Since 1989, Indian Well's place for cocktails, dinner, live music, and nightlife. Vicky's is a place where everyone knows your name. Owner Marc Laliberte likes to say, "It's not just the place. It's the people. Our guests become friends and family." A menu of prime steaks, fresh seafood, rack of lamb, and pork chops pair with any number of sides, such as our classic twice-baked potato. A walk-in wine cellar features California wines from well-known winemakers to select boutique vintners. At the spacious center bar, signature cocktails shake up through the night. The Lounge Room with a live music program overseen by desert legend John Stanley King.

Vicky's offers some of the finest live musical entertainment in the desert. You can't beat any night John Stanley King is in the room. Yet, don't pass up the Slim Man Band with Chase Huna on sax. Service is friendly, efficient and quick. Check their website for the music schedule - then plan an evening of delightful entertainment.

We've been fans of Vicky’s for 20+ years but I have to say last nights dinner was probably our last. The table/chair decor horrible and tacky. Ballroom chairs covered in brown spandex and very uncomfortable. Don't go with the style of the restaurant at all. Plain White table cloths that don't match. Served us bread with butter in a foil take out container (what???). The mayo sauce for the artichoke had a brown skin on it…gross. Clearly had been sitting out for awhile. Lamb chops used to be thick, huge and tasty. Now (while still delicious) they are sooooo tiny. Onion and tomatoes salad was served slopped on a piece of wilted lettuce. The noise level is beyond. Can't hear each other talk. The place is just like a big diner now. Why not invest in some nice tables and chairs, fine china and glasses? Moving on.

Please consider non alcoholic wine on your menu. Someone in our party was told the corkage Fee for her $7.99 N/A bottle she brought would be $24.99. After considerable questions and no success at the ridiculousness of this, the manager finally offered her a corkage fee of $12.99 which my friend was happy to pay. She felt this was fair. I've been going to Vicki's for 30 years. Something with the food has changed. I've been there 4 times this season, hoping I just hit it on a bad night. But the food now is really bad. The chicken meat seems old, the sand dabs tasted fishy, the artichokes were over cooked. This is so disappointing to me because I always counted on Vicki's for a great meal. The live music is still great so maybe just get a drink until they get their act together again.

Had a wonderful pre Thanksgiving meal with family. Asked for the main dining room, but it was still load being next to the bar area. Just need to talk a little louder. The special was Halibut and Fried Chicken, both perfect. Had the Purple Haze martinis and those were perfect too. Valet service was awesome and overall wonderful dinner.

Food was excellent as always. Service was terrible. Don’t understand bad service as the restaurant was half empty and very few at the bar. If it was our first visit to Vicky’s we would probably not return. However, we have been dining there for years and enjoy the food so we will be back and hope for better service!

We haven’t been as happy the last couple times we were in. Servers are overwhelmed therefore service is slow. Orders were slightly off. Chicken was dry. But our biggest complaint is the volume of the early band!!. Not only could we not talk even when screaming..it was annoying! Loud doesn’t make you better

This was our first dining experience at Vicky’s and it may have been our last. My halibut was very, very good, as was my dinner partner’s. We both asked our server, Elizabeth, who was terrible, to leave off the arugula. Both dinners arrived with arugula. We ordered a baked potato - it arrived about 5 minutes after our fish and was dried out. I was going to order wine, but I couldn’t find Elizabeth. I was very disappointed as my friends had been there a week before and raved about the halibut and the service - I can rave about the halibut, too, but not so on the service.

The food here is absolutely atrocious. It always has been and they refuse to do anything about it. Change the menu. Get rid of your chef. Strat again. We keep going back for the music and try to spend money on food but it’s just garbage.

Reserved in the lounge, but the music was way too loud for the number of patrons, so we asked to be moved to the dining room. Once there, everything was great........food, service etc. PS: I really love Slim Man, but you couldn't even talk to the person next to you.......they could drop the decibel level by 50% and still be very enjoyable! Something to consider.

Fun and energetic. Slim Man Band was great- engaging music, good sound. Food was wonderful- had the Chicken pot pie, salmon, split a wedge salad and au gratin potatoes. Everything was tasty! Had no idea they would be busy on a Tuesday! Good for them! Definitely make a reservation for the lounge to enjoy the music. Bar was crowded early!

We loved the music! The band was great! We specifically made our reservations for the lounge to enjoy the music. However we didn't realize we would be so close to the band that we were almost in their way. The food was again very disappointing. We would actually be open to paying more if the quality of the food was better. I would still recommend Vicky's to friends to hear the live music, with a word of caution that the food is not good.

Looking at the other reviews-I feel like we ate somewhere else. Based on the other reviews, decided to give Vicky’s a try. There are SO many other dining options in the desert/don’t waste your money here. Everything we drank and ate was underwhelming. Wedge salad was way over-dressed, my fish was a big mushy mess, and my husband’s steak tasted like nothing-no seasoning whatsoever. Ambiance is tired and feels like a fancy Shari’s. We were in and out within 45 minutes.

The place has an excellent atmosphere, like a Pueblo. Nicely decorated with the western look. The service was excellent with a high end value. Their wine list is also excellent, very popular wines from California. I would come back again, which is a value of a good place to dine.
