afterwards we went into the bar where they had live music with 3-4 musicians. It was a ton of fun!!!
I had the Lamb Shank and my wife Chicken Pot Pie. Both were great. Started with Meatballs lots of flavor and delicious sauce.
Service was awful. Waitress argued with me when I told her my N.Y. steak was cooked to medium & not medium rare. Luckily another person in our party got medium rare so the difference was obvious. Food is just average & service is poor. I would not eat here again but I would go to the bar & listen to the music. Great bartenders.
Vicki's is a great place for entertainment; the food however is O.K. at best. There were three of us dining and each meal was average to below average. Disappointing t say the least.
Overall, I felt Vicky's was a disappointment. The appetizer was an artichoke that was very boring, over done and had no flavor. I told the server that I am gluten intolerant and I needed to be careful of what I ordered, it was not 2 minutes later that she offered me sour dough bread. I wanted the Sand dabs as my main course and once again stated that I am gluten intolerant, she said that should not be a problem. When the fish arrived I discovered the filets were "lightly" breaded, really???!!! What did she not understand about gluten intolerant?
The wait staff all smelled highly of terrible laundry perfumes and dryer sheets. VERY disruptive to enjoying food and wine. RUINED the wine every time they would come to the table. Really not cool.
Our evening at Vicky's was just o.k. We have dined here in the past and enjoyed it, but not this time. I ordered the sand dabs which had a floury, pasty taste. The 'lightly dusted' flour seemed to congeal with the sauce and became unappetizing. We did enjoy the ahi tuna appetizer, but will hold off on a return visit.
